I have no idea how he did it, but my brother somehow managed to get my dad to buy him a sword replica. He bought it at Mediaval Times where we were attending a Christmas party held by the company my dad's girlfriend works for. The sword's supposed to be a Christmas present/souvenir... sweatdrop .
I have to admit, though, it's a really nice sword. I think it's a broadsword with a 1 meter long blade, and the hilt has a really nice design. The sword even has a name: Excalibur.
What's even crazier is that my brother was actually considering buying the much larger claymores; they're almost as big as I am. Ugh, our mom is NOT going to be too pleased about this XD.

Those things are awesome, but the good ones are crazy-expensive. There's a cutlery shop that sells replicas and a few gems >.>
Their currently displayed item is an actual 1700's japanese katana, but I can't guarantee it's authenticity. I always have to drag Zen away from the store window when we walk by it xd
I'm ont even kidding

......Somehow I believe it. xd That sooooo reminds me of my friend, Tortilla. She has a switchblade that my sister gave her, and she can do the awesome flip-the-blade-around-your-hand-but-don't-cut-yourself-thingy!!! It's so cool. But I get really scared. domokun heart domokun

I have a katana, a beatstick, boken and shinai. I've had them ever since I started Kendo. But then I had to quit because gas was expensive and I didn't have the money for the bogu.
