Right. So.
The big question: Is The First United Church of Bowie a cult?
You may be thinking "Good question Ziggy, but how can we tell"?
Well! First off, a religion is not a cult, but all cults are based off a religion. The main difference is that in a cult, the leader is almost or as powerful as the god the cult worships. (Wiki "Heaven's Gate" for details.)
This is when it get's tricky.
So now we must ask ourselves: "Is Bowie really a god?"
If we can prove that he is actually a deity, rather than a man, we may have a religion rather than a cult. (Assuming that we don't start worshiping Lion Sora as well...)
However, if we do infact fail in proving his godly state, we still have problems calling ourselves a cult. For instance, Bowie isn't actually preaching anything, so he can't be our "leader" per se. BUT, he's still human. In other words, who gets sued when we drink the Kool Aide? ninja
Now, we are all assuming until we have valid proof, that Bowie IS infact a god. But we must also take into consideration that he is also a rock god. And as I have reminded the guild before, rock and roll is product of the devil. (Obviously.) This throws us into worshiping a negative spirit. No fluffy clouds for you!
Rumors are also flying that he may infact be a vampire.
1. He NEVER AGES.
2. He's iridescently pale.
SO! If you throw in the fact that he is inhumanly sexy, we may very well be dealing with the anti-christ.
I mean, if you're cool with that it's fine with me, but let's atleast consider our glam rock dogma.
PROPOSED GOALS:
1. Find proof we are not a cult
2. Build members regardless
3. Does this mean that Satan's grandbaby is Bon Jovi?
4. Determine if goat sacrificing is the way to go
5. With our group's belief's combined I AM CAPTAIN PLANET! we can eliminate taxes!

Well it is not that he never ages. He does, he just ages well. As in as the years have gone by his jaw line become more distinct and other small changes (All sexy add ons of course). And I am also incredibly pale. Paler then he is. But I am -not- a vampire. So there goes that theory.
So David Bowie is a Vampire.
Goat sacrificing is a bit to messy.
Is David Bowie infact a God?
That is an excellent question. If he was a god what powers would he have? Hmm I must ponder this.

Well... His pale-ness is due to previous cocaine abuse... But uhm... I just think that David Bowie is what you get when Demons, and Angels mate... I mean, he sings like an angel... But he sings Rock 'n' Roll... He's Devilishly sexy, but still somewhat resembles an Angel... Kind of. And uhm... He's really... Well... Wild on the outside, but a gentleman on the inside. Sooo... Basically...
Demons + Angels = David Bowie.

No, no. His dad was a fallen angel. Which explains the evil side of him. His mother was an angel. This explains all the rest of him. But an angel is an angel regardless. Genetcially, fallen angels/demons are biologically the same as angels because they both started out as angels. So the idea of demon/angel is a choice; an enviornmental effect. Therefore, even if Bowie was the offspring of an angel and a demon, he'd still end up an angel. Which brings us back to where we started, because that cannot explain his evil side. A better question to ask (assuming this theory is correct) would be who/what influcenced him to a darker side?
