Dr. Smith sat at the front desk stared despondantly at the door. Snow had fallen and Christmas was just around the corner. Although he knew that it was just another pagan holiday stolen by the Catholic Church something deep inside couldn't help sending up a prayer that this season of miracles would bring their lost leader back to them.
((This is for the toddlers and scrolls to help look for clues to where they brought Nara. Scrolls cannot communicate save between themselves. IE: Reul can talk to Phyrrus and Gray))

Aurora walked in to the office she had talked to some of her researcher friends to find some one to help her and just her luck one of her buddies had herd of this place. on her back was a poster tube that was sealed around the caps with tape so that it would not get any thing in to there. she pushed back her messy dirty blond hair as she looked around. "hello is any one here?" she asked softly

Aurora herd a sigh and then saw a man at a desk waving for her to come over. She walked over to him her foot steeps were soft once she was in front of the desk she stopped. "Hello, my name is Aurora Eveningstar, I am here because I was told that some one here could help me with this scroll I was sent. " She took the case off her back so that he could see it.

Dr. Smith nodded distractedly at the woman. "Well... Why don't we go into some of the research rooms and take a look?" Tapping in a code at the computer the old man stepped down the raised platform.
Silently he escorted the woman through hallway after hallway, door after door until she couldn't find where anything was. Finally the man placed his hand on a door and pushed it open. When it swung open they stepped into the bottom floor of a large circular room whose ceiling was lost in the darkness.
"Why don't you poke around in the books for a while why I take a look at your scroll," Dr. Smith suggested holding his hand out for the case.

Aurora Fallowed Dr. smith over to the platform. "ok?" she was not sure but then being sent a sent a mysterious scroll by her teacher/ mentor who had gone missing. Nothing really surprised her any longer.
As they walked though the halls Aurora tried to keep track of were she was but every hall way looked the same. "I wonder how many people got lost around here." before she knew it they had come to a huge circular room.
Aurora looked at his out stretched hand. "Sir, I know you have experience in things like This Scroll and ancient text. But that does not hide the fact that you have yet to introduce your self or tell me what is going on exactly?"She held the case close to her self.

Dr. Smith blinked at the woman. He hadn't? "I didn't?" He bleated out bewildered. "Of course I must have." He waved away her concern. "But if it means that much to you, I'll repeat myself. I'm Dr. Smith, a researcher here at the Royal Library. You wanted someone to take a look at the scroll right?"
He guessed that was what she meant by what was going on. It was impossible that anyone else had an idea these scrolls were around. He was, alas, the last Historian.. and only by dint of the fact that he knew Nara. So much knowlege had been lost..

Aurora chucked she understood that he might have forgotten or she might not have herd him but then he must have other things on his mind. "Ahh so you must be the Dr. Smith my friends told me about." she guessed she could trust him though she was not sure that she wanted to. She held the scroll case in her hands and put it out to him.
"please be careful with it."

"Of course, of course..." he muttered distractedly dissapearing around the end of the isle. All that was left for the woman to do was to poke around the shelves, full of ancient texts.

Aurora sighed. "good luck" she whispered as she went in to look though the isles of books. One of the Ancient Texts cough her eye and she carefully pulled it out and started to read it.

The naga slithered awkwardly through the built-up snow, her movements made difficult by the multiple layers of clothing she wore as well as the squirming infant in her arms. Winter was Guinevere’s least favourite time of year, resulting from the snake like qualities in her appearance and in her veins, and it served to make the woman fair more sluggish and considerably less wary and alert then she would be during warmer weather. “We’re almosssst there Aya” Guinevere spoke, her tone expression the lack of energy and tiredness racking her body. Pushing open the heavy door with her free arm and shoulder, Guinevere breathed a sigh of relief at the marked change in temperature and felt her body renew at the sudden warmth.
Within her mother’s pallid arms Aya too seemed to settle; taking instead to grinning with unrestrained excitement at the strange new environment in which she found herself. Just like the image she had represent as a scroll, Aya embodied the brightness of rainbows, the notion that despite the darkness of the storm there is always something cheerful and pleasant, something renewing, awaiting you on the other side. The infant was always bright, cheerful and optimistic, and Guinevere had yet to see a frown darken Aya’s lips and held onto the hope that perhaps this would always be the case.
Approaching the front desk, which the naga noted was curiously vacant, Guinevere’s pallid brow furrowed and her crimson eyes narrowed. The woman had come to express her condolences at the loss of Nara, having heard murmurings of her kidnapping, as well as to calm the sudden anxiety that had welled within her at the news – namely about whether Aya, and other scroll children, could also be danger.
A shiny glint caught Aya’s attention as her mother glanced around distractedly, prompting the girl to lean forward and bang sharply upon the object in her attempts to grasp it. In response the domed shape gave a loud trill, much to the infant’s delight, and was quickly pressed several more times which firmly identified the object as a bell.

Sitting next to the text was an almost familar looking scroll case. Like the case Aurora had, it was the same dimensions and and color. However, parts of it looked as if it had been petrified into a gray stone.
A black gloved hand placed itself over the bell and infant's hand. Nara's silent partner gestured to the woman without a word, silently inquiring her purpose.

Aurora looked over the book she had been looking at to see the strange case. "huh I though I gave you to Dr. Smith." she said as she rn her hand lightly over it. when she felt something off. "It feals like it is stone but." she felt strap and shook her head. she then gently tapped it with her fingers it felt like leather when she tapped it but tapping on the top she felt it not give like the other part had. "odd."

Aya’s eyes widened and the infants mouth shifted into an ‘o’ of surprise as a hand was placed over hers and the delightful ringing sound ceased. Despite the cloaked figure that greeted the girl as she lifted her gaze, a seemingly familiar and knowing smile beamed across her visage. Wriggling her hand from beneath the silent spectres, Aya giggled and made grabbing motions in the direction of Mr Mysterious.
“I heard about the kidnapping” Guinevere replied as she was prompted by the man, “and I came to expressss my condolencessss and to have my nagging quesssstionssss ansssswered”. With an unwavering expression, the naga waited for a response or to be taken to someone who would provide her with the answers she was seeking.

Mr. Mysterious, danced his fingers away from the girl, playing a strange sort of game of tag. Every time her finger got close, his 'walked' away. Then they waited for Aya to come try and catch them again.
The man nodded breifly, before gesturing for the naga to follow him. Instead of taking the long way around, like Dr. Smith had, he simply turned down the hall labeled "Musaeum". Once in the spherical room he turned to an faded marble statue. It was impossible to place any features on the face as it was only the merest hint of depth. Draped in cloth it was even impossible to tell whether it was male or female. Reaching over, he triggered the secret entrance.
From there, he lead her down a hallway, stopping about halfway to trigger yet another hidden door. Down the staircase they went, twisting and turning until they came out on the bottom floor of a large circular room. Gesturing to the woman to wait at one of the rows, one holding another woman, Mr. Mysterious drifted off to find Dr. Smith.
