The firey young woman laughed. A crowd had gathered around her at this point, and she was telling them all a few of the stories she'd gathered on her many travels,
"And -then-! Then he took up his sword and rushed towards the girl. It was a gleaming, deadly weapon and she thought that it probably had poison on it as well. She knew just what to do, though. In a flash, she'd used her water-bending abilities to pull the very ocean up over him and doused out his flame quickly enough!"

She laughed again, shaking her head. She always loved that story.

Rin-ji didn't have a hard time seeing over most of the heads in the knot of people surrounding... a girl? It was a young girl who was illustrating a story for them. He squeezed through thw crowd as gracefully as he could to get a better look and perhaps come close enough for a conversatiob.

He had been lurking around the edges long enough to gather that she was a traveller, and he excused his curiosity by justifying that perhaps she had seen his estranged teacher or knew who he associated with. Since Razuten's disappearance, Rin-ji had began to look very scruffy again. He had been living off his good luck, hoping that no one found issue with him continuing to live inside of the empty home that Razuten had housed him in. It was a delicate balance of continuing to search for any information... and avoiding tipping off anyone who may be angry with him for percievably taking advantage of the situation.

Once she had finished her story, he spoke up. "You take requests?"

She grinned,
"Well, I know a lot of stories, so I suppose whatever you request I'd probably know. All I'd ask is a story I might not know in return."

Ina turned to the older boy, looking at him curiously. He seemed to have been through better times than those of late...or perhaps he had been poor all his life. Still, he could probably offer her something,
"Or you could just give me a story and I'll give you something else."

"If you know anything about what I'm looking for, I'll think of something to share with you." He agreed with a sharp nod and a hopeful smile. This could be the shred of something he was looking for. "I'm no great storyteller, though, miss," he warned, "and I don't travel much out of this city."

Ina grinned and waved the rest of the crowd away,
"Go on, let us talk," she said, "I'll be back later."

She motioned to the older boy, walking off towards an alley she knew well that would be quiet enough, as he seemed rather serious.
"Well, I'll do my best! I travel all over with my mother and father, as we're merchants, you see. So I should know the story."

She was quite confident in her repertoire, though she knew there were still a few stories she was unfamiliar with. But, that was why she was always on the search for more! And she was certain this boy must have some sort of story she could give him a good meal for or some such.
"And I'm sure you have some sort of story, everyone's got something to tell."

"Well, in that case," he began thoughtfully, trying not to seem too curious though it crept into the corners of his voice, "have you heard of Razuten?"

Ina rolled her eyes. Well, like -that- was a tough subject to find a story about. Razuten had stories told about him every -minute-, because he was probably about the craziest person in the Fire Nation...which was saying quite a bit, because some of the nobles -she'd- met were pretty darned crazy!

"Of course I've heard of Razuten," she sighed. He must really be one of those who lived in the slums if he thought she wouldn't,
"Do you have a specific story in mind, or can I pull out any one?"

"I need one about him that's really, really recent," he said, looking more serious and businesslike than his gangly appearance allowed him. He didn't seem discouraged by Ina's exasperation; Rin-ji needed this information. "Or one about people he knows. Any teachers or something, that are, uh, still alive. Friends."

"I don't need any specific story, I'm just... I'm trying to find him."

Ina blinked,
"Oh. Well, good luck with that. Nobody knows where he is."

She shrugged,
"The most recent story involved him in some of the tiny islands to the south enjoying a nice cold drink and some dancing girls...which really is one of the less far-fetched of the stories. I remember hearing one that he's in the polar caps capturing penguins and another that he's attempting to build an army in the Earth Kingdom."

Rin-ji sighed heavily and fell back onto a nearby crate for a seat. First off, the woman who took Razuten away didn't look like a dancing girl, and he had no idea how to get to the islands in question anyway. He felt that familiar futility settling itself into his chest again. "The dancing girls one isn't a few days recent, is it?"

Ina shrugged,
"Sure is. But, it's all rumour. I doubt any of it's true."

She looked at him curiously. He was so -sad- and -serious-,
"Hey! I know what'll cheer you up!" she grabbed (or at least attempted to) his arm quickly and pointed off down the alley,
"It's just down this way. You'll see. It's awesome."

Caught off guard, Rin-ji could think of little to do but stand and follow her gesture. For the moment his concerns about how to find his teacher were successfully forgotten.

"What is it?" He asked, immediately trying to think of what was exciting in this area. His knowledge of the city was steadily getting better, but still too spotty.

Ina led him to a tiny little building not that far into the alley. She poked open the door and grinned. It was a restaurant/antique store, with items on the shelves off in a side room, but the majority of it dedicated to being a restaurant,
"We'll have something to eat and then look at the stuff. They told me they just got in some neat stuf...and a lot of people come here from all over-- so maybe one of them will know something about Razuten."

Not that she really cared about Razuten, but he seemed very concerned about him, so she figured she might as well throw that in. Really, though, she just thought he looked like he could use a good meal and some fun!

Though Rin-ji seemed to grow self-conscious coming into the shop, he didn't shy away. Especially at the suggestion that he might find out more about Razuten... and he was a little hungry. But soon he realized this place was definitely above his price range. "Listen, it's a nice place, miss, but I think it's a little too pricy for me," he admitted, sounding distinctly embarassed.

Ina grinned,
"Oh, that's okay," she motioned to the seat she'd picked out. The place wasn't too crowded just yet, but they'd all be rolling in soon-- it was about lunch time, afterall.

"I'll take care of it. You just have a seat and we'll eavesdrop for information or something,"
She settled comfortably in her chair, setting her hat down on another of the chairs, since the table had four of them,
"So, how come you're so interested in Razuten anyhow?"
