Roleplay Guide

[PD] Play Date
A private, pre-arranged RP between two or more Royals and/or their guardians. For this to count for a growth requirement, your Royal must have at least 5 posts consisting of at least two sentances each.

[ORP] Open Roleplay
A roleplay thread open to all comers. For this to count towards a growth requirment, your Royal must have at least 5 posts consisting of at least two sentences each. A Royal may only count each ORP once as a PD, even if more than 5 posts are made and the Royal leaves and returns multiple times.

[REQ] Requirement
An RP with LOTK that is required for growth, such as Checkups. This cannot count towards a growth requirement until LOTK deems the objective completed. To find information on medical requirements such as Checkups, go to the Durem University Medical Center thread.

[CLASS] School RP
An OPD available to only Royals in the class. Royals must interact with at least two other Royals and with the teacher for this to count towards a School RP growth requirement. PD requirements apply if additional school RPs are used for the PD growth requirements. In order to join a class, the Royal must first be registered with the Legends Academy Administration. Go there for further instructions.

[META] Metaplot
An in-shop event organized by LOTK, such as the Halloween Party. In order for this to count towards a growth requirment (as a PD) your Royal must have at least 5 posts consisting of at least two sentances each and interact with another Royal.

*When an RP is completed, -FIN should be added to the label within the brackets. Threads titled [header-FIN] nameofthread will be moved to the Archive subforum to avoid clogging up the active RP areas.

Journal RP
An event roleplayed in the Royal's journal. In journal RPs, you are not required to interact with another Royal, or interact with anybody. However, it must be in literate format and consist of more than 500 words. It must also be contained in one or consecutive posts within the journal. You also have the option of doing several shorter unrelated journal RPs, in which the minimum word count for each is only 150 words, but the total must add up to at least 500 words to count for one journal RP requirement.

Journal Entry
A 'Dear Diary' type entry from either the Parent or the Royal's perspective. These may be used as a reference for the Royal's artwork in the next stage, so it is recommended that the submitted journal entries be completed last. This must be posted in the Royal's journal and consist of at least 100 words, unless the IC writer shows mental retardation or an extremely short attention span and is not capeble of writing 100 words, in which case you must submit an additional entry for that stage.

When your Royal is ready to grow, please fill out one of the following forms and post it in your journal. When the time requirement for your Royal's growth is met, LOTK staff will check your journal. If the time requirement is met before you finish the RP requirements, you may PM LOTK to let us know.
