Hello,
I'm the president of my school choir, and a first soprano.
We're starting a sextet at our school, consisting of our six best singers:
Two sopranos, two altos, a tenor and a bass.

I'm looking for songs that are good for these parts, and are not ridiculously hard, but suitable for some slightly more advanced singers. At the end of the year we'll perform at the graduation ceremony, so if you know any songs that would work nicely for that, that would be wonderful. Other than that, we're looking for some nice music. Possibly a round.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. (Especially if you can suggest a place where I can find free sheet music. Yay public schools!)

Thanks,
Sophie.

Never Seek to Tell Thy Love is a beautiful piece, and can be sung with or without accompaniments. I personally like it better with, but that's alright.

Gabi, Gabi, a piece I recently sang with my choir, is also great for that sort of thing.

Go to www.jwpepper.com and search those two songs. Never Seek is the first one that pops up, and Gabi Gabi only shows up with one. Also, you can find next to anything on that site, including band scores. It's pretty damn awesome... XD

And one of the most popular sites for band and choir conductors... professional and ameture.
