I listen to Journey, and my dad tells me that it is classic rock.

I'm also a fan of Styx and the Scorpions, plus Pat Benatar.

Yes, Journey is classic rock. You should check out the first two albums though, as those are the best and are much different than their later style.

Oh, okay. I am really into their songs "Faithfully", "Anyway you want it", and "Open Arms", but I'm not exactly sure when they came out.

If journey is rock a Hamster is a starfish... they are too poppy for me to consider. confused Also, The Scorpions isn't classic rock... it's Hair Metal. Did you read the Sticky?

I love Journey! I think they are classic rock because have you heard how unique there sound is? People say that they sound like Styx or Boston but I can tell when it's Journey! And, like Queen, their voice is so amazing that they make me hold my breath... and only classic rock songs can do that! xd

No such thing as hair metal. It's hair ROCK. And yes, the Scorpions are classic rock, they started in the '70s, predating the hair rock movement.

And like I said...Journey's first two albums are rock. They're prog rock albums with heavy Santana influence, as the members had just left Santana.

Just a small town girl, Livin' in a lonely world, took the midnight train goin' anywhere.

Don't stop believing.

Jounrey is pretty awesome, and most definitely classic rock.

Journey is classic "chic rock". It's what we were forced to listen to back in the old days so we could get some.
