Few musicians are as brilliant, talented, and utterly ******** up as the late Del Shannon. Paranoid, spiteful, possibly bipolar, Shannon shot himself in the head with a rifle back before suicide was passe. His music, while to the first listen sounds like simple 60's pop, In fact experiments with rhythm, arragement, and a variety of other aspects of composition and music. One of the more covered artists of his era, Shannon shot himself while recording a comeback album more than ten years ago. Today, his music is still forgotten and obscure, despite the very real and sincere emotions it conveys.
You guys like anyone obscure and/or old?

They are this old band that kind of had a few radio semi-hits in the '60s/'70s. They couldn't play their instruments at all. People like them because of the sense of innocnence in the lyrics. They would kind of just beat on their instruments and make noises with the lyrics to their songs, which were about many different things, like Haloween, their kid philosophies, and their pal foot-foot.
