Keep OOC to a minimum, and only accompanying an RP post It was, as cliche as it may sound, a perfectly normal day. Coailiann was sitting in the main lobby of the headquarters looking incredibly bored. Several phone calls had gone out to various children hoping that they could possibly come over and alleviate the poor girl's boredom.
The answer, it seemed, was always something akin to "I'm busy, call again another time" and was beginning to grate on the sidhe's nerves.
Her mother still was not back from taking care of her sister and god knew when she'd be back. She had been stuck with her adoptive father and sisters for the time being.
And, for all she loved her family, she was tiring of their company.

The Elvin guardian laid a hand on the door. Oak held tightly against his chest. Closing his eyes, Kyo began to feel an oh so familiar feeling. The two where returning to the shop once more. In need of a good book to read and Oak needed to get some fresh air.
"No matter how many times you go through that it seems to get worse and worse every time." Shaking his head to rid the last bit of tingling feeling as there two bodies materialized. Making a mental note this time to stock up on a book or two before heading out. "Hmm.." No one seemed to be around the shop entrance, so that would mean that everyone else must be busy. Kyo shrugged his shoulders and trudged over toward the HQ entrance and walked through yet another portal.
"Hello?”
Oak squirmed in his guardians arm. Wanting to be released from his vice grip around his waist. Letting out a small whine and a grunt. Oak finally gave up after realizing his efforts where doomed from the start. “Agabhoo…”
“Chill dude… we'll go to the garden area in a minute.”

Oh the life of a Space Pirate. Rouge Remika's ship was finally repaired so she'd be able to return home within a few days. But being as she'd gotten a bit attached to the place called Headquarters and the people she'd met there, it was only natural that she wanted to say goodbye before she left town to go back home to her own galaxy.
Entering the shop she hoped to find the guardians and children she'd previously met. But surprisingly when the blonde haired woman entered the lobby-all clad in black and ready to depart town- she encountered a different kid then the one she knew.
"Hello there." Rouge said calmly, raising an eyebrow. This girl....was she another wand child?

Perking up at the sound of people entering her home, Coailiann lifted her head and shot a bright smile at Kyo and Oak, "Well, hello there!" She couldn't quite remember if she had met them before. She certainly hadn't seen the baby before, but the man...
No, he didn't seem familiar either. And neither did the new woman who was suddenly in her living room. Hmmph. Odd that the girl who lived there wouldn't even know the rest of her kindred. Was this woman a guardian as well?
"Never met you before," she said with a raised brow to all three, "But welcome anyway!
Really, Kay was just happy to have people there.

Taylor wandered absently through the door, Ako's wand in one hand, The Book of the Vampyres in the other. It wasn't her usual literary fare, but with a mysterious some-kinda-vampire baby on the way, she figured she ought to do some research.
So far it wasn't doing much good.
She looked vaguely around the lobby of the headquarters, blinking in suprise as an elvish boy and an odd-looking baby (another ghost thing?) walked thruogh the door as well, followed by a black-clad woman. "Hi," she said to both of them, raising her nose from her book for a moment.
Her fingers fidgeted on the handle of the wand. None of this was making sense. She didn't want a kid, didn't want some vampire thing from another dimension or whatever the hell it was.
This was all so confusing.

Malen and Kishi emerged from the training room almost simultaneously, each carried a tired but content look on their sweaty faces. The training session had gone well and the pair were better for it. Malen was relearning how to fight a smaller opponent and learning how to deal with winged one. Kishi was learning basic foot patterns for general fighting as well as increasing her endurance. All in all it was slow going but in time they'd benefit greatly from it.
Walking down the hall Malen spotted His eldest daughter and called out to her "Sweety can you grab me and Kishi soem water fromt he fridge? We're parched. Oh, and when are you going to join us? Even princess can kick a** or does Gaia not get Xena?" For a moment a picture of sweet Kay decked in leather flitted though his mind before being dismissed, there was no chance of that ever happening.

Leith bounced along, features set into a look of utmost irritation as he swung lightly from the baby knapsack Tovar had invested in to cart the infant around in. Leith squirmed slightly and huffed.
"Oh, stop complaining," Tovar grumbled, peering down at the dark haired baby. "We're just stopping in quickly to put this book back and then we'll head on home. Michael'll throw a fit if we don't get back in time to feed Etain, so you don't have to worry about sticking around to socialize or anything equally 'horrifying' like that." Because Leith seemed to like biting strangers rather than making friends. Go figure.
Leith cooed up at Tovar irritably, gnashing his teeth for emphasis. Tovar sighed, putting the heavy book he'd been carrying in one hand and reached out for the shop front door with the other. Maybe it was because he was fairly used to the magical shift of space, but he acquainted himself rather quickly with the change of setting, moving from the store to the headquarters with little more than a slight stagger.
And he nearly ran straight into someone else despite himself. "Oh shi--er," Tovar twitched slightly aside, hands moving to check and make sure Leith was still in his #1 Mommy Oh-God-What-Have-I-Become carrier. Leith nipped at his fingers. "No," Tovar chastised, glancing back to Kyocho. "I'm -- Sorry about that. Didn't mean to go trodding on your heels." He glanced around. There were an awful lot of people around - and was everyone else holding a book? Tovar cleared his throat nervously.

"Xena was the best show I've seen in a long time." Rouge commented from the other end of the room before waving at Taylor. "Personally I like Jockser. He's funny."
The woman smiled somewhat-the corner of her mouth twitching a bit but not turning into the huge grin she usually bore- at Malen and Kishi. These were two of the people she'd come to see. "Had a good training session you two?"

More and more people kept filling into the room. It was pretty awkward to say the very lest and not to mention being almost ran over. Kyocho glanced over to the person responsible and gave a smile. "It's ok don't fret about it." The elf nodded then returned his gaze over to Kay.
"And I believe we haven't had the pleasure of meeting you either." The Elvin man smiled. Walking over to the little girl, Kyo knelt down some what so Oak was some what Eye level with Kay.
"This little guy is Oak and I'm Kyo. Who do you happen to be?"
Oak's eyes grew in size. Watching the small figure dressed in a light pink and white. It was the pink hair that caught his attention the most. Never has he seen a color like this one before. Reaching out with grabby hands. Oak tried to latch onto her hair. “Ahh… Ahh..”

Going from virtually empty and lonely to already full of people, the headquarters did indeed seem a little brighter for the child. A third person coming in now (not counting Oak, as he was carried by the elf) and carrying...was that a wand or a sword?
Oh. Right! She remembered her. The vampire, wasn't it? "Hello, Taylor." That was her name, right? Unless her memory was failing her which was highly possible.
Ack! More people! Maybe her phonecalls DID do some good? Who knew, "Uhm....to save time....HI EVERYONE!"
Then her father's comment clicked and she turned to smile at him, charmingly, "I'm a lover, not a fighter. I'm also not a maid." Couldn't he get his own water?
Sighing dramatically, the sidhe trudged toward the fridge and grabbed two bottles from it, throwing them at her father carelessly, "Water for you and my dear sister. May have to put you into the kitchen if more people keep coming."
Food, she had discovered, was something people liked. A lot.
"Kay," she responded to Kyo with a small smile, "My name is Kay. Nice to meet you."
And then he went for her white hair, "AHH! No. Nonono. That's MY hair."

Taylor waved back, gingerly transferring her pointy wand to her other hand as she did so. She had no idea who this woman was, but she'd found that it paid to be friendly.
And wow, the room was filling up fast. Was there a party going on? Was there going to be free food?
Food would be good, but there didn't seem to be any in sight. Just people, and babies. And someone else with a large book as well. Taylor gave him a slight smile as well, trying to make her way to a patch of open space. Things were getting crowded, and she didn't like crowds at all.

The headquarters, to Lithle, was 'the place that usually had beer and was sometimes closer than home'. Today was one of those days when she A. needed beer. And B. Wasn't near home. So it was that she arrived in the main lobby Savius at her side, the zombiebrat in the birdboy's arms. And what the hell! People.
Not cool. Hackles up, Lithle quickly realized that it'd be difficult to keep an eye on everyone in the room at once. Thank the gods for a well trained brat. Savius's eyes were already scanning the room for potential threats, in the exact same ways that Lithle were. And he didn't seem too tense. Of course, he was more trusting.
Beer. Gods, she just wanted beer. Trying to decide the best way to navigate the room without bringing attention to herself, Lithle lingered as near to the walls as possible.

Tovar and his ward quickly skittered back out of the way of where people seemed to be pouring into the headquarters, not particularly fond of the thought about getting run over or stepped on (or, knowing magic, stepped in). Better to stand by the wall and wait for a path to open toward the library for him to slip through. Get in, get out, get home. He repeated the mantra under his breath.
Leith, meanwhile, had perked up sharply at the sudden appearance of so many people - swimming colors of clothing, the clamor of voices that arched up into the high ceilings of the room, clanking back hollowly. He opened and closed his mouth a few times and then shrieked remarkably loudly as if to say 'Hello, I'm here too - come pay attention to me so I can maybe hew on your fingers or tug on your earings!'

"WHY do we always end up here, brat?" Neveah grumbled, standing outside of the headquarter's doorway. She didn't mind coming to this place, but at the same time...she just wanted to go home, damnit! Glaring at the back of her adopted son's white haired head, the brought up one of her arms, lightly and grudingly rubbing at the back of her shoulders, just above one of the splinters of wing she still had.
"Frehnds." Was Zah's simple but quiet reply, though he did look over his shoulder to see his Ilhar, worry etched in his purple eyes. "Goh hohm?" He asked, finally turning to face her. When she gave a dismissive wave of her hand, he brightened and thanked her in his own language, turning and opening the door to the building, to allow Neveah in first...as it should be.
Neveah gasped a bit once they made it to the inner headquarters, her slanted aqua eyes widening a bit. So many people! So VERY many people! She couldn't recall the last time she saw so many! She recognized some of them...Kyo, Oak, Kay, Malen, Kishi, Rouge, Lithle, Taylor...but that was about it. Still. SO Many people! She was stunned to silence; apparently, she didn't like big groups.
"Oh. Lauts." Zasalamel breathed out, his purple eyes wide as he too looked over the room. He recognized the same people Neveah did, and he didn't recognize the same people as well. However, he was not afraid of big crowds. The Tall Drow looked around, urging Neveah to walk in a little more, to keep the entry way open. People, people he knew, yay!
"Ah...Echk!" The dark-skinned boy stopped himself as he greeted in undercommon, dragging his gze to the ceiling. Oh wait, that was wrong! Whoops. "Er...Nau...Hehlo!" There, that was better! As usual, the heavily accented boy spoke slowly as if he were trying to annunciate properly...but failed miserably at it. Of course his accent didn't help, either.
