You should really get a sample pic so people can help you out. I've read some books and the basic things seems to be propportion for the body(waist should be less wide than the chest and hips, the old "hourglass" thing.) The arms should be slender and soft looking, the face should be skinny and smooth. I find the hardest thing in drawing a girls face is the lips. They are important.

lol, I looked all over the main forum for my topic... but it was here in Q & A blaugh moved I guess...
no one ever comes in Q & A... so I posted it in the main forum razz __________
Thanks alot for your advise smile
I like your art, Nunja cool and I'm very glad your willing to help. 3nodding ... I dont really know what to ask for, for help, besides the basic shape of the face, I guess confused
and, thanks for the tips Resonantscythe biggrin ... Ill be sure to get some sample pics as soon as I can... but as you see in my other post "Scanner/USB/MSS", Im having trouble uploading the images with anything confused ... I actually don't have any female pics to show yet... can't ever get the face right for some reason neutral
I find that I can actually draw eyes really good... I have no clue how... I never even practiced, but I guess that is just a skill that comes to me naturally. lips... I think they are rather hard too, for they define alot of the attitude, mood, and personality wink
and, to be more specific on my problem... when I draw the head as a girl's, it looks like a man's... the eyes and all that don't... I think its just the curve and the roundess of the face Im having trouble with. I don't know any good reference pics... so if anyone could post a pic or so for me to see how to shape the head on a female... I'd REALLY appreciate it xd
if anyone else has any advise... I' still accepting help cool

AndoruSaN lol, I looked all over the main forum for my topic... but it was here in Q & A blaugh moved I guess... no one ever comes in Q & A... so I posted it in the main forum razz Well, the Q&A subforum is new, which is why it has less posts. ^-^; But if you started posting here more, maybe people would start coming here more often. :3 For girls, I try to think "squishy". (Here, Maico's a good example: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/1588990702.01._AA240_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg ) Squishy hips, (almost as wide as the shoulders, bigger is better because otherwise they look a little strange) squishy boobs.. (they're like water balloons. :3 ) and lots of curves. But more outward curves than inward ones, because then they can start looking all noodley and floppy. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/NuriKitsune/misc tut/heads007.jpg

Thanks 3nodding Just Google "Maico 2010" It's a good little series. :3 Very cute girls. By squishy, I just mean a lot of full, rounded shapes, rather than straight lines and angles and such. (Well, some angles are good, like on the hip bones and elbows, etc.) Anyway, for the face... I just tend to draw wider eyes, thicker lashes, smaller noses, blushier cheeks, more defined lips.. (that doesn't mean drawing the outline of the lips, necessarily, just maybe drawing a curved line for the bottom lip, or making them shinier or something. ^^ )Also, the hair can help you a lot. I tend to give most of my girls thick bangs, and have their hair curling around their cheeks. But that's just my preference, there are a lot of ways to use the hair to give a more feminine impression. Maybe look through some salon/fashion sites or magazines or something to see what works. :3
