So I ordered Lydia and now I'm just waiting on her to get here. I will use this thread to mark her progress toward completion, the United States, Tennessee, and finally, my house!

Well, Elfdoll does their stuff in periods. The first half of the month they take orders and the second part of the month they ship out orders. The second half just started so she should be leaving soon and It's estimated at best she'll arrive in about 2 weeks after they've confirmed her shipment. It's been a week and shipment has NOT been confirmed.
In other news: The eyes I want for her are sold out, so I'll have to order from somewhere else. I ordered her wig and it should get here in about 2 weeks as well.

two weeks seems like a really long time for a doll to arrive after they've been shipped. Usually doll companies ship via EMS and it only takes a week at the outside most. The longest I've had to wait for a doll after they had been shipped was 6 days and that was because it was spread over a weekend (and it sat in customs for 2 days for no apparent reason).
(Not to be confused, of course, with the time it will take to get the doll shipped. The longest I've had to wait for that was 5 weeks for a DOD doll and a head)

Oh, I know that. I think she's coming through standard shipping but I can't be sure. All I know is that she hasn't shipped and from what people are telling me, she might not arrive until the end of January. They ship in order of the orders received and I ordered toward the end of the order period so she might not even make this shipping period.

Yeah, it does stink, but it can't be helped. I'm just dealing with it the best I can.

Damn, she was misrouted and ended up in like Milwaukee or something. They say that they are correcting the problem and getting her to me as fast as possible.
