Well, when I was about 10 I woke up one night to find it pitch black in my room, a strang thing considering we lived in the heart of the city. But it wasn't just that it was dark, it was like... like waking up in living tar. The blackness heavy and thick, and utterly consious.
It encompassed me, and then it attacked me. It bit and clawed at me with invisable teeth and nails. But the strang thing was I wasnt afraid. It was as though while it attacked me we were one... It's hard to explain but it was as if, I understood it, and knew it, and it knew me, like the physical atack had no malice, no hatred, no threat... after only a little while though I passed out.
When I woke up the next morning I though, like most people would, that it was just a dream, but when I looked in the mirror I saw that I was covered in scratches and bites, including one bite on the side of my neck (odviously not done by me). I didn't have any pets and there was no one in my house who could have done it to me.
Well, it came back about a year latter, and it has been coming back to me (whenever it feels like it), and attacking me ever since. It's fallowed me though five moves and about 8 years.
Understand I'm not afraid of it, and I don't really want it to leave, in a lot of ways we're apart of each other now. I just want to know what it is... So, any ideas?

Couple of Assumption could be made judging from your post:
A) You might have known that thing from your's past lives
B) Another you but, it don't make sense since you would never do that to
yourself *shrug*
C) Creature of the Shadow's (not too familiar with it though).

B) Another you but, it don't make sense since you would never do that to
yourself *shrug*
C) Creature of the Shadow's (not too familiar with it though). Thank you for the sugestions, if it helps at all it has a name. It's called The Companion. I call it that because that's what it desided I should call it... I can't really explain it any better than that I'm afraid...

i really know that being in darkness which is like liquid around you covering you. i lived that whing a week ago i guess. though we didn't fight or something it was just around me and it was scary enough for me. i really dont know if it was a creature or something but it's gone now.
no knowledge i can give you but just wanted to share.

lostsoul052204 I thought you said you weren't afriad. Could you clearly restate your question please ^_^;; I'm definatly not afraid of it, I'd just like to know what it is. For me, we're a part of each other. Despite the physical attack I would never want it to leave me. Simply put, I'd just like to know more about it.

I think you may know it. Like someone who died or a past life but if so I don't see why it would attack you not unless one of you did something bad and that is why it attacks you.

Belle Jardin de Amour I think you may know it. Like someone who died or a past life but if so I don't see why it would attack you not unless one of you did something bad and that is why it attacks you. I don't know... It somehow dosen't seem to be very human, but then maybe it was once upon a time...

To be honest, it matches a description of Hell I once heard from a person who had a near death experience. Except for the lack of fear part...

thats odd, if something were attacking me like that, i'd be trying to figure out how best to get rid of it XD i've fortunatelly not been in any paranormally based darkness before, regular darkness is bad enough for me, i'd do more damage tripping than any paranormal darkness could do to me... my house be crowded and i be big.

Well there's two problems with the Hell theory. Namely that last I checked Hell doesn't just manifest itself in your bedroom and two that it's pretty much made out fear. I was just kind of musing. I really don't see how you could be content with nightly maulings though. confused
