Anyone who is familiar with Phish is well aware of this legend. It is the magnificent story of Icculus, and the Helping Friendly Book, and the evil dictator Wilson.
It was originally a rock opera written by Trey Anastasio, originally titled "The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday".
There have been 5 complete TMWSIY shows in Phish history: 3/12/88 Nectar's, Burlington, VT; 10/13//91 Surf Club, Olympia, WA; 3/22/93 Crest Theatre, Sacramento, CA; 6/26/94 Municipal theatre, Charleston, WV; and 7/8/94 Greatwoods, Mansfield, MA.
For those of you not familiar with this you can read all about the legend here:

Feel free to discuss anything related to Phish, or their songs, especially those related to Gamehendge.

7/8/94???!!! Greatwoods, Mansfield, MA???!!!1
Arrrrgh! If they only could have waited a year (I was at Great Woods in 95)
I've heard them do Tela, Lizards, Col. Forbin, AC/DC Bag, some other Gamehendge stuff, but not in its entirety. The only way I ever got to hear Trey's Thesis all the way through was on tape. "Tela" is one of my favorite songs of all time.
Wow, this threadlet brings back the memories.
I think KrauseMouse is qualified to comment on this one... question

I've heard the tape (actually, I downloaded it on Morpheus, but don't tell anyone pirate ). It's very poor quality, but I still enjoyed listening to it.
