This Metaplot event will open
December 8thFor now, I need to know who wants to take part in the Metaplot event that is in the works. Most of it will be a surprise as to what happens, but I have to give you a few warnings:
1) It's a dangerous situation. Guardians will be present, even if your GoTP is a kid. Guardians or someone that is older than they are that's going to escort them.
2) Being a dangerous situation, your child does have the possibility of being harmed. Nobody will die and nobody SHOULD have lasting damage – but it's a risk you take when you become a part of this event.
3) This event will take place outside of Gaia in a realm created by Matilda. All bets are off, rules of reality are skewed, and there will be creatures that you've never heard of before. You'll have to pay attention to the GM'd posts.
Anyway – this is opened to Lurkers as well. You just have to have a valid IC reason to be there. Perhaps knowing one of the guardians and going with them or being in the wand shop close to the door when it happens. It's up to you.
Plot Synopsis:Matilda's weak and leaves the portals to both the
in between and the headquarters itself. The
in between has several layers and they merge together at her portal. If the portal's open, the
in between would be able to seep through the portal at the junction and actually suck the pocket realm
into it's own realm since the realm is relatively small (Enough to hold the headquarters and garden and that's all). The
in between is an alternative to limbo.
Creatures, both bad and good, exist in there. Only extremely strong good spirits can survive. The weaker are preyed upon by the darker/evil spirits. The good give off light, the bad give off darkness. The stronger the spirit, the darker or lighter it is. The entire
in between is gray from the mixing of it.
Since the Headquarters in neutral and houses life, the color would be drained from it and the life would slowly be sucked from it, creating a beacon to alert all spirits inside the realm. The longer it's in
in between the higher the chance of dropping a level and being pulled by the spirits down goes. The lower it goes, the more chance of more extensive/long lasting injuries for the occupants.
There are several NPCs that will be introduced in this event that will both try to help those participating in getting out of the in between and hinder them. What happens is up to all of you to decide ^_~
If you're interested in joining the adventure, just post who your kid is (if you're a guardian) and who you'll be bringing with you to the event. (I.E. Who's accompanying your kid if you're a guardian, or if you're a lurker what characters you're bringing)Any stage is welcome ^^ since guardians will be present. You can even toss in guardians without the kid if you think they're too young to pop in.
