Q. What is Whuddleworld? How do I get here? A. Whuddleworld is like Gaia, you can create a Whuddle and dress it with the clothes you find in the shops, participate in the forums and in the events and do more things... Check it out here.
Q. What are the WhuddleBeans an how do I earn them? And where I use them? A. WhuddleBeans are the currency on WW, and you earn them through: -Voting on polls. A new poll will come out every Monday at the bottom of the Main Page, and you will be able to vote on it and earn 250 WBs. There isn't a correct answer, just vote for the option that you like best. -Posting a new message on the Blah Blah Blah Boards, which is WW's Forum. This will earn you 5 WBs. You find Blah Blah Blah Boards by clicking on the sign in the World map. There are only five subforums, but others will be relased during holidays and new topics will appear for new events. You will see some topics of the BBB Boards with a little star, which is the citzienship level you should have for being able to post in that topic. -Posting a short message on the Babble Board, in the Main Page, will earn you 25 WBs. Currently unavailable, because the Babble Board is now called Buzz Board, and you can read on it new Citziens registrations or announcements if other Citziens will solve an event. -Posting on a friend's private forum in their Omnibus. This will give you a variable amount of WBs. -Contests or Events. The "Where oh Where are the Shops?" Quest gives you 2500 WBs when completed, and "Charlie and Chelsea's Back to School Scavenger Hunt" gives you 3000WBs when completed. Currently unavailable, because WW isn't going through any event at the moment. You spent your WBs in shops, at the Bottom Bazaar, in the Flea Market, for Telephone Calls and when you send mail to your friends.
Q. Why is my Whuddle Wafer gone? A. Elders have removed the Wafer because soon there will be quests to grant you money, so you will not need the Wafer anymore. Quests will be probably launched soon, but Quest System Beta Testers are already trying them! If you want to know something more about Wafer, check this!
Q. How do I get clothes and awards? A. You get clothes through events/contests and purchasing them in the shops in Whuddleville or at the Bottom Bazaar, and there were/are numerous awards that you can/could get. Those links are pretty useful: Shop Items List, Special Items List and Awards List.
Q. What's my WhuddleBean History, in WW's Bank? A. The Whuddlebean history shows your recent WhuddleBean Activity: the things you buy and how much you paid them, the correct answers you gave to the Trivia Quiz, your weekly interest... but the bank will not show you anything if you donate the wafer every day.
Q. How do I contact my friends? A. Using the telephone. Is easy, just: -Go to the World map. -Click on the blue telephone booth. -Insert your money (100WBs) by clicking on the fissure above the bell-shaped objects. -Click on the black thing on the right side. -Type your number by clicking the buttons. -Wait until a text box appears. -Type in the text box the message you want to send and click submit. This method costs you 100WBs, and it was the only contact system in WW before Mail's arrival. Mail is easy too, just: -Click the mail symbol in the World Map (the symbol is a letter). -Click "Write a letter" in the upper left corner. -Type the name of one of your Whuddle Friends in the upper left corner text box and click "Search". A popup should appear. -Click submit and wait till the popup disappear, then type a subject in the text box under the username. -Type the message in the large box. -Click "Prepare to mail". 50WBs will be taken from your money for the stamp. *This part is not necessary: you can use the below tips to decorate your message, before clicking "prepare to mail"* -If you have got pens, you can select them from the upper right corner. If you use pens, you can type your message in different colors. Remember that pens will run out over time. -You can select a different type of paper by vlicking the "Change" button in the upper right corner. You will see the different types of paper you own. Click on them, then click "OK". -You can also put stickers in your message. Click one of the little squares and you will see the stickers you own. Select one and click "OK".
Q. What is a Whuddle? A. A Whuddle is the Avatar that you use in WW. It's a mix between a lion, a bear and a monkey (in my opinion). In WW you get to dress it up and buy him/her clothes/accessories.
Q. How do I get to Northeast Whuddleville? A. By clicking the arrow on the right side of Whuddleville's screen. There are only two shops opened there.
Q. Where are the shops? A. The shops are in Whuddleville, the heart of WW. The shops now opened are: -Civvies. Click on the skyscraper in a corner, then click Civvies. Cyndi Loo owns Civvies, and she sells clothes, jewelry and accessories. -Violet's salon. Click on the light blue house with a grey roof. Violet, the only hairdresser in WW, owns it. There you can purchase various hair cuts for your Whuddle and recolour oyur hair, or purchase other things like special sprays or wigs. -Rotes and Notes. Click on the first door of the only house with two doors, in Whuddleville's lower left corner. Braden, who sells Backgrounds for your Whuddle avatar and also bookmarks for your Omnibus and mailing supplies, owns it. -The Bottom Bazaar. This is a really particular shop. It isn't always in WW, sometimes you find it on the World map. Liam Bluebottom, Hilda Pinkbottom and Gobban Greenbottom owns it. It sells clothes, accessories and backgrounds, but you can't enter without a token: you have to pay it to Fearghus, a Whuddle who stops you when you try to enter and asks for the token. If you have it, Fearghus take it and you can enter, but if you haven't it Fearghus don't let you enter. If you enter the Bazaar and then exit, you can enter again when you want without paying. You find the tokens required on the ground, before the bazaar arrives. You can hold more than one token in your inventory at the same time. -The Post Office. Well, it isn't like a normal shop, at the Post Office you can check/send your messages to friends. Mayal Stamp owns it. It sells sheets of paper that you can't find in Rotes and Notes and also sells boxes for your gifts. -The Flea Market. To enter, click Doug Barter, the fellow with the purple tie, who owns it. At the Flea Market you can sell the items that you don't need or purchase the items the other Whuddles want to sell. If you're lucky, you can also find DDs items if you're unable to purchase them. -The Sponsor Shop in the Worldmap. Owned by Azad. He will give you a sponsor item when WhuddleWorld founds a sponsor! -Plain Stitches. This shop is owned by Capri Capella, a nice Whuddle who sells the starter items! You find Plain Stitches in Northeast Whuddleville, the shop with pink tents. -The Curiosity Shoppe. Well, here you can find a lot of accessories and cool decorations for your Whuddletar! Northeast Whuddleville, shop with green tents. Own by Alvin Gyft.
Q. Where can I buy mails/friends increments? A. Just visit your friend page in your Omnibus, you should find a little DazzleDabs icon, click on it for the friend increment. For the mailing one, click the letter icon near your Whuddle in the world map and then click "Preferences" at the bottom of the screen. Then click the DazzleDabs icon and buy!
Q. How much should I pay or those increments? And how much of them I can buy? A. The mailing one costs 10 DD and allows you to hold 25 more messages. You can buy 6 mailing increments, for a total of 200 messages. The friend increment costs 15 DD and allows you to have 10 more friends. You can purchase 10 of them, for a total of 200 friends.
Q.How do I purchase DazzleDabs and their charms? A. In the main page you can find a picture of the current charms, below the link to the DDs Purchase page. There are four packages types: the twinkling package (15 DDs, 3 $. You can purchase it and receive also 5 Bonus DDs or the Summer Yums Hot Dog Charm), the glimmering package (25 DDs, 5 $. You can purchase it and receive also 5 Bonus DDs or the Summer Yums Lemonade Charm), the shimmering package (50 DDs, 10 $. You can purchase it and receive also 5 Bonus DDs or the Summer Yums Watermelon Charm) and the glittering package (75 DDs, 15 $. You can purchase it and receive also 5 Bonus DDs or the Summer Yums Ice Cream Charm). Then click the button "Order".
Q. How do I purcase a copy of the WWC? A. Go to the Pencil Company in Whuddleville (is the brown building with a big pencil above it) and click the newspapers rack on the right of the screen. It will probably tell you "The rack is empty right now." This means that there isn't yet an issue of the newspaper for that month. Otherwise, it will tell you if you want to purchase a copy of the WWC. This costs 200WBs. Okay, if you can't purchase it from the rack, we will click on the WPC (WhuddleWorld Personal Computer) that is standing on the left desk. From this PC, you can purchase old issues if you missed them, with a fee of 50WBs. Well, this isn't very much fee, now it isn't?
Q. How do I use the Flea Market? A. This is very easy actually. If you are intentioned to sell, make sure to carry the items you want to sell. Then go to the Flea Market, in the bottom right corner of WhuddleVille. Click the guy in the middle of the screen, the one with the tie. His name is Doug Barter. Doug will ask you if you want to sell or if you want to purchase other people's items. Let's choose SELL. Now, you should choose if you want to open a table, a stall or a shop. The diversity are these: a table costs 1200WBs, it will be opened for six hours and you can stock five items, no alternates; the stall costs 2400WBs, it will be opened for 12 hours, you can stock ten items and five alternates; the stall costs 5400WBs, it will be opened for 24 hours and you can stock fifteen items and fifteen alternates. What are alternates? They are items that will pop up from your shop if the other items that you have previously stocked are gone. Obviously, you have to choose them too. When you have chosen a shop, you get to choose from eight different types of categories for your shop. Then you will choose a text. Your Whuddletar will tell that phrase to everyone, when they will visit your shop. Now, it's time to choose an icon. If you have chosen the table, you can't put an icon. If you have chosen the stall, you can choose a circle. If you have chosen the shop, you can choose a star. Ok, we're almost there. If you check the button below everything, only your friends will have the possibility to buy items from your shop. Then, click "Save and continue to shop stock." Click an item from your inventory on the right (remember: that is only your carried inventory!). That item will appear on the middle. Type in a price and click "Add stock." When you have finished, click "Save." In the next page, You can choose to: open your shop, close your shop or preview my shop. If you want to SHOP, you will see the list of the currently opened shops. Click on one of them to start shopping. If your store is opened too, you will see it highlighted in yellow.
Q. How do I gain citizenship? And why I need it? A. Citzienship levels are Bronze Star, Silver Star, Gold Star and Platinum Star. You obtain citzienship by being active on WW, logging in every day, answering at Elder Brogen Daily Trivia Quiz (not possible anymore) and partecipating in events, which may boost citizenship. You also need Bronze Star if you want to join a club and Gold Star to start a new club. You need a lot of time to reach higher levels, and you may lose citizenship if you aren't active for a lot or if you go to the Hoosegow.
Q. What are the igloo, the hut on the beach, Apple Acres and Nature's Nook? A. They are the unreleased maps that are still closed. You can visit Apple Acres, even if it isn't opened yet. In some items' descriptions, they talk about Nature's Nook and Jib's Apothecary. The hut and the igloo haven't got a name yet.
Q. How do I gain a Sponsorship Point? A. Go to the Sponsor Shop and take a Remington Shopping List, if you haven't still got it. Now examine it and you'll gain a point. You can take one only if you haven't one. Azad will give you a turkey leg or a candy cane too.
Q. What's the "power" of the Apple Bob's apples? A. There are three kinds of apples: -red ones, they do nothing; -rotten ones, they gives you a wart on your face even if you don't want it (if you dislike the warts, just go to Violet's Salon and buy some Wart Removal Solution: it only costs 50WBs and there are illimited supplies, so there are always Solutions in stock. Apply it - one solution is one dose - and you'll get rid of that disgusting warts!); -golden ones, they give you a prize. The prizes are: an eye patch, identical to the one already stocked in Civvies, but with crossing bones on it, a cute Ghost Plooshie, a set of paper and a sticker. For the info, just check this topic.
Q. How do I get a Referral Point for Charlie and Chelsea's Referral Rally? A. You get a point when your friend successfully registers him/herself to WW, complete their Orientation Quiz and became an official citizen and gain 2500 WBs.
Q. How do I get a Happy Holidays Stocking like the ones I've seen around on many Whuddletar's side? A. Just visit the worldmap: you will see Santa Whuddle giving you that stocking. Just hang it up on your Whuddletar's side and go back visiting it on X-Mas Day: you will see the presents from Santa!
Q. What are snowballs? A. Snowballs were part of a looong event that was released on January 2006. People, by walking around, was able to find snowballs and to throw them to random people. The winners (Top 50 Snowball throwers/hitten) received an award. Hitten Whuddletars were covered with smushed snowballs. If you don't use your snowballs, they melt into a puddle. this happens even when you throw them: you get a smushed snowball that will slowy melt into a puddle. Sometimes, when throwing a snowball, you got some coins or, if you were even more lucky, you find an ornament to hang to your Whuddletar.
Q. How do I get Thanksgiving items? A. Simply by stepping on the world map on Thanksgiving Day. You will find Farmer Noggin who gives you a dinner and another item: a beckground with roasted turkey, a frame with leafs, a green pumpkin or a turnip.
Q. My food is going to spoil: what does this mean? A. By looking at some items, you will notice that they're Edible Items. You can eat them, even if this won't give you anything, donate them (sometiumes you get some WBs by doing this) or simply leave them alone. If you choose to do nothing, your food will start to spoil. It slowy goes bad, and after some days you will see its icon with a strange fog. This means that the item is spoiling. After some time, the food will rot and then disappear. WhuddleWorld doesn't give you a warning, so if you don't see your food, this mean that they're already spoiled.
Q. How do I protect my foos from spoiling? A. Simply by putting them into a cooler. You find them at The Gift Shoppe in Northeast Whuddleville. A cooler is a container, and it guarantee you not to spoil food in it. This is very useful. there are three kinds of them.
Q. What's the "Whoodle Search"? A. The Whoodle Search is located on the world map and on Whuddleville, just under your Whuddletar's picture. You can type in the textbox a word, and then select if you want to search an item or an user. If you have selected Item, the Whoodle Search will find every item with the word that you've just typed in in its name. If there is only an item with that word in its name, you will directly see the picture and the description of the item. If it's a wereable, you can also make a research of the people that are wearing it. You can also see if anyone is selling it at the Flea Market. If there are more than one item with that word in their name, you will see the list of them. Just click on one name to see picture, description etc. If you was searching a name, the Whoodle Search will find every whuddle with that ord in its name. you can also see if they're on/offline, their address (coming soon) and their telephone number.
Q. What are the skill points? A. We don't know for sure, they are not released yet. Maybe the ones who are in Quest System Beta Testing knows, but they will probably will used with pets, housekeeping and probably QUESTS!
Q. What's a sticker package? A. It's a package that you can buy in Rotes 'n' Notes, and it contains some various stickers. While it's closed, it only takes a slot of your inventory. If you decide to open it, you'll get all the stickers and the package will gone.
Q. The crane game? What is it? Where do I find it? What can I win? A. It's the only game in WhuddleWorld that may give you a prize. Once a day, every Whuddle can go to the Arcade (located near the Flea Market, it's the tiny square building) and click the machine with the blobs. Click the fissure to insert 100 coins and try to win a prize... If you're lucky. Prizes are cute little blobs called "Capelkas". You can view them in the special items list. There are 6 commons Capelkas, and two mysterious prizes, one of the two mysterious prizes is a cute Panda... Try your luck at the crane Game!WhuddleWorld All graphics (Unless otherwise stated) used in this topic ? 2005, 2006 WhuddleWorld, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Used With Permission.
