Has anyone here seen the BBC Narnia? In their production of The Silver Chair, the character of Puddleglum was played by none other than TOM BAKER!!!! All it took was one short audio clip and I immediately figured it out!! ^,^ ^,^ ^,^ ^,^ He's so awesome in that!!! Scroll down the character list here: http://imdb.com/title/tt0098912/Yayayayayayayayayay!! I'm gonna go watch it again! My dad (who has seen every episode of all doctors known to earth and BBC Narnia) never figured this out!!!! Wooty me!

He did such a good job at it too! I thought he was the most depressing, foreboding person in the whole thing!
"Would you like a Jelly Baby?" xd

See, with me, most of my favorite actor base stems from other favorites of mine. Ten became known to me through Goblet of Fire. ^^ Now I've got more of an idea of Four! ^^
But I'm not changing my loyalties, sorry. mrgreen Ten's still mine. You can have your Jelly Babies. mrgreen mrgreen

I have those on video tape. I loved the BBC version as a kid, simply loved it.
This is the first time ever that I realised that Tom Baker is Puddleglum. This means I'm going to have to dig it out so I can watch it, but from what I remember (I used to watch it heaps as a kid but haven't in about 10 year) I can't believe I didn't pick up on that! It's bloody obvious! xD

Then my mouth dropped open. My dad knew the second he saw TSC the first time. ^^ 7 years ago.

I think they are a gummy lolly, but I can't remember what shape they are in. I think they are ah, teddybears. Teaddybear shaped gummy lollies. I've never ever ever heard of a Narnia series??¿¿ time for some investigating.

And I found this out just by accident. It may interest you to know that the same person who did the Aslan and dragon puppets also choreographed currently 7 Doctor Who episodes. http://imdb.com/title/tt0094500/click on Ailsa Berk's name and scroll down to Miscellaneous Crew - filmography

Yes, there was a made-for-TV version of the first four Narnia books, made by British TV back in the 1980's, but I think not for the Beeb. Tom Baker plays Puddleglum in "The Silver Chair", the last in the series. The rest of the books were never filmed.

If you click on the Silver Chair link and scroll down the list of actors, you will see Tom Baker credited as Puddleglum. It was four books, sorry if I only mentioned three. They stuck 'Caspian' and 'Dawn Treader' together because they both had a main central point with Caspian and the voyages.
