I'm pretty confident that everyone knows what an AMV is, but just in case, an AMV is an Anime Music Video, and normally, obviously, they use anime footage to go with a song. So i'm thinking, i have a movie editing program (well, iMovie...), and DVD ripping program, and i will be getting the Gargoyles DVDs at some point, if not for christmas at least some time soon after. So why not? I'm going to make an AMV. Any suggestions for a song? I was thinking something by Flogging Molly, but i'm open to almost anything right now.

Sunsets by Powderfinger.
Everytime I hear it, I get pictures of Demona in my head. If I had the skill/software/episode files neccessary, I'd do it myself.

If I had the skill/software/episode files neccessary, I'd do it myself. don't think i've ever heard that one. Know where i can get a copy? I unfortunately can't use kazaa or the like because of my school's damnable firewall.

The video for the song is fantastic - it was animated by the same people who do Samurai Jack and tells chinese legend of the 7 sons of heaven (or something like that). Actually, it's not just a dempna song for me, I can also imagine partso f it applying to Goliath and Elisa too. If you get the chance to listen to it, or see the video, do it.

There's a song by 3 Doors Down on their first CD that always makes me think of Gargoyles. I'll have to look up its name because I forget... It's track 9...

If you wanted to do one that absolutely dripped with cheese, you could do "The Wind Beneath my Wings" lol
I think it would also be cool to give each of them a theme song.

I think you should do it to the song Standing in the Rain by billy talent. I think it'd be neat. Just a thought, but maybe it wouldn't be a good idea. The song doesn't really relate, but meh. Good song!

whisper from evanescence is a nice song.. and immortal would be a good one for an amv where goliath thinks on the past....

Evanescence is used in waaaay too many AMVs. Not to mention, they are not even that good of a band. <__<;; Though it is not solely Gargoyles, there is an awesome AMV on YouTube set to Sympathy for the Devil. Gah! Speaking of Gargoyle AMVs... I stumbled apon this AMV some time ago... it's using Broken by Seether, looking at the Elisa-Goliath-Demona relationships. It's very touching~ makes me fall in love with the show all over again. ^^ Broken
