Near the entrance sits a large fountain, surrounded by a wall of plexiglass designed to keep the water in and enthusiastic patrons out. There are three doors, one to the left, one to the right, and one directly ahead. Which will be the first adventure? To the right - The Living Earth An exhibit of the world's different habitats To the left - Adventures of the Human Body An exhibit based on experiments, teaching children and adults alike about what goes on inside their bodies And Straight Ahead - The IMAX theater and a few other doors Be surrounded by the stars, swim with the sharks, and soar through the air, all without leaving your seat More may be added later

"Momma! Momma! Momma! Momma!" The boy squealed, rushing from one side of the fountain to the other to watch the water fall. This didn't look like the water at home, there were lights under this stuff, shiny lights, and it was sparkling.
"What baby?" Ul sighed, lugging her bag up onto her shoulder. Sure, he was a child now, and she didn't really need to carry a diaper bag, not for diapers at least, but for bleach swabs and other cleaning supplies, he tended to make a mess.
He looked puzzled, he hadn't really expected her to answer, "Nothin."

"Hey, Ul!" Jadaria called from where she was sitting on the front steps, pushing herself up so that she might be seen better. A bright smile graced her face, her other hand coming to rest on her hip. She'd gotten there early, simply because she couldn't stand Kajika's whining all morning.
"Miiiiiiim~ Whossat?" The red and black clad boy called from the cement, where he was currently balancing on his head. Normally, a parent would have stopped that, but not with Kaji! He had an innate sense of balance, it seemed - and loved to do acrobatic feats like this or walking along the brick fence that encircled their home. No fear, no fear!
"That's Ms.Ul and Teagan, sweetie. Come on, stand upright and say hello..." Which of course, only got a whining grumble.

Ul waved at the woman, shifting the bag's weight again. Damn, why did all of it have to be so heavy? "Hey Jadie!" My, her son looked bigger than she remebered, had she even seen him before? She though so, at the project house once. Well, he must be about Teagan's age by now.
(Yees, I shall call you Jadie now, fear >D)
"Jadie!" Teagan mimiced, copying every move his mother made, though he quickly became bored and shifted his attention to the other child, pointing at him as he looked up at his mother curiously, "Whozat?"

(*fears* XD)
"Hope you made it here alright! Traffic wasn't too bad, I hope?" Jadaria smiled, stepping down the stairs to stand near her hyperactive son; she idly reached out, resting a hand on one of his feet. It was there, might as well, right?
"Teeeeeagan~ I like that name." Kajika kicked slightly at his guardian's hand, then noticed the other boy. "I'm Kaji! Uhm, well, Kajika." He giggled a bit, then flopped over onto his back before popping back up and crouching beside Jadaria.
"You'll have to excuse him, Ul... He's not used to being as tall as he's gotten, and he rather likes to stay that way," she noted, laughing a bit.

"Not at all, actually, I left my care back with Cinnamon, we walked here." She rustled around in the bag and pulled out a bottled of hand sanitizer, using some herself before she used about half of what was left in the bottle on Teagan's, scrubbing furiously. To most it might have seemed she was a bit of a clean freak, but she was more worried he might give something to the other child. Could they even pass germs? Oh well, better safe than sorry.
"Moooommmmaaaa" Teagan whined, a bit embarassed and frustrated by his mother's actions. He fidgeted and managed to pull away from her, making a dash toward the other with an eager smile, repeating the other boy's name as he ran, "Ka-ji! Ka-ji!"

"Oh, that's good, then. I had to walk - Kaji can't stand to be in a car for more than five minutes. I swear I don't know what he'll do it I have to take him on a road trip or something..." Laughing, she shook her head, shrugging helplessly. She did wonder at the hand sanitizer - she was lucky if she could get Kaji down for a bath, much less random washings during the day. Ah well. (Honestly it was the bathing part; Kajika loved the WATER, just not the SOAP.)
"So, you all ready? I've already got Kaji and my passes."
"Teeeeagie!" Kajika giggled and stood up straight - he was surprisingly tall! The top of his head reached to the bottom of his mother's chest, which was fairly up there seeing his age! He swung his arms, rocking back and forth on his heels.
"S'nice t'meetcha!"

Ul nodded, pulling two cards out of the bag and holding them up, "Yep, Mora loved this place, get year-round passes in case she decides to take them all out here some day, I don't like her handling money." She flashed a smile and walked forward, taking one of Teagan's hands in her own, "Just need to stop at the info booth and pick up a map. I hear they got a new exhibit, it's supposed to be fairly interesting."
"Unnnn" Teagan whined, wanting to be free of his mother. He managed to slip his hand loose and fall back toward Kajika, holding his tail out the the boy while he tried to wipe the lemon smell of his hands. Hmm, maybe he should say something back, yeah. "Nice t'meetchu too!" He piped, wiggling his tail happily. Apparently he expected something to happen, a hand-tail shake maybe? It was hard to tell.

"Alright. C'mon, Kaji, we're going inside now." Jadaria smiled, waving a hand for the Eden to follow, then set to climbing the short set of stairs towards the museum doors. It seemed as though she trusted the boys to follow - which she did, of course. She knew that Kaji wouldn't want to get in trouble!
"What kind of new exhibit, anyway?"
Kajika crinkled his nose at the tail, then reached out and poked at it suspiciously a couple of times - ah! It felt like his brother's tail! He brightened visibly, a giggle coming from his throat as he gripped the tail firmly. "Fuzzy~!"
Just then his mother called, and he hopped towards the stairs, still holding the other boy's tail. "Commmmiiiinnnn'~!"

"Yiiiipe!" Teagan squealed, leaping to keep up with the child, and his tail. But it was hard, is he jumped too high it pulled on his tail and he'd fall down again! So what was he supposed to do? "Fuzzy like a caterpillar that's gonna break!" He whined, but didn't try to get away from the other boy. This was actually kinda fun!
"I think it's called the Living Earth." She shifted the bag onto her other shoulder and jogged after Jadie, casting one glance back at Teagan and Kajika. Well, they'd come along, if not, Teagan had a tracker embedded in one of his ears from when he kept wandering off. "It's about all of the different biomes around the world. The main one is focused on rainforest and forest type habitats, so I figured the boys would like it, and maybe learn something."

Kajika stalled a moment, then let go of Teagan's tail after he realized it might actually be hurting the other boy. He scratched at the back of his neck embarrassedly, then grinned widely as Jadaria opened the doors.
"Race you!" he cried, then bolted up the stairs, for the door; he didn't run, but lept, landing on all fours and springing again, past his mother and that other lady.
"Oh, wow, I bet that would be--" Jadaria was cut off as Kajika zoomed by, nearly knocking her off of her feet.
"LITTLE BOY, YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!!"
((Sorry I've taken so long. Flatsales in shops and trying to get ready for my trip to Texas. xD))

"Waaaaiiiiitttt!" Teagan mock whined, staying still for a second before he dropped so that his backside nearly touched the ground before he leapt into the air, clearing a good seven feet before he landed shakily in front of the door, nearly slamming head first into it. He teeterd for a moment before falling onto his butt, a defeated pout on his face, "You win." Momma would be really mad if he'd broken one of these glass walls, he'd learned that the hard way at the project house.
"Tea-" Ul started, but cut off with a soft sigh as he stopped. Thank god, the walls here were plexiglass, they wouldn't just break like the ones at the project house, he could really get hurt here. She turned her attention back to the other woman, "I hope they'll enjoy it, there's a little ride thing built into it, to guild through the exhibit. With safety bars to hold them down."

Kajika pounced up the stairs, stopping and sprawling aside with a squeak as Teagan landed near him. He giggled afterward though, sitting there a few moments and grinning widely. "I wiiiiin~ I wiiiin~ S'okay, though... Maybe you win next time!" He clapped enthusiastically, then popped up to stand at a stern look from his mother.
"Safety bars? Gooooood... Kaji, get off the ground, come on..." Jadaria sighed, reaching out and pulling one of the heavy doors open. The little dark-haired boy darted inside, bouncing up and down and rocking on his heels impatiently.
"Well, at least he's excited!"

"Maybe." Teagan agreed, darting after the boy despite his mother's quiet protests. "Looook!" He cried, dashing over toward a wall that was covered in what at first looked like a swirling pattern, but showed itself to be an ant farm built into a case attached to the wall. "They're moving!" With his face nearly plastered to the wall, he watched the little bugs dig and store. He rapped a hand on the glass, tail flicking back and forth as he tried to get their attention, "Hey buuggggiiieess!"
Ul laughed, "Yeah, excited." She shifted the bag so that the weight was more on her hip than anything else and walked through the doorway with a smile to the other woman, "Let's just hope they don't break anything."

Kajika skittered over at Teagan's cry of surprise; his face smushed firmly against the case, mouth drawn into a wide 'oooooo' shape. "Buggies! Bugggiiiieeeess~!" He mimicked the other boy's attempt to get the little creatures to pay attention, though it didn't seem to work all that well - the glass was probably thick.
"Ah, Kaji... leave those alone..." Jadaria laughed softly, shaking her head. "At least they seem to be getting along, eh? Guess they're like that at their current age though, huh?" She smiled widely, looking around at the place - she hadn't been to one of these in ages!
