You may or my not know that another spin off program is starting on new years. This time it's all about Sarah Jane (not one of my favourite characters, but still.) I was watching Blue Peter earlier and they had a short film about it (a really cheesy one that doesn't really tell you anything.) I was about to turn over when the an alien who looked identical to Mary (in her alien form.)

Does anyone else think it's strange that things from Torchwood, the adult spin-off show, are crossing over to Sarah Jane Adventures, the children's spin-off? Surely the younger people watching Sarah Jane won't recognise the alien.

(Sorry if that made no sense, I'm working on my media coursework as I type this.)

That is odd...
We know by now that they like reusing good actors once they've found them...but then again, they don't ignore connections...
What on *earth* could Mary have to do with a kids show... ?

Maybe it's a relation of the whore that "Mary" possessed. Since Mary is currently in the center of the sun, it couldn't be her.

That's what I was thinking. It can't be Mary or her jailer (since they are dead.) I was thinking it may be someone coming back to look for her, but I'm not too sure.

I'm trying to find out more, but it's not got much about it on the internet at the moment.

It could still be Mary-as-alien though, and Sarah-Jane is crossing the timeline. She could cross paths with her before Mary encounters Torchwood?

Timelines everywhere rolleyes so hard to keep track of them all.

Indeed. I keep getting my timelines mixed up too. I guess we may find out at new years, but I don't want to wait that long emo

i dont thinks this will be successful

Well, as someone said, different timelines. It could, also, be a different one of that species, because I am pretty sure that Torchwood and Sarah Jane adventures are going to be at the same time in the timeline.

But, does Sarah Jane have K9 in her show? If not, it could be set before School Reunion when she gets a brand new K9 (was it mac 3?)

I don't think it will be successful either, but there we go.

I'm pretty sure as they are set in the same timeline, so it will probably be a different one of the same species. There is the possibilty it's set before Torchwood and therefore before Mary gets sent to the Sun.

I didn't see K9 in any of the clips. Apparently she has help from the kids who live next door to her, so it could be set pre-School Reunion.

And then we will get K9 all alone in the future in his own cartoon biggrin

My friend made a good point, he would watch Doctor Who if it was made in to an anime. Hint Hint Japan wink Or BBC (which would be called Englime XD)

That would be very cool indeed (and would give me an excuse to improve my Japanese some more.)

(On a completely different subject, why does tidying have to be so much hard work? I have to get my room tidy before tomorrow when we pick up my Dad's christmas present, and the only thing it's really doing is making my back hurt.)

Heh, My room is beyond tidying, It is a small box room. I am moving the stuff around in it to make it look bigger though, depending on if I get a wii or not XD

I think the main reason it's so messy is because all my piles of stuff fall over. It has to be tidy after school tomorrow because my Dad's getting a snake for christmas and it has to stay in my room until then. I might just throw everything into my closet instead.

PS. I want a Wii! I'm saving for one, but I'm way off.

They would be very cool indeed. My dad reckons they need to make a star wars game for it.
