With a quickened step she padded off further into the foliage. Adriana was never a wolf that was quick to be afraid, but she was smart enough to know to get the hell out if she felt her life was being threatened. And in this moment, in this time and place with only the overhanging trees watching her, well she felt like there was a threat there. She had heard something, and smelt it. A smell she hadn't known before, and if she dwelled on it too much then maybe, just perhaps, it might consume her. The fear would drive her insane and she would be left in the way of whatever creature this rank was coming from.

Or maybe it was just a figment of her imagination. She didn't know, she didn't WANT to know. She only knew that she just had to keep moving.

Eerie, eerie, eerie, whispered the night air softly in Noyama's ear. "Bah!" she protested against it, rolling onto her stomach and mushing her nose irriatably into the ground. The trees chuckled darkly at her, chanting the wind on, telling her she was going to die. "Would you shut that infernous of a racket!" she snapped angrily at nature, shifting her position again. There was certainly no fear dwelling anywhere in her mind, only a distinct agitation with the way the world was treating her. On nights like these, it was almost impossible to get some sleep, with the fates and their talks of how soon she was to die.

Hell, she knew when her day would come, and it wasn't soon. All pink wolves died of old age - it was just the way things went. So she did her best to ignore their tauntings, and snoozed right through most of the howling winds. For now, however, it was a losing battle to the harsh skies above. She shuffled onto her feet, giving up the issue and going to take a stroll. Might as well make a night of it, even if the night wouldn't let her have her beauty rest.

It wasn't long before the sound of another's crashing feet reached her ears. She flicked her ears back, bickering mildly to herself. However, like most of her kind - the absolutely gorgeous - she couldn't furrow her brow for long. A look of placid nature washed over her face as she sat down to wait for whatever came lumbering her way.

She kept running, had to keep moving. Her body lithe and stretched out as if one part was trying to break free from the other. But before she knew what was going on, really truly knew, she had broken through some larger branches that waned off into a clear opening. She stopped suddenly, her heart still raising and her eye livid. She had stumbled on a teen fem instead of the comfort and security she thought would be there. Just a petty fem. Who.......would probably be in equal trouble.

"What is wrong with you?" Adriana hissed, her turled curled over her back in a sign of dominance. A display she instinctively put on oftentimes when she met another.

Her foot jangled with the metallic object cursed to ever be on her foreleg as she moved closer. "If you want to die, then stay.....but I suggest you move," the black and white wolf muttered.

Noyama flicked a lazy ear at the other, slamming it back to her skull as another gust of wind rushed sharply through it, tickling her hairs. "Merph," she muttered, though her protest was hardly audible, being silenced so greatly by the wind. The other was asking her what was wrong, but she held her tongue to answer, the other had quickly shown her assertion and the teen wasn't about to challange that. Not with the wild and crazed terror that was flicking through the others eyes, anyway. So for the moment, there was obviously something very wrong with Noyama, even if she didn't know quite what it was.

It took her several moments of air-battered time to realize that there was a strange growth growing on the wolf's leg. Several more moments later she found it wasn't a growth at all, but a rather shiny - and pretty - object clasped around the others foot. She looked at it dispairingly, and decided that she wanted it. Why should such a bland, and obviously crazy, wolf have such a nice thing chomped so wonderfully around her when Noyama herself had nothing? It was absolute treachery!

No sooner was she about to state thus, then the other when insane yet again, firing about complaints with every bit of sencerity as if she had lost a lover. Noyama shrugged and broke into a trot, following the other with as much give as a rebellious pup would to a mother. "Can I have that?" she questioned, her eyes glittering in the light of the silver thing around the others ankle.

"It certainly can't be very good with your running, clanking about on the ground like that." Her eyes never left the thing, but she somehow managed to keep pace with the other wolf and not fall. Yisoka probably wouldn't be too keen on her leaving, but at the moment she was too entranced to care.

Time was on the importance and this wolf was taking it at a turtle's notice. Adriana felt the fur on her body get riled up, wanting to growl and bite and perhaps even maul and kill. But she didn't. The other maybe gorgeous and in another time and place perhaps she would have held inappropiate eyes which would have caused nothing but trouble. But in this moment Adriana's fears directed what she felt and saw. She shook her head once at the annoyance the other's indifference to the oncoming horror and kept moving before she heard the question asked.

"It's horrible to run with," she admitted moving her graceful body swift and fast. Certain all the while that something was coming right behind her, but she wasn't crazed. Adriana had a sound mind and a confident persona to match. She just unwittingly took the howls of an oncoming and big storm as something that was threatening and terrifying in the shape of a creature.

"If you can get it off without injuring my leg in the process, then it's yours," she said quickly as she neared a cave for protection.

They just kept moving, running, running. Why, though? Noyama swiveled her head around, she could see nothing of danger, only a harsh wind nipping at her heels as she ran. Noyama pondered the other's words for a moment. If it was so bad to run with, perhaps she didn't want it. The other didn't seem to want to keep possession of it, either, suspicious. It was still so very pretty.

"What are we running from?" she called loudly against he screams of the wind. The trees were shaking more violently now, the air whipping about, tossing whatever tried to stay upon the limbs of the forest.

"I don't smell anything!" she said aloud, her eyes still scanning the dark, and almost eerie area. The storm promised to get worse, and despite her hatred for it, she knew shelter was necessary. It did her no good to die from being chilled to the bone from some unworthy storm.

Besides, now wasn't her place for death, and the wind would just have to follow by the rules.

Shelter. Where? She sniffed the air, but she couldn't locate anything. The trees were so twisted that the direction of home was securely locked away from her knowledge. Perhaps she shouldn't have come running blindly off with this other wolf. She could be so foolish at times.

"I don't know exactly.....that's more of why I'm running, " she said quickly as she entered the cave. The rain was beginning to dip down now, and not in tiny drizzling, it was coming in torrants. Adriana was thankful that she had made it just in time, but now that she had entered the cave she turned around and peered outwards, expecting some large burly creature to come barrowling out to get them. When it didn't Adrian's brow showed her confusion.

"I.....I could have sworn something was coming," she said in confusion.

Noyama waited for a time at the edge of the cave, watching as the wolf looked out in a confused fashion. She let out a yawn to show that she was not impressed. She wasn't sure what the other wolf was expecting, but it obviously didn't come. She had hoped the other would be relieved that it wasn't still following them, but instead she seemed almost dissapointed.

"The water isn't too clear where you come from is it?" she questioned, coming to stand beside the black and white femme.

Still, what Noyama couldn't fathom the most was that the other wolf had run from something she hadn't known. If it had been her, she would have investigated it, not fled as fast as she possibly could. It could have been friendly, but most of all, it could have had food. Not that Noy couldn't hunt for herself, but she enjoyed being lazy when she got the chance.

She shook her head, her eyes still studying the place where she had just run from. It was only when the other fem sat close that she let her eyes tick over before a soft little cry escaped her maw. One couldn't be certain what cry it was, only that it was a mix between annoyance and surprise. As if a distant memory had wormed it's way into her head and she wanted it out. But she shook her head to clear the thoughts and let out a deep sigh as she watched the rain come down harder.

"I come from a very bad place," she said quietly, remembering the lands she had made a promise never to return to.
