Dragons are extinct. Well flying ones are. They have evoled into komodo dragons, but I believe all dragons live somewhere on a mountain, hidden from human eyes. they even found a dragon skeleton in a mountain. They could actually breathe fire. Not much is known about dragons, but one day when i am 16 me and my cuz are going to search 4 dragons. Here is a rather crappy poem I wrote.
Through Dragons Eyes I feel free I feel safe
I am wild I am tamed
I am mean I am nice
Live in fear I do not Others fear me
I soar the skies I swim in the lakes
I am a Dragon and I can do whatever i want

Dragons did not evolve into Komodo dragons, Komodo dragons are just giant lizards, they where called dragons because the explorers thought they where dragons when they first landed on the islands. We know this as we can track back DNA and we find they are closely related to other lizards. If we tracked it back and it wasn't related to anything we know then that might be a dragon thing razz . Also no Dragon remains have been found ever, there was a TV drama documentry that was pure fiction where they did which was highly intresting and awesome (have the DVD biggrin ) but dragons have not been proven to exist on this planet yet as far as im aware. (if they have show me the research, the articles the proof and prove me wrong) Dragons COULD have existed and its an intresting thought to think smile They have only discovered about 1% of the fossil record so anything could be found yet wink

Dragons are still among us. Elementary Dragonology my dear sir... or madam (you penguin suit and alien mask >.>) If you look around carefully you will see signs. These signs are: ~ Quatities of extremely large, smelly dung. ~ Footprints (though mostly left by gargoyles in wet cement). ~ Signs of recent burning (you know those so called brush fires). ~ Wisps or tendrils of smoke seen at a distant that, when approched, seem to have no clear origin. ~ Bones of dead animals with tooth marks too large for any "normal" predator. ~ Thick trails of glutinoud or slimy matter. So many types of dragons are alive.

So many types of dragons are alive. I would like to beleive they are still among us, hell it would be really awesome if they where, Love dragons so much biggrin . But the fact remains they dont, there has not been a sighting of a dragon in hundreds of years. If you look at Crypotozoology, they have lots of sightings and proof of OTHER creatures which still may be alive. Like bigfoot and the lock ness monster but there is no dragons in cryptozoology, i have seen no evidence what so ever to believe that there are still dragons in this world. And as for those signs, i have not see or heard of any such evidence ever, and most of them all have scientific explanations, but hey i have to ask, where did you get the sourse :/ if its from that kiddy dragonology book then you should know thats pure fiction. Give me the sources for such claims biggrin Sorry the scholar in me razz PS Im a guy hehehe ^^
