Has there ever been a time in the series when what a character did made you like them a little less in that episode?
As many of you are aware, Xena is on TV (on the Oxygen network). This morning (Dec. 7, 2006), they aired both episodes of 'The Debt'. I didn't like Gabby so much in these episodes. Had a really pompous attitude about her. I mean, I know she doesn't like killing (at this time; later on it doesn't bother her). But she travels with a warrior, she knows that if Xena has it in her mind to kill she will, and yet she spent the entire time both episodes judging. Then she had the nerve to slap Xena and scream at her when Xena had that giant board on her shoulders. Geez, I wanted to hit her so bad. I like Gabby, but I swear, during these two episodes, I kept thinking, "Shut up, Gabrielle!! scream ".

Yeah in The Debt I didnt like Gabrielle and in Maternal Instinct and The Bitter Suite. Actually there was a lot of times when Gabrielle annoyed me, especially in season 4 when she decided to walk a peaceful path yet still travel with a warrior, causing not only herself to be in danger but Xena as well, but in the eps mentioned I hated her.

I agree with that. Gabby sometimes comes off as standoffish about the warrior aspect even after Xena finds out that she has to "be the best warrior she can be"

3nodding yeah gabby isn't one of my fave charcters to begin with but those episodes only made me dislike her even more.

Gabby was an interesting character for all the changes she went through during the series. Sometimes she was annoying, sometimes she was great. At least they let her evolve and change smile

TO be honest I really disliked Gabbrille in her "peace and love stage" it was more like her "Let's put xena in a bad mood and make her defend me even more and get in the way" stage
Joxer also bugged me sometimes

Dr.Wind.Weaver I really didn't like most of the fifth season. I have to agree with you season 5 was deffinatly my least favorite x.X

eh for me the seasons switch back and forth some of them didn't fit at least to me.
oh and I wanted to slap Joxer have the time but who doesn't because he's....JOXER THE MIGHTY!!!
