Since the Children don't actually celebrate Christmas (or any other winter holiday you might think, for that matter) they are celebrating the Winter Solstice with a party!
The main cave has been decked out with colorful decorations, Dimitri and Zita (who are now officially the leaders of the Triton Herd) have hired some fish to play some intstruments in a band and there's tons of good food for everyone.
Bring your pets in and let them have fun! Who knows what's going to be happening!!

((Iairos and Dimitri are buddies, I just need to make that official somewhere)) Iairos DimitriDimitri and Iairos settled into the cave. Dimi was talking to the musicians and Iairos was straightining decorations to help out. However, nothing could hold Iairos's attention long and he went off to mess with things right outside the cave.

HeleneVenusHelene came into the cave. It was a wonderful sight and she was excited to be there. Venus followed Helene into the cave. "What a nice place! I'm glad I stop by for this time of year"

Iairos noticed the Venus coming into the cave from his spot outside it. He smirked, the girl was pretty. He nickered and went back into the cave following in behind her.
Dimitiri turned his head to look at the two girls. "Hey, welcome to the party." He sadi falsing them a horsey grin.
((Iairos thinks he's a player. XD ))

*Everyone came into the cave and gazed in awe. Marlin carried Holly in her arms, and the little one nickerd at the bright decorations.
Mer and Lantern carried their babies in, still resting.*
"This is fantastic!" Pumpkin whinnied.

Helene went to greet the other merhorse. To her it was a great time to get together.
Venus stopped and look behind her to see a merhorse following her. "Why hello there"

Iairos tossed his head slightly cuasing his mane to float to one side. "Hey there yourself. The name's Iairos." The merhorse said floating to her side. "And may I ask the name, of the beautiful mer beside me?" He asked. Play it smooth, Iairos, come on, smooth.

Zita swam slowly into the cave. She had found some colorful shells and decorated her hair for the occasion and was looking very festive. She sees her brother and some of the other merhorses she has met and waves a hello to the room in general.

Zita blushes, which is obvious and shows on the white parts of her cheeks. "Thank you," she says softly. She smiles. "I got them just a little ways from here. And I love your coat, such a warm color," she adds, remembering her manners.

Venus was in the mood to party because she hadn't had any fun for awhile.
Helene went over to greet Zita. "Hello,how are you doing?" she said.
