...Introduction...
1/9 - Alright! I've been thinking about my concept in recent days and I've decided that it needs quite a bit of touching up. So, for the next few days, I'll be tweaking around with some of the minor aspects of my concepts (history, background, profile...), but for the most part, Victoria's 'act' will remain as is. T'is all!
12/16 - Open for critiques!
Welcome one and all to my very own and very first concept thread! This is a big, exciting task for me, one that I will not take lightly, so don't mind me if I take a while putting this thing together. In other words, pardon my dust. Other then that, I have nothing else to say. Please, feel more then welcome to browse if you like, but please refrain from open posting or criticisms. I'm in the beginning stages of setting up and it's a tad bit embarrassing...

Profile
Herein lay the basic profile for my up and coming concept. Don't worry about the blanks, they will be filled in eventually.
~|~|~
Name: Victoria Dogwood Preferred Name: Victoria Stage Name: ...
Gender: Female Race: Human. Caucasian/African American
Age: 18 Height: 5ft 5in Weight: 130 lbs
Eye Color: Dark Brown Eye Shape: Round, average size
Hair Color: Dark Brown, with natural Auburn low lights Hair Style: Past the shoulders, straight, but slightly poofy or 'messy'. Often wears it in a simple style such as a pony-tail or other style that keeps it out of her face.
Casual Attire: Victoria's attire typically consists of demin jeans, a t-shirt and possibly a hat, with her ultimate comfort item being her classic black and white Chucks. Her style ranges from 'plain' to 'funky' to 'theatrical' depending on her mood. Costume: ...
World: Type A Time Period: 21st Century, Current Location of Birth: Washington D.C. Language: American English. Knows a decent amount of Spanish. Class: ... Other: ...
History: Victoria was born and raised in Washington D.C. as the only child of William and Mary Dogwood. Victoria grew up and was born in Washington D.C. as the only child of very controlling and job loving parents. Victoria's parents, William and Mary were both high-profile business people who believed that their image and perfection meant everything. They say often that they loved her, but she knew in reality that she was only #1 after their careers.
Practically since she was born and throughout most of the rest of her life, she was a 'puppet' in her parents' hands. They made all of her decisions for her and even told her how to act, how to dress and everything in between. She was known only as, 'Mr. and Mrs. Dogwood's daughter' and never as her own person.
Controversy was never uncommon in the Dogwood household, especially went it came to Victoria's post high-school education. As much as Victoria rebelled and pleaded to let them follow her own dreams, they refused to listen and were persistent that she go to a university and carry on the family name with respect.
Outraged, an argument ensued, which culminated in Victoria storming out to cool off on a summer evening, only never to come again. Just a few weeks shy of her 18th birthday, Victoria had runaway from home without so much as a second thought.
Though immediately realizing what she did was dumb, seeing as she did not have a dollar in her pocket, she looked at the positive. She was finally free from her over controlling parents and was for the first time in her entire life, free to 'live' like she had dreamed of.
For the next few months, Victoria managed to get by with a variety of odd jobs. From waitressing and three card Monty to street preforming and the occasional con-game, Victoria was quick to learn the skills and do it. Though she loved her new life more then anything, it did not come without its short comings. Because of some minor run-ins with the law, thanks to later more lucrative occupations, Victoria is sometimes forced to change locations without notice.
...
Personality: At first glace, Victoria has that 'yeah, piss me off and I'll eat you alive' type personality, but she'll open up with/if she gets to know someone better. Feisty, I guess you could say, but with a good heart deep down in there. Victoria's also self-confidant, not afraid to work for what she wants and is defiantly not afraid to mouth off and voice her opinion. A bit moody at times, which could have something to do with her inner shyness and insecurities. Likes: The color red, fedoras, music, movies, the theater, eating, writing, preforming, meeting interesting people, enjoying life, talking, dancing, laughing, learning new things, fire, excitment Dislikes: 'Fake' people, closed-minded people, not being happy, control freaks, mayonnaise, milk, yellow crayons, 'boring' things,

Talents, Skills + Stages
Once again, this is a very, very rough draft, so please, don't mind my dust.
Main Talent/Act: Street Performer/Intermission Entertainer? Description of act: Victoria's current job, though rather simple, is still enjoyable task. Through the use of persuasive chatter, Victoria's 'act' is to work the crowd and keep them happy before, during, after the show, and between numbers. Her act may or may not include minor stunts or tricks, such as juggling, or random bit of slight of hand, but for the most part, her act does not require a prop or stage of any sort.
As a 'nOOb' of the cirque, Victoria made take other odd jobs such running a game booth or food cart or collecting tickets. In time, she hopes that she could learn a new, more challenging skill and become a part of the show its self. For now, however, Victoria is content.
Weaknesses: ...
Strengths: ...
Stage 1 ~ Carnie: Join the Cirque as a nobody, a roadie almost. Stage 2 ~ Castmember: ... Stage 3 ~ Headliner: ... Stage 4 ~ ???: ...

I really like that her skill is the fact that she doesn't really have a skill. She fills an important niche at the cirque without being "in-your-face-woah-hows-she-balancing-on-her-nose?!?"
I like that. :3
It seems almost like she could be a ringmaster's assistant of sorts. Joking back and forth with him, helping him keep the crowd going, winding up the butt of a lot of physical comedy...
