how much time lapsed between the two lineart drawings?
i only ask because the newer one shows definite improvement. :3
the first lineart one i did around Sep 23, 2005 since that was when i posted it on dA. but thanks for noticing improvement! when i was working on the second one the lineart felt a lot easier to do...less fudging and tweaking with the lines and i feel that there's more variety with the line weight. i think it may have to do with the fact that the newer one i worked mainly off one layer, so it meant that i had to try harder to get the line i wanted else i'd mess everything else up. something i'll have to most definitely try and do more often down the line. hoon gave me a few pointers with line weight a few months ago and i tried incorporating those into the newer one, heh.
