I would normally be roleplaying about now, but I'm sick of it for some reason. Too many bad experiences, I guess. No one seems to know how to develop their characters.

Hehe.
I rarely make 'em nowadays.
Everyone's all into the "Naurot RP!", "Girls Trapped in a vampire boys mansion!" and the yaoi/yuri stuff the gets all depressing and no fun.
It's a rarity that anybody joins mine when I make them, so I find myself roleplaying over PMs with some friends.

I have a general disdain for group RPs most of the time, so I almost always do one-on-ones. I have one yaoi one going, but it doesn't suck, for once.

I prefer group roleplays to one-on-ones, but that'll probably change in the kinda near future.

Talking can be a good thing but a bad thing as well. Most people have diffrent minds not many have the same you might say a good thing to a person and another person might hate it.

Yes, but talking in general is a good thing.
Interaction between two or more minds develops the ability to reason amongst one's own species, and gives one the ability to interact on different levels.
Once that's done talking allows the mind discern between its likes and dislikes, see?

Talking is fun when you interject random things which then cause everyone to go off topic and even more so. Until you forget how you ended up talking about a certain subject in the first place. Its especially entertaining when you backtrack through all that was said ^_^

I remember one time me and some friends of mine got to talking.
We talked about how cool Inuyasha was.
And then we got to talking about the different swords in the series and which one would be cool to have.
And then we started talking about japanese dress.
And THEN we started talking about places where we would want to live in Japan.
AND THEN we got to talking about how cool it would be to own a replica of Inuyasha's sword and live somewhere in Japan.
-AND THEN- we started talking about places we'd like to go visit someday
And then we were like, "How on earth did we get to this oO?"
