"I'm going to learn about all the special things you can do and then we'll practise togeather and become the best team ever." Del said cheerily as they walked down the hall of D-corp towards the classroom where she was to learn all about Echo and his abilities as a bronze dragon. She'd been waiting for this day for so long it was second to her excitement over Echo's hatching which had only been a short time ago.

As they entered the room Del eyed the board and broke into a grin, this was going to be great, she had a very awesome partner.

Echo trailed behind Del paying little attention to what the girl said, there was too much to see and do to pay attention to just one thing.

Del nodded " Hi I was wondering What sortof water Echo likes best, salty or fresh and if there was a certain temperature the water should be, oh and will he still like the tide washing over him or was that just as an egg. " She paused to get her next set of questions in order. " Can I feed him normal fish cooked and uncooked. So far he just eats tuna sandwhiches. "

Del nodded as she took the information in, She'd take Echo to the beach when she could but in the meantime he could swim with her in the fountain at home. " Hmm Ok, What should I know about the stuff on the board" she inquired.

Echo once again ignoring Del in favour of exploring the classroom. Head low to the ground the young dragon was examining the perimiter of the room.

Del stared at Echo in awe, all she had was echolocation, nothing even remotely as cool as what Echo could do. She hoped someday she'd have cool powers too, especially since now she knew that Echo would help her great as a superside kick becuase he'd love justice.

Still the girl had question " Can the lightning and fog and gas effect me?/" Del had no desire to be shocked or blinded by her partner.

Since he was being talked about Echo chose this time to turn around and head back towards the two talkers. He noted the glimmer in Del's eye and puffed up his chest a bit. Oh yes he had good powers and would be very strong.

Looking at Echo Del didn't see herself riding him anytime soon. " Ok that's good to know." She paused trying to think of more questions " Why is he yellow is he's a bronze dragon? Should he sleep in the water or can he keep cuddling with me at night? When will he be big enough to fly and should I do anything special to help him."

Echo just shook his head, he was yellow becuase he was,he'd sleep near her to protect her and he'd fly when he was good and ready. Still Echo did like the concern his partner showed him.

Was it.. yep that was agitation Del picked up in Perilas's voice apparently she needed to shut up now. She'd gotten a lot of information so she was pretty happy with had happened here. A small rumble in her and Echo's bellies also signaled it was time to go. Smiling she nodded towards the door " Is it ok if we go now, I'm really glad you taut me what you did and I can always come back if i have an emergency question right, like if he gets sick or something and I dunno what to do."

Del nodded , turned and left the room Echo trailing after her. It had been a very good day for Del and D-corp and while she had no plans to visit again soon so far her experiences with the people that had made her had been pretty good. They were not the crazy scientists that sci-fi movies predicted they ought to be.
