The interior of the Victorian manor contains several overstuffed chairs and couches of the same era. The lighting finds its source in the many fireplaces and torch-holders along the wall. Overall the lighting is a somewhat dim but soft orange glow in most places and the room warm. The subtle scent of burning wood can be detected rather easily and quickly upon entering.
The walls are mostly dark wood with stone areas trimming and relieving many areas, creating a strange blend of Victorian warmth and Gothic grandiosity. Affixed to many of the stone areas are wrought-iron candle holders, which hold three candles each, and they seem always to be lit. The ceiling is high enough that the light of the candles and fireplaces fails to illuminate the heights of the vaulting.
Intermixed between these are bookcases sunken into the walls, packed in from one shelf to the next. The book cases are each about 6 feet tall and to that height the visible portion of the walls appear to be more book-spine than stone.
The chairs are mostly arranged in a loose circle. Numerous tables sit close to the chairs and couches and atop most of the tables are hooded lanterns that are closed but can open to allow more light, as needed. Many smaller wooden chairs, upholstered with black or deep purple velvet are on the opposite sides of the tables, easily allowing for smaller conversations to take place easily and quietly.

Anip I have a silly question... how come kat owns the guild?... are we somehow kat's lovlies to? xp The reason is simple, dear. It was conceited enough for my suggestion to have brought about the existance of the guild, but to create it myself...There's simply no dignity in that at all. So Kat created and runs the guild while I watch over it. ^..^
