((Shizuko and Yume have known each other for many months now, and Zuko's developed a crush on her! @_@ Recently he asked her on a date, and she nodded a yes, so this is the thread for that promised date. wink heart domokun ONLY me'n Sirene can post!))
Zuko fidgets nervously as he drives slowly down the road in the car a friend of Niko's lent him. "Don't crash or swerve if your eye wanders to a pretty face, I went broke paying for that thing! It's worth more then you are...!" He laughs softly as he remembers Donna's finger wagging in his face, and her grudging allowal of borrowing her shiny black convertible. I won't crash, how could my eyes wander to a face prettier then Yume's...? He thinks idly, shaking his head quickly as he pulls up slowly to Yume's house, turning carefully into the driveway. He turns the car off, walking up to her front door and ringing the bell, trying not to twitch nervously.

Yume blinked at the sound of the door bell. She hadn't expected him to be on time...let alone early. Standing up suddenly, her chair dropping behind her as she did, she looked back out her room door at the main door. "It's for me!" She screamed making sure Sirene wouldn't get to it before her. Last thing she needed now was to have Zuko dragged into one of her mother's questions. They would be there awhile.
Checking her hair and make-up once more in the mirror before she ran out the door, she smiled and nodded at herself and stepped out. "Night Mom. Night Jiyuu!" She called out opening the door. She hadn't had that much time to get ready so her hair was pulled back in a single pony tail, a bit of lipstick and eye make-up to help but nothing to much. She wore jeans and a fitted black shirt not having any idea where they were going but, since he didn't tell her formal, she just kept it nice.
Opening the door all the way, she stood smiling at Zuko. "Hey. You're early." She smiled as Sirene and Jiyuu appeared in the hallway.

Yume smiled seeing him. He was always dressed in something good and black but she couldn't complain. It did look good on him. Returning the hug, she looked at his face. "Zuko, do you want to play forty questions with my mom or have fun tonight?" She smiled and pointed back at Sirene and Jiyuu.
"Come on Yume, be nice." Sirene said moving up and placing her hand on Yume's shoulder. She smiled and Zuko and reached her hand out for his. "It's nice to meet you, Zuko. I've heard alot about you." She smiled as she heard Jiyuu growl. Looking back at her son, she shook her head. "And now, I wouldn't play all the questions because your brother needs to get to bed before it's too late. She turned, her blue hair moving back as she reached down and grabbed the growling Jiyuu and disappeared into the back. "Have fun and be good!" She called back making sure the last part was heard.
Yume winced at her mother's words and looked back at Zuko. "Well, welcome to my household. Sirene knows how Jiyuu feels so I guess she's being nice and helping out." She nodded and stepped closer out the door way. "I'm sure she will be awake when we get back so you can really meet her..." She said gawking at the car.

Yume gave a small giggle and slid into the front seat. "Thank you kind sir." She smiled looking up at him giving a light nod before making herself comfortable in the car. Looking around inside it, she had a strange feeling it wasn't his but she let it go.
"So what do you have planned or do I get to be surprised?" She smiled sweetly wondering how much of his planning she could get out of them before they got there. Looking back to her home, she smiled and mouthed a thank you to the door betting her mom was still watching them until they drove off.

Yume smiled and shook her head as she felt the wind from the convertable in her hair. She smiled hearing the ice skating and shook her head slowly. "Nope, I have never been. You get to teach me yet again." She smiled nodding at him as the turned onto the main street. All the lights flashed in her eyes as she scanned all the shops. "I so need to come here one day." She laughed watching the people and stores go by.
As she enjoyed the ride, she turned her eyes back on Zuko and blinks. "I didn't know you could drive. When did you get your license?" She asked sitting back smiling.

The dome coming into view, she smiled as he stopped the car and came to her door. "Thank you kind sir yet again." She smiled warmly and slid back out moving from the car and stood waiting for him to join her.

"Just don't get pulled over and we will be fine. I don't want to have to explain to mom I got in the car with an underage driver. She would scream and the have alot to say to me after you left. " She smiled and took his arm nodding slowly. "Thank you kind sir." She said like a princess would taking the arm of a prince, even giving him a small nod in approval.
Looking back over her shoulder, she scanned the car one more time, not believing he had gotten them there alive. She sighed and held onto his arm. "Got the skates too?" She smiled looking up at him making sure he didn't forget anything.

As he opens the door, it is a wave of light, music, and a mix of cold and warm air. He goes over and sits down on a bench, pulling his boots off and leaving them under the bench. He puts the smaller pair of skates on the seat next to him while drawing the larger ones onto his own feet. "Here you go, I hope they're the right size. I just guessed what size your foot is, and I think it's close..."

Yume stopped as he turned around and ran back to the chair. She was laughing as he came back to her side and walked again. "Good job, forgetful." She smiled and headed inside behind Zuko.
She was smiling as the music and light hit her. She walked in and picked up the shakes he put in her chair. Smiling as she looked them over, she nodded. "I think they will fit. They look good." She smiled and sat down pulling on the shakes and lacing them up. "Seem to fit pretty well." She smiled cat like.
