I'm sure everyone in here has at some point heard the reference of Homosexuality being a disease. Whether it's been directed at you or someone you know or if you've heard people discussing it. It's a very out there idea and a very wrong one as we all know. Well the other day I was watching a lot of GBLT movies and had one of them was Philedelphia. It's a movie about a gay guy taking his employers to court because they fired him for being gay/having aids. In the movie there's the homosexuality is a disease reference. Well I'm watching this movie and had a really random thought:
If homosexuality is a disease then logically, isn't heterosexuality a disease as well?
I mean...homosexuality is simply that, a sexuality. And heterosexuality is just that, a sexuality. So if one sexuality is a disease then technically wouldn't all sexualities be a disease? I mean...I don't know if someone else has thought this up and mentioned it before but it came to me and I thought I'd throw it out there. What do you guys think?

No, not really.
If one sexuality is a disease, then all of them are. That's a disease-ridden belief I could sit on.

But seriously, you can't define one thing as a disease and yet have it's sister be completely healthy. It just doesn't work. Period. It's the most moronic thing ever.

actually by the logic of ppl who use this arguemnt heterosexuality is "right" because thats how male and female are bilogically meant to be....but i agree saying homosexuality is a disease kinda seems a pretty screwed up to me

yes...it is really sad that some people actually DO believe that to be true!
One should then ask if they know of any medications to get rid of said disease, then if they say therapy is the only way to get rid of it say, "Oh! Its a disorder. Thats what you meant. Silly me! Do you know of any good free therapists? Or would you be willing to pay for me to go see one?" Of course you wouldn't ever have to talk about homosexuality and trying to 'cure' it! rofl rofl

In such an intolerant world very few would choose to be gay... Attraction is one thing. You can still choose to live a life that doesn't quite feel right by marrying someone of the opposite sex. So far, it's worked for many of the conforming homosexuals out there (By that I mean they'd rather pretend because of fear). Yeah, the marriages end up sucking, but that's what happens when you don't follow your heart.

I heard this pissant freshman (all of whos 6 siblings have enlisted in the miltary) say: "Homosexuality is a disease and we need to cure it." So from across the room I was all "Hey, you mind?" He was all "Just what I think..." Stupid a*****e.

I really cannot abide by the silly people who see homosexuality as something to be "researched and cured"...These are fellow human beings that we're talking about here. Where is the love?
I'm too mad and tired right now to post in any kind of eloquence so I think I'll stop this post before I embarrass myself.
