________________Chapter I________________
_____“Why?” Raz said. “You killed our brother!” The young kitsune, maybe three hundred and some-odd years old, though appearing to be nineteen, was talking to his older brother, Kroh. Raz’s silver hair draped a black cloth, which veiled his eyes. A long white coat covered some of his feminine figure, a black shirt showed from beneath the unzipped front. Dark gray jeans also showed, which formed to a bell shape around his tattered black boots. Two scarlet hued fox ears were placed in the midst of his hair. A large black crystal was strapped to his back, with Raz’s being able to manifest said sand into anything he wanted. Lower from the crystal, three long, reddish-brown and black, fox tails poked out from a hole in his coat. His face, however, was also black and reddish-brown, the bottom of his muzzle being black, along with the throat, was surrounded by the reddish-brown hue of his fur.
_____Raz hung his phone up, and walked out of his house. He put his phone in his pocket, made sure his katana was slung around his waste, and then walked off. After taking about thirty steps, he turned the corner into a graveyard. Walking a ways in, he stopped to meet a tombstone. “Brother… I’m sorry, I was too late.” A tear seeped through his blindfold. He rose up from the ground and walked away.
_____“Zydare… I’m so sorry.” He said to himself. Raz walked back into his house, the small black-bricked hut could house up to three people. He picked up a crystal and a heavy black tome, lined with silver, and put the tome in his coat. He walked back outside and stared at the crystal, being able to see through the blindfold, as if it weren’t there. The crystal had been the only way to summon Zydare’s lance, though Raz didn’t know the spell. The lance had been known as Ershkinra. Along with the Ershkinra came the tome, Cirria. Then came the katana, Muranatetsun. Kroh had been the wielder of the Muranatetsun since his tenth birthday. Raz had held the Cirria since he was fourteen. Zydare, however, obtained his Crystal when he was three years of age. The male of feminine stature could be measured at six foot four, and weighed around one hundred seventy-six pounds. His silver gauntlets held the crystal, then clutched closed. Raz’s face was soaked in tears; he put the crystal in his pocket. He scratched the underside of his muzzle. Raz walked out into the road, and began walking to the edge of town, where he would begin a journey to the Edge of Zeria. Raz pulled a map out of his pants pocket.
_____“From Evit to Ahln… If I wanna get there by the week’s end, I’ll have to leave now.” He said looking back to the village. I was filled with brick huts, varying in color from white to black. It had been almost a hundred years since it was built. Raz had founded it when he obtained the Cirria. Raz walked into the desert. Raz always had a thing for the desert, possibly why he settled the village on an oasis. Raz walked through the desert. He looked around, nothing but sand. Raz manifested some of the sand that was on the ground into a small board. He got on it and began to move across the desert with lesser effort.

_____“Damnit Raz, I wish you knew what you were talking about.” Kroh said to himself as he hung up his phone. Kroh was about three hundred twenty-six years old. A blindfold, just as his brothers’, veiled his eyes. Kroh took after his mother, with burgundy hair. His face was a dark black, lined with dark gray. His throat was dark gray, along with the bottom half of his muzzle. He was also a kitsune, he had three tails, but he had wings. The left wing was black, while the right one was white. A pair of black jeans, black boots clothed Kroh’s figure, and his hands were covered by a set of black plated gloves. His abdomen was bare, his chest and stomach were covered in dark gray fur, his back was dark as night. Amidst his hair were two black fox ears. A difference showed in his tails, from the base, which was black, came a gray, jagged stripe, then a black one, and finally, the burgundy tip. Kroh had once wielded the Muranatetsun katana, before Zydare stole it to give to Raz.
_____Kroh turned to face a small shrine in his living room.
_____“Raz, I didn’t kill him. Mother fed his insanity. She killed him.” Kroh said to himself, “Why… Why won’t you listen to me?”
_____Kroh put his phone in his pocket, and then walked outside, into the sunlight. He shielded his face, and then became able to see. The city of Ahln, the city naming his former glory, before the Rumor came about. The Rumor named Kroh the killer of Zydare.
_____“Dye Raz, Death to Brother, Zydare.” Kroh said, stating a quote from Cirria. “The only way to summon his lance.” Kroh walked down the street, “Zy, I’m so sorry.” Kroh said to himself, about the same time Raz said it. Kroh walked to a small gray building, The Armory.
_____“Hey Lein.” Kroh said, looking at the armor and weapons. “You get my order in yet?”
_____“Yeah, it’s in the back.” Lein, the beautiful shopkeeper said, her dark blue hair draped her shoulders. She looked to Kroh, staring into his gray blindfold, “Follow me.” She said, leading Kroh to the back room. Lein’s tail wagged with her waist as she walked. Her wardrobe consisted of a white dress shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers. In the back was a small table with dim lighting. On the table were four crystals, armor, and metal scraps.
_____“Here,” Lein said, handing Kroh the crystals. “The first crystal gives you enhancements for your jeans, like shields and armor. The second one gives you a new sword, Dreamer, I believe. The third allows you blindfold to enhance your magic ability. And last, the fourth, is plate armor, to make yourself decent.” Lein walked back to the front of the shop. Kroh followed her.
_____“Thanks.” He said, clutching the crystals, absorbing them into his gloves. His pants did the same, only turning to a rubbery metal, and staying black. A long two-handed sword appeared from the second crystal, the handle was obsidian, lined in gold; the blade was pure silver, lined in obsidian. His blindfold became lined in black. A scarlet chain-plate appeared on his chest, in a stream of light.
_____“Thanks again Lein, this is really cool!” Kroh said, hugging her, “My brother will be here in a few days, you wanna meet him?”
_____“Sure,” Lein said, “Is he cute?” She said looking Kroh over.
_____Kroh stayed silent. “See ya later.” He walked out of the shop. Kroh went back home. He stood outside and examined it. The house was made from scarlet brick, lined in black paint. “Raz. I’ll see you soon.” He said walking inside and laying down on the couch.
