Okay, I know this is a CSS and profile guild but I've come here in the past and found this guild to be helpful before.
So now I return for some more slightly unorthodox help.

Image maps, can I code/host and post them for signatures?

    1. I use Adobe photoshop imageready to create an image.
    2. In there I can place url's in images and text which work wonderfully when I view them in mozilla firefox.
    3. When I save the image though in either .psd (which I do not do anymore) or .bmp or .jpg and host the image at my hosting location. (imagecace.com)
I only save the image - not the links or ortherwise code.

How can I save not only my image for the map but actually save the code (links) too?

Yup, there are ways to have image maps in your sig. I don't know how to do it personally, but there are two tutorials (with two different ways to make image maps) I've found that should be of help to you.

[How To] Make an IMAGE MAP by borobdin
[Simple tutorial] PHP-free SIG MAPS by Lord-of-the-flies

Image maps use separate coding to work- coding that's not in the images- which is why they don't work when you save them. What you're looking at when you view them is the HTML (which is the second reason why they don't work in your sig; you can only use BBCode in your sig).
