I found a tape of some stuff I had recorded when Sailor Moon was still on air about three years ago. I poped it into my VCR and watched. It was the English version of Endless Waltz. I was amused and kept watching.

A few weekends ago, with three of my friends from college. We gathered in my dorm and watched the entire Gundam Wing series in one sitting. Yes, that includes the movie.

I watched it for the first time on Toonami as well. I indulged in the model kits... (Which were a rip because you didn't get half of the stuff they said you did) and I began delving into full detail of every character and the such. When I first downloaded the movie, i knew that I would be a Wing fan forever.. o_o.. Although I had seen 0083 and the Original Long before. I give credit to Wing for getting me hooked on the entire Gundam Series.

Cartoon Network, but I was vaguely aware it existed before then. My brother's GF (who wasn't his GF at that point) had borrowed the "Best of Anime 1995" CD from her then-boyfriend, and I gave it a listen; Just Communication was on it. In 1999, before the show aired, I started playing the Char's Counterattack game on PSX, and was made aware that there were more Gundam shows out there.

Before the show came on, a friend of my brother's tried warning me against watching it..."It's a chick show, Chris!" he kept telling me. Well, considering where I am six years later, it doesn't seem all that bad to me. razz

Me too! Toonami 2000, watched right after my daily dose of DBZ, after the first four episodes I didn't bother with DBZ anymore and only tuned in for teh Gundam Winginess!

~Cartoon Network's Toonami was when I first started watching gundam wing, but I really didn't get into at first until I talk to my friend Amy who told me that Gundam Wing was awesome and the guys were sexy ^_^. After that I had to watch it and suddenly, after a few episodes ,I fell in love with it. I even watched Endless Waltz on Toonami. I have both the whole series and Endless Waltz on DVD now, which makes me happy blaugh

Hey look! More Toonami watching! Seems to be a common denominator. Of course, Toonami also got me watching DBZ, Robotech, Voltron, Thundercats, and Reboot as well, but Wing was always number one. Too bad they never finished running Robotech...

I first watched it on Toonami, too, but I don't remember what grade I was in. I liked the show the first time I saw it because I was like, "Okay, and what now? Who is this guy?" I'm still kind of asking that question. I love the whole reason I got into the show was because I wanted to know more about Heero's past and they never told me but I still like it. Not many shows can pull that off.

I actually decided to try Endless Waltz on DVD and found it not to be too bad, after a second watch some time later I decided to give the whole series a try and liked it quite a bit.
