The smell on the ground was of salt, and more of a dry winter musk that Gaiacenta knew. The scent came from the trees that already lost their leaves., and the water almost completely frozen over with a coat of snow. The sap of pine trees freezing into hardened beads among grey branches. She moved with an agitated leer before her as the flakes fell on her. Queerly enough she looked like a heap of blood if from a distance. Camouflaged perhaps as a rather large kill perhaps for the amount of blood. She liked this fact, because it perhaps attracted predators. All the more a thrill in a chance to fight.”Maybe I should roll around and try to attract a wolf. That way this bloody snow would not be an illusion anymore. Hm, hm.” She laughed with an agreeing nod. ‘Self-agreeing.’ Perhaps she was not alone though. Her eyes looked up, only blue tints met among the ground, but a sound could be heard. Her ears swiveled back. Could be a jackal.
Alone or not, she was deciding that for herself. If it was a helpless entity, she’d probably give it some help. Help on it’s way out, that was. No use letting it torment it’s self. A waste of time, she thought to herself. Though then the thought perhaps it could be something studier. Could she attack it? Or would it attack first? Should she attack it? She did not even know where to start, but had choices at least.

During winter, Antichrist was near impossible to see. His silvery coat blended in well with the sparkling snow. He moved slowly and would have been completely silent if not for the faint dangling of his chains.
He was curious about the female he spotted a bit away. He had a nose for such things. He could always find the females. Her scent was curious however, a race he couldn't quite make out until he crept slowly closer. She was part unicorn, that was obvious. That was the scent he thought he had caught at first but she was part Kalona too. In fact, the Kalona bloodline seemed to be strongest within the creature.
"Well, well, well," he started as he closed in on her. Even his eyes were colorless. He's be mistake as a ghost on more than one occasion. How would this female see him? "I bet I could see you from miles away. Are you extremely bold or simply an idiot? You could attract the wrong kind of attention in a place like this." He grinned but the humor did not reach his eyes.

Her head lifted to finally see his eyes- pale. What kind of demon was speaking to her? She shook her head to turn it to the right. It was not as if scoffing a glare- yet. Just seeing him perhaps from both sides- if he was transparent or, something else."Oh. Yes. I am stupid."Curled her lips into a smirk, but then headed to walk forward, just beside him. Still studying. Dangerous. This one was not at all like push overs that would lay about like prized carcasses."If I thought I couldn't deal with the situation I'd run."
Vaguely familiar with this kind of weather, her head lowered for a second at a gush of wind. Though she still wandered. As if a shark among a random object in fascination. Only to turn up to the other side. Oh. I attract attention all right. Usually those that might not expect to end up matching my coat. Nodded and lifted her head. "By what I see, you might be the right kind of attention, pending on by what side of the line I could mean." She meant what she said. Had he been one to attack, she would not hesitate to attack back, though she stayed calm. He didn't say he would attempt it. He just edged her attention- to be not like any normal unicorn. Had any stallion tasted like blood, this one tasted of war. "You're no stalker, I would take it."
Tried not to laugh, but kept her mouth closed for a second, with a smirk. "You don't bow and praise, and beg to be taken as a follower. You don't just stare, and fascinate my existence. That's the first." Swiveling her ears back and then forward. One step she took forward, to gesture as if asking a question. "So tell me. What makes you so different from a dead entity?" Her brows narrowed with much malevolent 'playfulness.' Perhaps she was looking for a reason to attack. Or a reason not to. She had two sides really, though before what could be a threat- she would have to put the little 'miss-sweetie' in her pocket and save it for a rainy day.

"Run, eh?" Antichrist grinned boldly. "I'm sure that would present quite.. a nice view. I'm almost enticed to chase you." Antichrist wondered if the female would provide much of a threat. Kalona were known to be quite evil and deadly though he was by no means a weakling. The metal brace he kept on his tail provided excellent armor and hurt quite a bit when swung at an enemy and his horn was kept ever sharp. But still.. could he match a Kalona.. or even.. a mixbreed like the female before him?
The idea of hurting a female disgusted him. He might like to make them uncomfortable but he did not enjoy causing them harm. "No, I'm no stalker," he replied to her question, "unless there's something worthy to stalk. I've yet to find such a creature. As for a dead entity, what makes you think I'm not different? Perhaps I'm as heartless and unnatural as them. Who's to judge such things?"
He trotted back and forth in front of her as he talked, but his eyes never left hers and his body stayed alert and ready for any sudden movement she might make. He didn't like hurting females but if one persisted to attack him, he'd have little choice to the matter.

Tilted her head to his words. He was a fascinating one. Perhaps even more so flirtatious in a creepy way. Shaking her head, her hair flicked back against her shoulders. Though pathetically the hair clumped over her left eye."One would suppose you are perhaps better than dead, I would guess." Trying not to laugh as he had seemed to follow what she was doing, though her nose twitched. It wasn't really her to be worried about- perhaps. You're no ordinary Unicorn, are you?" She almost looked at him with a confused look. It would almost become a snear, because she was trying to figure out what a Unicorn would be doing in the wake of a Unikalona.
He surely knew how to mess up the system, she nodded to herself, but was more secure feeling that it seemed he would not attack. Though she did admire he could perhaps take on a Kalona stallion. Perhaps. She had no side. Though if a Unicorn could pose a threat to a Kalona, she would be utterly amazed. Watching the chains, and his hair for the while- still studying him a bit. How could a Unicorn not look so childish, or feminine? Pausing, she smirked, "I doubt I could judge you, but only guess you're a misfit of all that is glitter, and has 'utopia' scratched all over it."
Smiled, but moved closer, and just butted at his shoulder with her head as if to greet him. It was a careless one, but it meant, 'You're pretty much okay with me.' It normally meant nothing past that though. She was taking care of some other mare's off spring at times, to help train it. Though, eventually that youth will have to grow, and she'd chase it away from what she'd prefer to call her territory, Almost masculine, she just didn't like it when someone thought they could take over things with out reasoning.
"This place isn't cold enough to perhaps fall asleep and never wake up, but mind if we find shelter?" The weather seemed to be biting at her ears enough to send them back against her hair. Her spaded tail waved about, though she turned from him, and looked to a cave. Black stones and snow around it. Though the inside almost looked a burgundy tint. "We can discuss our matters there, if you would like. I won't attack. Lifting her head- how she could do that, dumbfounded her, but it was a trusting nod.

Antichrist laughed. It was a hallow and empty laugh which mirrored his feelings. "No, I am no ordinary unicorn. I am not nice, loving, gentle or friendly. I don't heal the sick or weak. I don't really give a damn one way or another what others go through. It's their life so why should I bother?"
His eyes lowered as she touched his shoulder. He didn't trust this mixed breed one bit. What games were she playing at? The audacity at her request to share shelter was enough to boggle his mind.
"Though I might be inclined to stare at your a** if the opportunity arose, that does not mean I want to share a cave with you or want to get to know you any better. Go ahead to the cave. I'll talk to you come spring," he jeered.

((Someone got lazy on the text beautifying. Nyanya!)) That was just low, she had thought. She then smiled, and pushed herself forward, her eyes looking up with a saintly stare. "Oh. I see." She laughed, and stood back for a second, turning to face him from only her side. "You're not like other Unicorns, because most are feminine." Her head tilted back to throw her crimson tipped hair into place. Shaking her head she then just muttered, "That makes perfect sense."
Having remembered what he said, her eyes then lingered to just watch the under lids of his. It was to see if there were any iris at all. Probably not, but she wanted to see if she could make that one part twitch in the same disgust she felt. One for karma. "Oh. Sure. Many stallions would like to look at this horse's a**. Though since you want to give me that, I'm curious why you bother." She walked around him with a fake curiosity. "Oh. What's this? Or.... -- AHA!" She trotted again to the other side of him. "Wow. What an interesting creature." She then looked down, her head tilted to let out a resentful laugh. It was her way of covering it up so 'politely.' She could almost fall on her back and roll around with laughter, but what does that mean to her? A sick dog ready to be shot? Not her style.
Standing there against the snow firmly, looking back at him now, she quirked a brow with a smugged look on her. She had something in mind. "I'd like to say the feeling is mutual, but I don't return it so much. I don't have to chase you to see an a**." Lifted her shoulders as a mere shrug. "All I need to do is open my eyes."
Shaking her head, she looked to the side, as if about to head off. Not to the cave. She was warm enough in her own opinion. She just preferred not to be interfered with a certain foal from somewhere. That youth apparently always knew where to find her. Pity when he grows, he wouldn't want to do that again. "See me in spring, only if the world's on fire. I much prefer the cold now." By now she had her back to him, walking toward a tree to brush her horn against. It was her way of keeping it sharp. The tree wasn't but three yards away, but she acted as if she did not care.
Done sharpening her horn, this was perhaps also a stress relief habit. For all that she could have sworn to want bloodshed, it kept her in control of what she said or did. The unikalona then looked to him finally, "Funny. You've yet told me your name, but still you've disgraced my harmless intents. I'm not that kind of mare. It would take more than cheesy lines to even keep me from attacking if you got too close with out my permission. You're not a foal. You should be able to handle it with out tears, knowing why I did it."
Unlike him, she had no problems attacking any gender. She didn't normally like any form of company. Mare. Stallion. Kalona. Unicorn. Alicorn. She didn't even like the fact she could pick up the scent of another Unikalona somewhere. Chances are he was related. She didn't want to think of it. They were all pieces that made the world it's undeniably tasteless vomit, she had cringed to remember. Isolation was what snow did. It kept her from others, safe from being herded, and just used as a spawning tool. She could only hope the snow would cover her scent. It made her feel uncomfortable knowing he could find her. He must be pretty insane, either that just a lost traveler- in her opinion.
