These are the guild rules.
Just like the main page says, there really aren't any major ones. Just follow all Gaia rules, and type properly. If you somehow got in and yet you don't type in proper English, you will be warned. You will get two warnings. On your third offense, you will be banned. I really hope not to have to do that to anyone.
There is a guide to what I want to see out of you English-wise in the next post.
Also, let's play nice. No fighting with or being rude to other guild members.
There aren't any rules pertaining to posting threads. Just make sure there aren't any other recent threads like the one you're making. It's not a horrible offense if you do, it's just annoying.

Using Correct English
I don't really mind about capitalization and punctuation (which, please TRY to use, but if you are using correct English otherwise I can deal) as much as word usage and spelling. I know you can avoid using "u" and "r" and the like. Buuut... there are somethings that really DO bother me.
Your and You're
The word "your" is posessive. As in, "That is your bike."
"You're" is a contraction of "you are." As in, "You're looking very nice today."
Your and you're are NOT interchangeable. When in doubt, change "your" to "you are" and see if it still makes sense. If it doesn't, "your" is right. If it does, you should be using "you're."
---
There, Their, and They're
"There" should only be used in a location sense, or something that is or things that are. As in "That tree over there is pretty" or "There are five flowers in that vase."
"Their" is posessive, like "your." Only you're talking about more than one person. As in, "It's their problem if they don't like you."
"They're" is a contraction of "they are." Talking about multiple people and what they are doing. As in, "They're going out to eat tonight."
There, their, and they're are like your and you're. They are not interchangeable. "There" does not work for all of them.
If you'd like to stay in my guild, please use the correct words. If it's hard for you, let me know. But at least try to get it right.

Rules for Crew Members
So far the only extra rules are to only edit posts for fun in the Crew Powerabuse Thread and to not make stickies or announcements without asking me first.
Of course, you can still edit posts outside of that thread if it's for a purpose, like if someone's stretching the page with their post. And I'll probably let you make that sticky or announcement. Just ask first, okay? I don't want a bunch of pointless stickies.

[ Static Discharge ] I like how you explain your/you're and there/their/they're.. good job, better than my freshman english teacher. I actually did that really quick. sweatdrop I'm hoping it's rather clear. But most people I'd invite or accept here wouldn't need to use it anyway. So thanks! heart

AHH GOOOD. i HATE it when people mess those things up. i only do it on aim, really, because i'm stupid and type reallyfast on aim. sweatdrop
it's/its is easy to remember. surprised contractions always have apostrophes - "it's" being short for "it is", it gets an apostrophe. posessive pronouns dun have apostrophes - think hers/his/theirs. its dun get an apostrophe. :]

This girl was making fun of some n00b and was like, "Your spelling and grammar is bad." Or something like that. With the is. Then someone's like, "Thank you!" and she says, " Your welcome. That's what comes from being a perfectionist and a literate." And I'm like, " gonk "
