Now, as for Smallville…
Today’s episode: “Subterranean”. Catchy title, no?
Catchy title, catchy episode, catchy songs… Everything went good tonight. eek
At the start of the episode, I enjoyed the slavery thingy but was wondering how the hell that was supposed to tie into the story for tonight—would they fast forward a hundred years or something?—and I was also wondering what this particular story arch had to do with the main storyline (which I must admit, I have no real understanding of what it is about besides PotWs ((Phantom of the Weeks))).
But what it did advance was the maturity of Clark Kent, aka Superman-in-training.
We were faced with the struggle of moral values—Clark wanting to save the boy—and the laws that the men and woman of our world have lain down to ensure stability and justice—Martha arguing that the boy needed to enter America legally. And Clark ending up teaching Martha something. Real nice, IMO.
Even the Lexana in the episode was great! mrgreen I loved Lex’s lil comment to Lana about how she’d miss him in that large, romantic place four thousand miles away… All cute and cuddly and s**t like that. ^^
Chloe and Jimmy… My God, I love them. On spot, had me grinning the entire time.
Lana… She’s in Lex’s world, and boy, is she in for a surprise… But she was likeable too. She's come to realize that money begets power, which in turns will make you hardened... It's a drug, and after a few tentative tries, she'll be hooked. Perfect.
And Lex…
I felt a chill as the end music—which I will be downloading shortly, don’t you worry—played to Lex telling the doctor/physician to “put him with the rest”. As time slowed down and Lex travelled the hallway, I though it was a bit corny—but I shut up when a hand reached out from a cell, tryign to grasp the indiffernt Lex.
And the door closing to show 33.1 labelled on its steel surface…

Smallville, you’ve done good.
Now why the hell can’t you put this kind of effort in all your episodes? scream

I already downloaded the AFI song, listening to it right now. Hehe. Sad, it is only about a minute.
It is nice to see they are going back to basics with this episode. Classic smallville. I mean, someone needs help, Clark helps out, takes care of the freak of the week and guess what? They even brang back the Clana moments at the end of every episode. I loved that Lana was delving into her inner darkness with the comment about power...but then kinda ruined it with the whole helping people out thing. Meh whatever.
Chlimmy was priceless and the last part with Clark and Jimmy was pure gold.
Have to wait til January now. stare

I think this episode was even better then rage...I mean finally...An episode not just about lexana and all the couples and about CLARK! I loved him in this episode....He was great...Not boring like he has been this season...And lexana is hanging by a thread again...I am 99% sure it will turn into a disaster...And Climmy was so loveable...Finally an episode with more chloe and jimmy. Although they didn't have Lois gonk . It was great...Just great...EPisodes I like so far are:
Subturannen
Rage
Reunion
GOOD EPISODE! I can't wait till january..Stupid hiatus...Lana is in for a big suprise rofl...Oh and there is only one thing that bugged me. Clark putting himself down rolleyes . Mmk...I'm going to go watch the finale of Buffy! TTyl people.

BlackChaos_kds I was also wondering what this particular story arch had to do with the main storyline As far as I can tell, nothing. The fact that they pushed back the air date like four weeks says it all, really. It also had this glaring continuity issue as a result in that we had the Lexana proposal last week that was dropped on a 'cliffhanger', not mentioned at all, and will now apparently become a big thing.

This one was great. As Saber said "Classic Smallville". Chloe and Jimmy were so cute together. xd I was giggling like a Japanese school girl.
The only thing I didn't like was the underlying propaganda about illegal aliens. rolleyes
My favorite part was at the end when Lex is walking down the hall and you can almost see him becoming more "evil".
I hope the Lex colored haze covering Lana's eyes is lifted soon. You could see it in her face when she was talking with Clark.

yea i noticed the thing about the illegal immigrants.....was that supposed to be in favor of them? confused
finally lana's going to get her common sense back! lol hopefully...*crosses fingers*
lex turning completely evil is unfortunate....but since we all knew it was going to happen, i suppose it was necessary....
we finally found out what 33.1 was eek i thought it was a video game from reading the spoilers

I am really hoping that Lexana will make it. I believe that even the evilest person in the world can be compassionate and loving towards someone. Lexana was my proof! I still believe in them.
