With the holidays fast comeing, many of us make wish lists. What I would like to know is, 1)do you have any books on your wish list and if so 2)what are they and 3)why do you have it on your list?
ADDED: If you put any books on your list, did you get any as a gift?

Aside from the long list of manga...
The Circle of Magic (4 books), by Tamora Pierce The Circle Opens (books 2,3,4), by Tamora Pierce The Swords and Sorceress series (any books that can be gotten ahold of), by Marion Zimmer Bradley Peter and the Shadow Thieves, by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson
And those are just the specifics. I'm always looking for other Tamora Pierce books, as well as any Sue Henry books I can get ahold of.
With the books on my list, I want them because (in the case of the Pierce and Sue Henry books) I've read them so many times that I really just want to own them now, or (in the other cases) I want to read them and actually own them, since (in the Sword and Sorceress case) they're so hard to come across.

I totally forgot about manga!....Ah well. With quite a few books that I read, I really like them and I want to have one for my own to read again sometime.

I doubt I will get it, but perhaps someone will give me a gift card that I can use to buy "The Woman Warrior: Memoirs of a Girlhood Among Ghosts" by Maxine Hong Kingston. I've been wanting it just forever. emo
