Hello again! biggrin In this thread I would like to ask you all to fill out a profile and post it for your LARENIAN character. You must fill this out before you begin your roleplay! There is no limit to how many characters you wish to have, but if you stop using one, please remove the profile. smile

Another thing! You do NOT have to be completely Crinitian, Vvraedenian, or Areathian. You may be elven and so on and so forth... your home however will have to be in one of these countries. razz

Name: Reydith Lai
Kingdom: Crinitia
Age: 1,639
Magic and ability: the elements of Darkness and Light. She is able to see souls and into the history of those she meets. She can bring death without ever touching her target, and also bring back life. She rarely uses either of these powers for its karma is great and can bring great tragedy upon her and her kingdom. Mild telepathy.. she can;t read minds, but can speak to you without actually saying anything.

History: Not much is known to the rest of Larenia about Reydith. She was given her place when she turned 300 years old once her father was too sick to continue his ruling. She does not have a male companion, and chooses to remain this way in order to keep her spirituality at its peak. Magic and her Kingdom have always been her first priorities and there for she has had no time to make friends or acquaintances with others.

Magic and Ability: She uses dragon magic like most people from Vvraeden, although she isn’t an expert at it yet. She has telepathy and uses the element of fire mostly. She is very clumsy with her magic and often does the opposite of what she intended to do.
Skills: She is very quick with learning new languages. She has precise aim with the bow and arrow, although only uses it when needed. She has also been training in the martial arts area, for it is important that she learns to defend her self.

Her hair is black with red streaks.
History: Larena was partly named after the realm by her parents whom taught her to be well mannered and kind. She grew up looking to her brother Rayne for most of her ideas and treats him as respectfully as possible. Although she tends to tease him and annoy him from time to time by drawing on him while he sleeps on his throne. As peaceful as Larena seems, there is a deep war going on within her that even she doesn’t understand. At a young age she found that often she might hurt others without her conscious consent. It remains a mystery to her and her family, and a definite problem that will decide her fate.

Magic and ability: Strangely enough… he has none… well foresight… Sometimes he has visions of what is to come in the future, or what has happened in someone’s past. But other than that, he is considered strange for his lack of magical ability.
Skills: Very skilled in weaponry and the arts of war. He has learned to capture spirits for technological use and is mostly known for his engineering skills.

History: He was considered odd by most everyone because of his lack of magical abilities, however he made up for it with advanced knowledge of more technological areas. He helped create the greatest ship to ever see Larenia and continues his work. Unaware of the spirits and what he does to them, he uses their magic thinking that there is no damage. He is simply ignorant.

Magic and ability: Darkness. She hasn’t grasped the full potential of her magical abilities though and mostly depends on something called “The Ebony Flame”
The magic comes from the Ebony Flame Sword which holds the spirit of a mage named Ebony. The flame allows her to hear thought, she’s not telepathic. She just hears thoughts as if it were another sound. She cannot speak back to you through your mind however (not yet that is) The flame allows her to heal quicker as well, but she cannot help others with this magic. There are various spells which she can use, but none of them have actually worked as of yet. I’ll write a spell list later on.
Skills: Martial arts and sword fighting… She knows many styles and studies it as if there were no tomorrow. She knows how to fight dirty, and she’s willing to use anything she can to win… except when the fight calls for a certain respect. She can make weaponry, and Hunt.
Occupation: blacksmith’s assistant.
Appearance: Her hair is short and black, pushed to the left side of her face. Her eyes are a lovely red, and on occasion she wears her fangs, most usually the sign of a very pissed off Crinitian. She’s about 5’7 in height, and more muscular than most women ought to be simply because she trains everyday. Her eyes change colour with her mood, if they’re red, I’d keep my distance. She wears high boots, and a black cloak. Her armour is made from the thick shell of a ‘Disdeller’ (a very large insect type. Their shells are extremely hard and used widely for armour’)
History: Newki has had a pretty rough start on life, though she still believes that there is some good left in the world and that if she works hard enough, she’ll be rewarded. She was born into a family of slaves, something that goes against Crinitian law. She was the product of a rape, and her mother left her with an old man named Thorvis, an old beggar who later sold her for some quick cash to pay ff a debt he had made several years before. Now she was owned by a very powerful mage name Ebony Rayne, a sadistic and corrupt pervert. She lived with this man, and did his bidding (what ever the cost may be) up until the age of seventeen, which is still very young in Crinitian terms.

It is said that each have their own element, and each have their own dragon. Thousands of years before, Crinitian were said to have actually ridden dragons and trained with them even before the Jerenise came about. It was a miracle and a very strange thing that her dragon (predestined to guide and watch over her soul for the events that were to happen many years down the road) actually came to save her. She was preparing to murder Ebony for his wrong doing, and punish him finally for everything he had ever done to her or made her do. A black dragon, who called himself Shagrath, came in the form of a man with long jet black hair and silver eyes. He did not look at the situation as a pity bowl, instead he saw it as an opportunity to teach the girl and the man a great lesson.

He locked Ebony’s soul within a black sword that would contain all of Ebony’s magical abilities and essence. Thinking she would finally be rid of the b*****d, Newki was filled with a deep momentary pride… however this ended quickly. Shagrath also made Newki take the sword and treat it as her own. By learning to use the sword, she would gain a great amount of magic which was shared by Ebony. She still struggles over whether or not this gift was a curse or not. In fact she hates her sword a lot, and wishes only to be rid of it, even though she knows it will leave her vulnerable. Unaware of the fact that Shagrath is a dragon, she believes she had encountered her elemental spirit instead, which isn’t exactly too far from the truth.

((Sorry if this is so long… I’ve really developed this character. In about a hundred years she has to save the world from crazy things, so bear with me.))

Kingdom: Senri-Naa, the Karas Tribe
Magik Ability: Gift of the Seidr, she can sometimes see things before they happen, visions and such… though they only occur when she is near someone whom possesses the gift in a great amount or is gifted with a foresight magik of some kind.
Skills: ice fishing, hunting, basic life skills within the wilderness, she uses a bow and arrow and of course a large knife. She rides a reindeer named Unni.

Appearance: Oleg is small and thin. Her hair is an auburn colour, and her eyes are an icy grey which stands out on her darker skin tone. She stands about four feet five inches, and weighs about seventy-three pounds. She has the tattoo of a raven on her back, with its wings spread across her shoulders. Her clothes are made of dear skin, and are decorated with beads made from bone. She appears quite frail and small as she is still rather young, but she is very energetic and strong for her age.
History: Oleg’s life was pretty quiet and simple; she woke up early with her parents and her siblings and helped hunt, and prepare meals, clothing etc. She had five other siblings, four boys and another girl whom she rarely ever got along with, but did her best to keep from being violent as it was frowned upon. She was apart of the Karas Tribe before it made a strange disappearance.
It is customary to go on a vision quest when one turns twelve. Although this is usually only meant for the males, Oleg was determined that she too had a bigger role in life than what most of the women in her tribe. She left without actual permission from her parents or the tribe elders despite the respect she felt for all of them. She was away from her village for six days, without food and only the water that she came across during her journey. During that time she faced many nightmares. She hadn’t understood them at the time, because she didn’t realize that she was actually seeing events which would take place in the future. She had a great vision of the raven flying in the skies, it told her that she was going to be apart of a great journey, and that her place in life was to travel and learn and understand the nature of all life.
Excited that she had discovered her purpose, she went home. However upon reaching her village she found it completely deserted. There was no one in her own home, no one hunting, not even the slightest evidence of a fight. Everyone was just missing. For the first week or so, Oleg ventured around the camp site, cooked food, hunted, and made clothing just as she usually would… But after she began to realize that no one was coming back. She decided to leave and now she travels onward in search of another tribe or another world that would help her discover what had happened to her family.

Age: 19
Magic and ability: Healing of others, but rarely herself. She is a psychic of sorts and uses a type of tarot card to depict things. She also sees auras and often has visions. The emerald in her costume and weapon are said to have magical powers.
Skills: healing, as well as basic survival skills. She is capable of sword fighting and carries a broad sword (seen in image) though it is a last resort and she only learned it to keep at a physical well being. She’s a spirit, mind, and body kind of person.
Occupation: A travelling healer. She goes town to town to treat the sick and wounded and to learn of new races and cultures.

History: Shikha was actually born in Senri-Naa however she decided to travel to the world south in order to grasp an understanding of the new world. She came to Araeth to discover the secrets of technology and learn what it has to offer as well as its consequences to the earth. Orriginally this search was a coming of age test given by the chief of her tribe, but that was her given path when she was thirteen and she has so far decided not to go back yet; there are still things that need to be learned.

Magic and ability: Dragon magic and fire element and wind and a array of different spells that are solely based on one hit kills or mass carriage and some healing spells and his favorite kind of spells enhancement spells.

Appearance:King Rayne stands eleven feet and four inches with long crimson hair that barely scrapes the ground it is bound in thirteen onyx bands which carry old glyphs. His build is that of strong young man with scars on his chest and face. his eyes are electric blue with crimson slits. his arms are covered in scales of a deep red and dull silver. His wings are about twenty-two feet in full span, his general dressing habits consist of loose baggy clothing with a sleeveless long coat emblazoned with the royal crest on the back his arms have a peculiar pattern on them that of two spiraling flames going up his arms his right a deep blue the left a ruby red. on his person is a mass array of hidden weapons along with his living chain that is a passed to each ruler as guardian.

History: Rayne grew up looking up to his twin brother Kayren as fate would have it Kayren was murdered by a another countries assassin along with his mother and father and most of his family. In the end it was Rayne going completely berserk on the killer when he got to Rayne who stood horrified in the dinning hall hearing every one scream into death. The rest of the story Rayne has kept secret from all the kingdom. All that anyone knows that's left of his family is his sister and great grand father.

Just add a trigger and two barrels to the sword and that is his sword he has a dagger version of the sword as well.
History:Experimental subject for new phase spirit integration x-0001-006 he was thought to be dead in a fatal experiments but is now the famous air pirate king. His ship the dragon fire as he called was also thought to be destroyed. This young man thinks spirits should be friends not slaves thus he his crew is mostly elemental spirits.

Magic and ability: Minimal, if he is shown step by step he can learn, otherwise he is uninspired.

Skills: Pilot skills (Advanced). Militaristic command. New and old weapon proficiencies (Knives, Swords, pole arms, bows, bow guns, etc.)
Occupation: Pirate, Mercenary, Captain, thief, opportunist.

Appearance: (Pic will be added Later as Photoshop hates he right now.) Dice is a tall thin cut man with a spiky hair cut, however he does have a pony tail at the base of his skull. He wears a long coat and high boots of fine leather. His coat covers what appear to be two leg strapped weapons. Wears thin cut rimless glasses and tosses his “lucky pair” frequently.

History: Dice has been in and out of the company of the law since a very young age and now with his own ship has begun a career of "Non-stationary acquisition". Exactly what Dice does is known to few, but the matter of how he came into owning the cruiser class ship known today as the Royale is legendary. Dice is a sweet talker with a silver tongue but a short fuse, His temper often lands him in trouble but his prized weapons Annabelle and Jessabelle are always at his sides for him to "end" that trouble.

Magic and ability: Dimitrix was gifted with the element of darkness.
Skills: hunting, and fighting/protecting
Occupation: Dimitrix is a knight, though she is still learning new things every day. She is quick to learn and change and mold things into her own. She knows how to use a variety of weapons, but she is better at some that with others of course.
Appearance:Dimitrix's eyes are crimson fading into silver near the edges of the iris. A symbol is tattooed under her right eye that stands for "The Shadow". She also has s small wolf print tattooed on the hollow of her throat. She has pure white hair that reaches to her waist in strait, glossy strands. Throughout her hair are silver and ebony beads, as well as silver symbols/runes made into beads to decorate her hair.
She generally wears alot of black, including a heavy black cloak that almost comepletely hides what she is wearing. She wears a silver ring, that covers the whole finger, on her middle finger on her right hand, and several black bracelets. She also wears a variety of neckalaces.
History: Her mother died while giving birth to her. Her father saw her as a bad omen because of this. Her older brother would often find Dimitrix secluded away from the other children, and would sit and talk to her, telling her to remain spiritually strong, and stable. He encouraged her to become strong to show that she was just as able to carry on a normal life just as any other Crinitian would. Not too long aft her brother became a knight aongside thier father, he was killed. Dimitrix felt alone in thie world and constantly asked the spirits what she could do. She finally decided to become a knight to carry on where her brother left off. She is ignorant in the way of socializing because she has spent most of her time secluded away from others.

Magick and Ability: There is no one Element with which she is especially connected: she works a bit with all of them, depending on what is needed for a specific task. She has, however, been debating about whether or not she will expand her knowledge to become a specialist in the Element of Earth (and perhaps someday she will, when her family is not so distracted). She is an Empath (meaning she can feel the emotions of other beings), has the gift of Psychometry (she can see the past of objects she touches) and can communicate with all things in Nature (rocks, trees, flowers, animals, Spirits, et cetera).
{However, her gift of Empathy is not always as "bang-on" as she'd like it to be: she once woke up in the middle of the night because she had received an empathic 'vibe' of intense fear, and began to worry that the worst had happened, only to discover that a mouse in her home had gotten its tail stuck in a cabinet door. She sometimes knows that "someone or something, somewhere is feeling (insert emotion)" - things like that.}

Appearance: Wynnë is 5’11”; is slender and delicate-looking, although she is not frail. As part of her family’s tradition she wears three rings on both hands: one on each thumb, one on each index finger, and one on each ring finger. All the rings are silver and are woven, with the exception of the ones on her index fingers - those two rings instead have a circular purple gem (because this is her family’s stone) on them. She has long and straight white hair which reaches just an inch or two below the base of her spine. Her eyes in their normal state are purple, but will change colour based on with what she is communicating: brown when she’s connected to something of the earth (plants, rocks, etc.); light green when with animals (humanoids included); deep blue when the wind is carrying a message to her; ice blue when she’s communicating with spirits (either those of the Dead, or Elemental, or Nature Spirits).

History: Wynnë's family name is Irw'are [ear-wah-air] and her family is ancient, prominent, and respected in Crinitia; one of those families that are important when it comes to politics. Wynnë’s mother passed away when she was 282 - Mairïa (her mother) was a young 624 when she died. After her mother’s death, which still grieves her to this day, Wynnë became the family matriarch (even though her grandmother and great-grandmother are still alive), which is a demanding responsibility: she now makes the family’s decisions and must make her family’s best interests a priority as important as her position as Imperial Advisor; her family relies on her completely. Since her mother’s passing, Wynnë has become much closer with her father (Malahâat [mall-ah-hot]) and younger brother (Joladhi [joe-lad-high), and closer still to her pet and companion, Vaydon, a Jerenise her parents gave to her as a birthday present when Wynnë turned 16; Vaydon was a 4-month old “kitten”, so to speak, at the time.

History: The man trained all his childhood in a monastery until his twentieth birthday. Now he roams the land looking to help where he may and just to see the sites.

Appearance: He is an elf of about five feet and seven inches of height and weighs in at a mere one-hundred and forty pounds far from being considered light weight the man is a mass of taunt and toned muscles obviosuly he keeps himself in shape and his clothing is dark leather formfitting to him and absolutely silent in motion or stillness it might have an enchantment but only a mage could tell for certain and what the enchantments are if they exist. The only other note worthy thing are the claws he wields as if they are an extension of his hands The claws are indeed enchanted most heavily. the most noticable enchantments are those making them unbreakable and ever sharp. of lesser notice is the one that makes the weapons absorb light instead of shining in it allowing them to be hidden in shadows easily. There might be others but only a mage qould know
History: (limit of three sentences! ) The elven man is not very well known from his deeds. Though he was exiled from his home village in the mountains bordering the dragon lands. He travels with only his armor and his claws as well as a small pack with needed gear to live off the land

Age: 1500
Magic and ability: Kel'Joth once possessed power of the element of earth. However a battle has robbed him of his sight and his ability to effectively use it.
Skills: Weapon mastery. He can make use of any weapon he comes in contact with usually with deadly results. He is a skilled hand to hand fighter as well.
Occupation: Weapons instructor, combat expert, elite Special Forces soldier

History: Kel'Joth has a long distinguished carrier in the Crinitian military. Having fought in numerous battles both large scale and small he was in line to be a high general. However those plans and dreams came crashing down during a small skirmish with a band of brigands north of Gormaith when a lucky slash from the commander caught him across the face. Many of his superiors and those he fought with feared that he was now doomed to be hustled off to rot. Kel was not the sort to let that happen. He bounced back in record time and learned to get along with out his sight. He is and has always been a hard worker and insists on those training under him or fighting with him to be the same. This makes him somewhat unpopular in some quarters. If you're lazy that is. Otherwise he is generally easy to get to know and he’s a loyal friend.

Magic and ability: Fire, minimal. Not Pyro kinetic, but fluent enough to start a large fire and cook large animals.
Skills: Leather worker, pelter, Smithy, Fisherman, Hunter, Shaman, Cheiftan, Warrior.
Occupation: Cheiftan and Warrior lord of his tribe.
Appearance: Pale skinned man, about five foot eleven, with long black hair. Many beads and feathers woven through his locks. Blue almost white irised eyes, wears heavy worked pelts and bone ceremonial armor.
History: Demi, was appointed Cheiftan at 19 when he felled an ice bear that was rampaging through his village, and had slain his previous cheif. Demi is covered from head to toe in tattoos and bears the mark of the Raven on his back. His Spirit mate.

Magic and Ability: Narth was never skilled in magic thought may develop some as story progresses, when such a time arises I will post his proficiancies.

Occupation: Demi's friend and "Advisor". Village warrior and personally proclaimed "Bodyguard" for Demi.
appearence: Narth is a strapping man. Large arms and well developed war muscles show as he stands about 5"11. His most promenant feature is his sculpted upper body, which is most of the time hidden by leather skins.
History: Narth's family was a secreted bunch, whom were always advisors to the cheiftan of the village. Narth's father was a small man with poor vision, who never the less was just as secretive as the rest fo the family. Narth himself doesn't know much about them.

Name: Keishia. also known as kish. Her last name is unknown to any other than herself.
Kingdom: Crinitia
Age: 17
Skills: Kish is a practiced and very efficent theif and street vendor. When she is not in the streets aquiring loose change and shiney objects, she spends her time as a travling magician and free lancer, hiring herself out for anyone willing enough to pay the money.
Magic and ability: Minimal. Can do small feats of dark and fire magic.
Occupation: Trouble maker, smart mouth.
Weapon of Choice: Keishia's weapon of choice was a pair of sharp intricately carved daggers that hung at her belt, and another single, slightly larger dagger strapped to her ankle.; Preferring that when she had to kill or wound, she wanted to be up close and personal with it. She also kept with her a katana for when it was impossible to get close enough to an enemy without getting wounded herself. and a pair of elbow blades she kept with her at all times. Sometimes she picks up weapons from slain enemies after battle to use for a short while.
Appearance: Keishia's appearance seemed to get her quite a few sideways glances whenever she actually came in contact with a crowd. Her hair was a Coal black with almost no shine making it look very matt and almost dead. The back of her hair was short and spiked, and her bangs were long and fell into her eyes in dark strands giving people who didn't know her that well the impression of being anti-social. Her eye make-up was dark and matched the same colour as her hair. Her eyes on the other hand were her most predominant feature being black, with the rim of her iris somehow silver. Her clothes matched her hair and make-up being almost always all black. The outfit she was seen most in was black, somewhat large long sleeved shirts that went down to mid theigh and Her pants were equally oversized so that it was kept on by a black leather belt that held her weapons of choice under her shirt the and the legs were so long that when she walked, she stepped on about two inches of the hem. Her skin however being a delicate eerie pale, was in direct contrast with the rest of her appearance. At first glance, it would not turn out to be a shock to discover that her element was dark. On her left shoulder she has a small tattoo of a spade with a crown inside of it to represent The queen of spades- aka queen of chaos.
Personality Description: Though Kish's clothes looked oppressive and morbid, these traits seemed to have not carried over completely into her personality. When among friends she was actually a very sarcastic and quick-witted person with an odd and somewhat childish sense of humor. She loved playing pranks and arguing good-naturedly whenever she could. Sometimes when she was bored, she'd say the opposite of what someone else was saying so she could argue to pass the time. Unfortunately some of Kish's traits are directly related to her dark element, though she is currently unaware of it. She tends to be unintentionally sadistic sometimes, physically or emotionally hurting someone with out realizing what she did was wrong. She is easily angered despite her good humor and can be quite vindictive and spiteful to people she doesn't like. She takes a vendetta seriously and loves revenge. She can sometimes get into extremely dark moods- when that happens, she looks for fights and becomes almost evil and in perfect harmony with her element.
Significant Events from their past: Raised on the border of a city, Kish had had and ideal childhood up until age 11 when her house had been targeted by an unknown arsonist and her parents did not have a chance to get out. They died within the fire. She was an only child and, though mourning the death of her parents, she was scared of another attack on herself,- the sole survivor, and fled into the rural areas and was taken in by a farm couple in the country side. She stayed there until she felt safe enough to venture forward. She had liked living with the couple, though she still missed her parents, but she felt restless. After she left the small farm, She never stayed in one place too long. She hated feeling confined, so she often slept under the stars. Keishia took pretty much what ever jobs were offered to her, freelancing herself to do whatever job was needed by people willing to pay good money. After leaving the scene on the arsonist attack, living on the go and doing the odd, often illegal jobs offered to her, She had learned to become an expert street fighter though she often fought dirty. Her sense of conscience and morality was somewhat blurred as time went on. She enjoyed teasing her opponents, which often led to vendettas; So when she finished a job, she made sure that no evidence was left if could be possible. She took pride in her efficiency.

Name: Jaydon Yokoshima

Age: 312 ((looks 21 or so))
Magic and ability: Jaydon has spent all of his life in perfecting his dark powers. He is able to use dark magic against those he wishes. Being an assassin all his life has helped him in training and perfecting techniques and attacks he would need later in his life.
Skills: Martial Arts, fist fighting, healing, dark magic.
Occupation: Assassin, Training to be a Dark Lord.
Appearance: He looks more intimidating that he usually is, being a fighter rather than a compassionate guy, he tends to dress in black loose clothing. Most of the time, he wears a black cloak which covers his mess of white hair. If one were to peer into his eyes they would find them a bright yellow color, when angered they turn a darker shade of yellow and glow from the powers rising within him. His frame is rather long and sleek, muscular along with the mix. His skin is an olive color completing the complexion and look of him, most of the time he has his two katanas tied to his belt, along with other small dagers, and a kitsune mask which he wears on the assassin jobs he gets.
History: He has always been an outcast, nothing more nothing less, finding the darkness within him he embraced it without a second thought. It takes him along time to warm up to anyone, most of the time he would rather kill them than get to know them. He will always be nothing more than cold and harsh until someone can take that away and allow him the chance to love once more.

History: Raised by a winter wolf pack on Shintara. Shiva is one of her pack mates which is ever by her side. Her has recently pass in to adulthood by blooding herself on a Skraeling, upon which she used the claws and teeth to replace her older ice bear weapons.
