Ivory fur, light green marks under her eyes, the triple v scar on her hind leg and tail flicking behind her, Malika'eusi was wandering the edges of the Oasis border lines. Her stomach was heavy making each step painful if she moved too fast.
Moonlight shone down making the damp grass shimmer as she gazed at it, halting for only a moment before continuing to walk. It was just like that night however many moons ago, when she had come across a god.
The memory made her smile

K'Anatak had come down from the clouds this night, walking upon the dew covered grass, a smile upon his maw, he was close to that place he had met that lovely white lioness with the light green that accented her pelt so wonderfully. He wondered if she was nearby, it had been so long since he had last seen her. Malika was her name, he remembered it well, for he always remembered his friends names.
He had come back to visit her. He wished to see how she was doing, yes, it would be nice to see how Malika has been since his last time seeing her.

The females gaze shifted from the grass to what was infront of her, that was when she saw the form of another, one with wings. A smile instantly came to Malika's face and her thoughts went straight to K'Anatak. However her pace could not change without causing pain to her swelling belly.
Instead she cleared her throat and called out "K'Anatak is that you?" She had not forgotten his name, it was a hard one to forget especially since everytime she took a walk the the one she was currently on she would remember meeting him.

K'Anatak's black eyes looked on and saw the white form of another. A smile upon his maw, had to be Malika. As soon as he heard his name called out, he knew it to be true, he padded towards her without stopping. As he got nearer he slowed down adn halted a feet feet from her. She had changed since before, older now, and her belly, was she with cubs?
"Malika, so nice to see you again, how have you been my friend?" he asked soothingly. He looked her over, she seemed fine, except for some strange scars upon her, v's? Quite strange, perhaps they meant something he did not know.

"It is extremely nice to see you again too my friend" Malika replied with one of her soft smiles. Then he asked her how she had beem. That caused her to remain silent for a moment or two thinking it over, she was in slight pain because of the cubs and for a few other reasons that she wouldn't want to go into detail or explain, even if it was just for herself. Clearing her throat she answered him, "I have been fine, K'Anatak, the cubs I'm carrying do like to cause me some troubles, but other than that I have been fine."
Another pause before she posed the question to the god "How have you been?" It had been a long time since she had seen him and it was a relief to.

K'Anatak's heart warmed when she said she was with cubs. How nice it must be to know she would bring life into this world, that she would have a family and children. "That is wonderful my dear, I congratulate you and their father. Truly a wonderful thing to bring and have a family in this world surely it is..."
He curled his wings tighter about himself and sighed, perhaps he would have a family, perhaps. Her question brought him to think, and he had to be truthful to her and himself, "I am a bit worried I am afraid, I feel like he is getting too close, yet I cannot feel where he is...my brother...we are not on good terms. But surely that will pass as well."
He flicked his tail and smiled a continuous smile, "Have you thought of any names for the dear cubs?"

"And I thank you my friend." Malika replied warmly to him. She was excited for the cubs to come, that much was true but she was also worried that the father of her cubs would not be around enough since he always seemed to be somewhere other than the pridelands she called home, however she said nothing of it.
"Perhaps, although you are not on the best terms with your brother you should confront him? It is not a good thing to always be looking behind your shoulder wondering when he will come and possibly attack." A pause followed this before Malika continued in her soft tone of voice. "Though I do not have experience with that sort of thing so my advice is most likely not the best for you to follow, after all I do not want to see my friend hurt."
The pale female took a careful seat as to not upset the cubs in her belly. "I have, I like the name Zagaa'Tamanio, along with Chau....I'm not entirely sure yet though."

"Yes, perhaps one day I will confront him...and this feud might lay to rest..." K'Anatak smiled when she heard the names she was thinking of. To think, not that long ago, she was just into adulthood, now look at her, she was going to have a family.
"All of them are lovely names, I'm sure your cubs will be quite darling," he said with a nod and a flick of his tail. Oh yes, how new life affected their parents and how they would affect the world. Who knows, perhaps one of her children would become a seer one day.
That would be lovely for her and the child.

"I wish the best for you, K'Anatak, I hope that you and your brother can work things out without violence." The young adult told the god, she did not know of the others brother very well so she could not predict how he would act or if he would be violent towards her friend, she could only really hope for the best.
"Thank you, I just hope that my children will come to apreciate what the have and not want things that are....pointless, but only time will tell." Malika spoke partly lost in thought. The lioness wanted her children to make a difference but she didn't want them seeking too high only to fall.
If one of her children became a seer things would be interesting for her and the child, although she had met Koka, who was a seer she did not know of what a seer really was since unknown to her Angamika was but a fake seer.

He was wishing for the best too. K'Anatak felt like he would see his brother sooner then later, which made him be on edge about everything. He tried resting during the day now, to be awake during the night. He knew his brother all too well, that if he wanted violence, he would attack in the dark.
His brother's pelt could become one with the night's shadows.
"They should appreciate what they will have my friend, and you can teach them all there is to know, you will be a great mother..." he was sure of it. She was a kind lioness, he knew she would do just fine.

"I can only hope so, K'Anatak...." A slight blush crossed her features but faded quickly when he told her she would be a great mother. "Thank you.....I hope that their father will be around much more than he has been...." He had told her that he would be around, but he never said how often it would be.
Her pale fur has a soft glow to it in the moonlight as she looked at him "Have you considered being a father?"

"I'm sure he will, with you and bundles of joy coming, he should love to see and be around your cubs," he said smiling. K'Anatak pulled his wings close to him, was absent, dwelling in thoughts of his mind for a few moments. Would he like to be a father? Did he ever think of it?
Yes...more times then any would ever know.
"I have Malika, but it seems for one as me, things don't always go in my favor...I've always wanted a family of my own but..." he wondered if his father would ever approve of him just settling with anyone, probably not a mortal, his father would probably hate that. "I would fear my brother might hurt those I care for..."
His thoughts then went to that of Momo...
He missed her.

"One can never be too sure though...He has not been around too much, not lately it seems, it causes me to worry." A sigh escaped her maw after she finished speaking. Lately everything seemed to make her on egde, perhaps it was just that she seemed to spend her days alone more now than ever. Shaking her head mentally she listened to her companions words.
"I am sure that you will have a family soon enough." She then nodded letter her violet eyes meet his. "You should not let fear geting in the way of how you feel about others, even though your brother may try there is no garentee that he will suceed and if you are there for them, I know that you will be their protection..."
The talk about families reminded her of Angamika but she quickly pushed him from her thoughts "I am sure that whoever you come to love....will want to be with you regardless of whether or not it puts them in danger."

"I'm sure everything will be alright Malika..." K'Anatak spoke soothingly, he didn't want her to worry. A worrying mother-to-be would not do well on the cubs, too much stress would not be good for unborn life. Malika needed to relax.
"Perhaps," perhaps he might one day have a family. Hopefully his father would approve, his brother would stay away, and K'Anatak could be happy and not be alone, no longer needing to wander trying to find somewhere to belong.
K'Anatak wanted to belong somewhere.

"I believe that you are right, after all worrying will do me no good will it?" She let out a laugh that was slightly strained but barely. It would do her no good to stress herself out over such silly things.
"When you do have children, you will bring them to visit me yes?" Malika then asked him with a hopeful smile upon her maw. She knew that whenever the god found the girl he was looking for that they would have beautiful children. "Whenever you find the girl perfect for you, you'll have to introduce me to her."
