((Alright, this setting is a bowling alley. It's a typical bowling alley, with a bar and an arcade section as well.))

Ryan let out a curse under his breath as the ball only took out the three pins on the right. It'd been to long since he had played. His steps were all wrong, and the skin on his hand was sore from the ball. When the ball was returned, he carefully stepped forward, trying to measure his strides. Unfortunately, his strides were a little too long, and he stepped over the line. His foot touched the grease, and immeadiatly went out from under him. He managed to keep from falling, but he lost his grip on the ball, and it flew onto the alley, going right into the gutter.

"s**t", he said again.

Autumn, who was about to bowl one lane over, looked over to see the young man playing next to her. She thought nothing of the few pins knocked over the first time. I probably wouldn't do any better, she thought. As he nearly fell & dropped the ball, she giggled to herself.

She picked up a ball & eye-balled the bowling lane she was bowling on. She took a step forward, throwing the ball, & watched as it edged its way to the right side of the lane, taking out only two pins.

"Don't worry, I'm not that great at this game, either," she said to the man next to her. As she spoke to him, she noticed the scar on his face that made its way down to his shirt, but thought better than to ask about it right away.

Bing, unlike his fellow coworkers in the bowling lanes, was hanging around the miniscule room the bowling alley called an arcade. Right now he was playing space invaders, a addiction that he carried from childhood to his working adult years. The only reason he was out of work was because bowling was apparently a "Team building" sport or something. He didn't want any part of it, the others would ethier laugh or get angry about his crappy bowling. He would've rather stayed in the office, least he would be alone, but it was a day out of the office, and who knew when he was going to get another chance like this, so there he was, idly pressing the buttons, shifting the joystick now and then.

Ryan felt his face warm up as he heard the girl giggle. At least I didn't fall down, I'll take laughter over pity any day

He turned to the girl that had spoken to him, scratching the scars on the left side of his face with his right, a nervous habit he had picked up. "I used to be a lot better, but it's been so long I've forgotten." He glanced up to his right. Well, now what do I do? Do I say 'hi'? Introduce myself? Dammit, I'm no good at this.

"Don't feel bad. I never was good at this game. Then again, I've only played a few times."

Autumn stood there, unsure of what else to say. As her ball came back up through the ball-return, she picked it up & tried once more. This time, she only knocked down two on the other side of the lane. "Damn," she said to herself.

Turning back to the man once more, she decided to introduce herself, her game now over with a pretty low score. "So how long has it been since you last played?" she asked, not knowing what else to say. She took a glance at her watch. Damn, have to leave soon.

Out of quarters and bored, Bing decided to roam the cigarette scented alley, watching all those teenagers showing off to their girlfriends and stuff. He felt old. Great, he was 23, and he felt like a old man reminiscing on the good ol' days. He was going to talk to someone about that.

He watched two people, one of the guys seemed to be flirting with some girl. Bing let out a sigh, maybe he just needed someone in his life... Nah, probably wasn't it, he didn't exactly have the greatest of social skills.

"Oh geez, um... let me think here... maybe ..seven years ago?" What do I say? I need to say something. I guess I should intoduce myself.

"Ummm, my name's Ryan Michaels." Still trying to think of what to say, it came out as though he didn't care who she was. Belatedly, he remembered to hold his hand out to her.

"Autumn Chandler," she replied, shaking his hand.

"Seven years, huh? That is a long time. I think this is my first time playing in... Oh... I don't know.. 4 years? Before that, I hardly ever played to begin with. I've always sucked at it." She chuckled & glanced at her watch.

"Uh, oh. I have to go."

Autumn wandered back to the seats where her regular shoes sat. She quickly changed back to her regular shoes. "Ah, much better."

She picked up her bowling shoes, & looked back at Ryan. "Well, it was nice meeting you. I have to go though. I'm supposed to pick someone up, & I'm late. I'll be back tomorrow though, if you're interested in meeting up."

She whirled around, hurrying to the counter to return her shoes. They're going to kill me for being late, she thought to herself. As she hurried over to the counter, she accidentally bumped into another man.

"Whoops, I'm sorry," she said as she hurried by him, quickly glancing over her shoulder to look at him & make sure she didn't knock over.

Autumn returned the shoes to the guy working behind the counter, & hurried out the door.

((Yup, time for me to go. I'll be back tomorrow around 4 to 4:30 EST. Toodles!))

Michel was really not all that surprised when the young woman bumped into him while hurrying out the door of the bowling alley, he seemed to just be a magnet for people in a hurry ((*cough* Alan *cough*)). He had never really been in a bowling alley until today. He had seen bowling as a rather pointless excercise, and he continued to hold that impressions as he gazed upon the seen before him.

"It's nice to meet you, Ms. Chandler." Ryan said, his voice sounding much more sincere. Then she told him she had to leave. "Alright then, I might have time. See you tomarrow maybe."

As she left, he saw her bump into someone else. He wouldn't have given it a second thought, except something about the guy seemed familiar. Wait, was that it? Maybe he was that guy from the other day.

"Excuse me, sir? Weren't you involved in a fight at a pharmacy the other day?"

Michel suddenly realized he was being spoken to. He turned towards the voice, only to see a rather familiar looking man. Oh yeah, he realized, its that guy from the pharmacy.

"W-well, I-I-I wasn't exactly involved..." Michel stuttered in a rather embarrassed fashion. He didn't really like remembering back to that, as it didn't really end so well. "Um...uh, pretty small world, oui? Have you been here long?"

He wasn't surprised the guy remembered him, the scars made him stand out.

Ryan gave a small chuckle, thinking of James punching that blowhard in the face. "Yes, it is indeed. I kind of know the guy that defended you, as well. I've been here maybe a half an hour, I'm on the third frame." It didn't occur to Ryan that the guy might not know anything about bowling. He was in a bowling alley after all.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Ryan" He held out a hand.

"Michel,err...well, most Americans call me Michael. they think Michel is a a girl's name." He winked and Ryan as he said it, meaning he didn't really mind that he had a "girl's" name. He really had no idea what this "frame" was that Ryan was talking about, but that was okay.

"Uh, I believe bowling is played with two or more people, non? Do you have a group you are already playing with?"
