Kethara was off in her own world as she walks down the beach. After all the drama as of late then forgetting mostly everything about the island she wasn't sure what she wanted to do. She was bored out of her mind, but she didn't dare go bug Lucius while he was at home.
Lifting a rock she tosses it across the water watching the little naiad girl by the name of Nerinda follow after it. She had been watching the baby for a couple of days now. Unless the others she seem very curious about the world above the water. She often peeked her head out of the water during the evening just to look around.

Lucius was heading back home, he was tired, and he was skirting the edge of Dragnid. Shaking his head slowly he let out a long sigh. He was tried, and having gone to Falassion to see if they had a book area had proved fruitless, they did, but he couldn't understand a lick of anything in them. He hit the beach and wasn't watching where he was walking, he didn't even see Kethara he was so focused on his own feet.

Kethara hadn't heard Lucius at all as she kept watching the little naiad. Lifting another small rock she tosses it at the water watching it skip a few time.
Nerinda pokes her head out of the water clapping her hands together before she slips back under the water. Swimming around in circles she await the next small rock.

Lucius bumped into Kethara.
"Sorry," He said, looking up and blinking, when he saw who it was, he had to fight a frown. "Hey," He said, and waved weakly, unsure how to go about this. He was happy to see her sure, but he was also worried about being late getting home and losing what little privalege he'd managed to eek out.
"So uhm, how are things?" He asked her, his eyes running up and down her form, his mind taking in her form with the moonlight.

Stumbling forward alittle Kethra frowns until she heard the voice. Turning around she gives him a small smile as she place her hands behind her back "I'm doing alright, been mostly staying up on the mountain as of later. Trying not to get into anyone way or bug people." glancing back towards the lake she smiles before looking back at him "How are you Lucius?"
She didn't try to hug him or anything, during her thinking she had decided she wasn't going to do anything. She didn't want to push him away and she was scared that what she was doing. Deciding she let him determine how things went she would back off for now.

Lucius smiled sheepishly and scratched the back of his head. "Alright, I guess," He admitted weakly, trying to think of something to say so that he wouldn't sound like a dork. "I've been reading a lot," He admitted suddenly. "There's not a lot to do, I'm not completely ungrounded, I probably won't be for a long time," He huffed, letting the air escape his lips quickly.
This whole thing bugged him, he wished he could make his own choices and not have his parent's be so freaking upset.

Kethara nods pushing her hand through her hair "I'm sorry you got into so much trouble because of me Luc. If I could I would somehow change it." giving him a weak smile she takes a small step back looking towards the water again.
Nerinda small head was peeking out of the water as she watch the two landers. Her bright eyes full of curiousity as she study them.
Chuckling Kethara glancing back at Lucius "I miss you, I know that doesn't make things any better. But I thought you should know that." looking down at her feet she sighs alittle not really all that sure what she should do around him anymore.

Lucius smiled a little bit. "I miss you too," He admitted. "You're really fun to talk with, and I like hanging with you, and really, it's not your fault, I was the one who lied to my parents, I made mistakes and I didn't keep my mouth shut when I should have." He sighed.
"My sister probably hates me now, and I am probably going to have to earn her trust in me back for snitching on her like I did then, but that's a problem I'm going to deal with on my own." He smiled at Kethara before looking out at the lake.
"Nice night out isn't it?" He knew he had to go soon.

Shaking her head she frowns "Yes it is, I should have left you be Luc. None of this would have happen if I hadn't bugged you. And Lucia doesn't hate you, your her brother. Blood is deeper then anything else in the world. She just angry with you." looking away she pauses for a moment, she didn't want to comment on what he said the first time.
She knew she would get too emotional and it wasn't what she needed. Giving him a smile she nods "Yes it is, very calm and peaceful. A time to think on many things."

Lucius shook his head. "No, that's not it at all, if it hadn't been you it would have been somebody else, or it would have been a guy going after my sister, my parents are the cause of this whole thing, not you, and not your actions. I did what I did because I thought I was doing the right thing and I was wrong." Sighing slowly he slowly let his head drift back towards her. "I really do like you Kethara, I really, honestly do. I've done a lot of soul searching and I have to admit, you're someone who I really do like."
He let his eyes drift back towards the water and he let out a sigh. "Give them some time, just a little time to cool down again, and then I can see what I can do about it. I would really like to hang out with you again. I understand where they're coming from now, you're only young once, and there's really no need to rush anything at all." He smiled a little out at the lake. "I think, that it's probably best that things are the way they are, sure, we may not like it now, but I think, in the long run, it will prove best."
Turning he closed the space between them and gave Kethara a hug. When he pulled away he smiled at her. "I guess I'll see you around, I really have to get going, otherwise my parents will have a cow because I'll be late, and all of my work so far will be for nothing." He bowed his head slowly. "It was really nice to see and talk to you again Ara, I hope we can again soon."

Nodding her wings flutter behind her before she gives him the smile that he would know "Let we walk with you, at least halfway?" biting her bottom lip she tries to give him a small pout without laughing.
Inside she was thinking over what he had said, he was right, they were only young once. But when you felt safe being near someone or felt like nothing in the worlf could get to you when your near them, how could you not want to show them?
It was all so confusing to her she was starting to wonder if the Guardian made her a pae'il just so she had to figure this out. She was so impatience that now having to learn about being calm and patience just wasn't her. But she had a feeling in the end it would help her.

"I don't see a problem with that," Lucius chuckled, "As long as we part ways right before the forest, that way there isn't any risk of my parents seeing you," He smirked. "Not that I'd like to hide that I'm hanging out with you, but right now it's just not a good idea to wave that in their face."
He did care for Kethara, but he understood that these things needed to go slowly, and he found that the more and more he waited and thought on things, the more and more he realized his feelings for Kethara, and what they were exactly. Each day made things just that much clearer.
All good things come with time, was his thought, and he was waiting patiently for the good things to come to pass.

Nodding Kethara looks back at the lake giving a small wave to the little Naiad before she pulls her hair up into a ponytail. Turning back towards Lucius she place her hands behind her back "Alright right before we hit the forest I shall turn back and head home just so you don't get into anymore trouble." fluttering her wings alittle she waits for him to lead the way.

Lucius walked slowly, not slowly enough to get himself in trouble by being late, mind you, but slow enough that he hoped to get a decent converstaion out of Kethara. "Yeah, that sounds like a plan." He murmured, looking towards the forest looming up in the distance.
"Kethara, can I ask you a potentialy extremely personal question?" He turned his head to her for a moment smiling. "You won't have to answer it if it bothers you, or if you feel it breaches your personal bubble too much."

Kethara bites at her bottom lip before she nods, she really didn't have anything to hide about herself. "Sure ask away." looking down at the ground her bangs fall into her face alittle as she tries to figure out what was going on through Lucius's mind.
