I thought this might liven things up a bit, as new conversations always cause some sort of interest. So simply, those of you who have read the manga and gotten up to her, how many of you like Nozomi? For those of you who don't know about Nozomi, this is she, in her first manga appearance:  She's a very intelligent, songstress who desires to be a famous singer. She lives with the other cast at the Inn because she's studying with Yuka and Kouta. Her fundamental flaw is her over melancholic attitude toward life as derived by her incontinence (inability to control the voiding of one's bladder when under duress). I think she is honestly the cutest character in the manga. xD Well, okay, what do you people think of Nozomi?

She really is quite cute. What kind of role does she play in the manga? Is she another love interest? does che know about diclonius? Hmm... maybe I shouldnt ask these questions... I dont want to much to be given away.

Deschaine She really is quite cute. What kind of role does she play in the manga? Is she another love interest? does che know about diclonius? Hmm... maybe I shouldnt ask these questions... I dont want to much to be given away. I'll just say this....NozomiXSomeone is my fav pairing in the manga.

Moodyangel she is pretty cute kinda odd with the diaper though I kinda find that to be one of her endearing characteristics, it makes her so odd in her head, but everyone treats her really nice regardless. Especially Nyuu (both "baby" Nyuu, and the "human" Nyuu (only in the manga) )

Deschaine So when does Nozomi come into it? I want to meet all these characters you keep posting about! I think her first appearance is in Volume 5, which is the manga she appears on the cover of.

One: Someone PM me a link, because anime-source takes it upon itself to update Elfen Lied like once a year and I REALLY want to read the manga
Two: I actually consider Nozomi to be kind of a flat character. Elfen Lied is an anime that is bustling with female characters, and someone who acts exactly like another one of the main characters shouldn't really be appointed to the focal cast. Whatever. I know she plays a bigger part later, but would it kill her to be unique? There, I've said my bit. Hopefully she'll make herself more notable in the future.

Thats why she is so shy, so many people are naturally inclined to think bad of her because of her differences from "normal" individuals, when, in all reality, she is the most normal person in Elfen Lied. She comes into her own once she starts appearing more in the manga, up to the point where is the only main female who actually vocally articulates her feelings for Kouta, where it takes Lucy and even Yuka to the end of the manga to muster up that courage. Nozomi is actually very unique, you just need to look past how preternatural everyone else is. Not to be mean to the other characters, but she is a normal girl living with a house of freaks. >.> How unique CAN she be?! XD
