DAY ONE -----------
Orpheus was so unsure on this class, he'd done a lot of study so that he could get it just right. He lifted up a chart that he had set out before him. It showed the different amounts of the venom that was to be given to the student each day. Tyven it would seem had a the nature skill of 'Venom Resistance' so he got some venom from his son, he proved as useful to his classes as Ligeia had but he made deals where Geia didn't. Ter wanted to go to the same place he'd gone with Lucia to get some new piercings... He shook his head then sat down at a table he had set up in his classroom to await his next student.

Tyven was here.
The extremely tall girl slowly entered the room, not out of any sense of fear, but with a rather apathetic expression as she scanned the place, eyes flickering from the teacher to the objects in the room, and back to the teacher. She was wearing actual clothing for once; military boots, a tanktop, and belted shorts, along with the gloves she used for boxing. Her favorites.
Jem had simply dumped her nearby, leaving the snake to find her own way to the proper room. And she had, obviously. A curt nod was awarded to Orpheus in greeting, and she silently approached the desk, to blink at the chart on top of it.
Not a very talkative girl.

The teacher looked over at his student for a moment taking in the bright color that rather reminded him of an amethyst before he gave her a smile despite her lacking one of her own. Well it was a little early so he attributed it to that, "Hello there, Tyven right?" He said, looking down at his clip board, "Today we are going to start with a series of classes to work on your skill." He looked around wondering where her parent was, he really had been wanting to talk to the person to explain exactly what it was that he was going to do and what to look out for. Hrm... well he would just keep her here for the first day and keep an eye on her himself until the missing parent returned.
"Your DNA gives you the innate skill of being rather immune to venoms, this is mostly a test of how they will affect you if at all." He said, this was such an odd class almost as much so as the one he'd done for Etain. Both involving dangerous venoms that he felt guilty that he had to have the kids work with.

"You are going to poissin me?"
A slight stress on the 's' syllable, something the girl was struggling with. Her strangely forked tongue, mingled with her fangs, made it harder to speak properly. Hissing, of course, sounded entirely different. An astute child, she blink at him disconcertingly, but without accuasation.
She didn't know about this 'innate skill,' nor did she particularly trust Orpheus, and D-corp. She'd been a lab mistake, and did he say...
"Rather immune?"
What did that mean?!

Orpheus looked a bit guilty over that, "Yeah, to test your ability. And I say 'rather' as your not completely immune so I don't suggest going out and getting in duels with the older, venomous students for the fun of it. The class is basically to see how venom will or will not react to you."
He still didn't much like the idea thinking it would be best if Madeline or Hennet or maybe if Myox were about to help out in this one. Would make him feel a lot better.

"Hrmph. Wouldn't depend on that to beat them up."
She seemed rather offended by the suggestion that without full immunity she wouldn't fight older kids. Of course she would. Blinking stoicly, Tyven pointed a black clawed finger at one of the containers.
"Do I drink it now?"
She seemed unphased by the idea. In fact, poison shouldn't do much to her for a while. Or at least, small doses.
[By the By: Ara has told me that Tyven could take about 4-5 bites from someone like Terpsichore before it would begin to affect her.]

"You rather remind me of the person I got this venom from." He found himself saying, and it wasn't just because they both has snake DNA in them either. He looked down at the container then nodded, "Drink... Its either that or injection. Which would you preferr?" If he had her drink it he could mix it in something that would taste better and it would take away the having to stick her in the arm with it thing.
(( Cool, hes just gonna start off with small doses and go from there. ^_^ ))

"Drink... Please."
Oh, her mothers would be so proud for that last word. The snake reached for the correct dosage and simply drained it, black tongue sticking out in distaste after she swallowed.
"Well, they taste bad."
Whomever Orpheus had gotten the venom from, that was.

The teacher's eyebrow lifted as she took the dose of venom and knocked it back as if it were nothing, "Ahh if you feel any reaction to that tell me alright?" Orpheus told her did what he could not to laugh at her words, "Tastes bad? I will make sure to tell him." He said, he was sure that it was something that Ter would no doubt get a kick out of.

"Reaction? I have a bad taste in my mouth."
A pause, and Tyven raised her brows, looking unimpressed, before folding her arms across her chest, and glancing over at a clock.
"How long does this take? I feel fine."
A knock on the door, and a redhead stuck itself in. Jem. Grinning, she bounced inside, and patted Tyven's head, turning mismatched eyes to Orpheus.
"Hi! I'm Jem, Tyvvie's ma."
At least she was here now. Who knows what she'd been up to before.

"Not sure exactly, the one time I got bitten it was a rather immdient reaction. Could be that the ammount you were given isn't enough to really affect you. Rather impressive." The last two words him musing to himself, then he looked up, almost looking guilty for a moment before the look was gone. He was doing his job NOT randomly poisoning students!
"Its nice to meet you Jem, I'm Orpheus." He introduced himself.

"I like your hair." Was Jem's response, and she pointed at the chart, frowning slightly.
"Poisoning her? Oh. Indigo snake, venom immunity. Though I suppose with her human DNA, it's only partial?"
The redhead was smarter than her cute appearance gave her credit for. Tyven, of course, was getting bored. No offense, Orpheus.
"Do I have to sstay here all day?"

That rather caught him off guard, "Huh? Oh, thanks." He said, then got up to his feet, "Yes, that is why we are taking it slowly, small does of venom to see how well her immunity works." Good, not a parent that was going to go off on him for what he was doing. He held back a sigh of relief.
Orpheus looked to Tyven, "Not all day, just wanted to keep an eye on you after you took the venom to see the reaction. Well in this case lack there of. You can come back again to do the next dose."
(( If Jem suggests the idea of her doing the rest he will be all for it. >_>;; LOL He just won't think of sending it home as an odd sort of homework. ))

"Uh..."
Jem and Tyven's eyes met. It'd taken a lot of coaxing to get the snake to stop training long enough to come all the way down to D-corp [a place she hated, by the way]. Smiling warmly, the short young woman reached over to pat Orpheus' hand.
"Why don't you give me that chart, and the doses, and I can do it at home, and simply send you a report about the results? After the tests, we'll even come in for a doctor's check up!"
Gringrin. How could anyone resist that smile?

Orpheus thought on that one for a moment, to send the stuff home would take a lot of weight off his shoulders. Obviously better to be done by a parent and if she were going to send in a report. This could be a lot of him taking the easy way out so as not to have to feed Tyven poison anymore but...
"Alright, but I will be sending some antivenom along with this stuff just in case you need it." He said, in case they ran across a level where the venom actually bothered the snake girl. Or if the mother got some of it on her.
