how come the background behind my avi disappears when I put this code in-

{
background: #FFF
url('http://img103.imageshack.us/img103/3228/tek061124957750kn7.png') no-repeat 1px 65px; }
#profile .avatar { filter:alpha(opacity=0); opacity:0; }

I guess you've changed your profile since you posted this?

I'm not sure what you want it to look like so I can't really tell you what's going on. If I know what you want as compared to what it looks like with that code, I could get an idea of what's happening and why.
