Syam leaned back against Circe as he waited for Starry. He had completed his training a few minutes ago and was reclining. He had told her that he would be here, just not WHEN... and so... he waited, booted feet crossed and s**t off due to the heat, despite the shade they were in.
Circe had her beak dipped in a tub of water, set the specially for the Gryphons. Syam had given her fresh water from a hose nearby. She drank slowly, not so much because she was thirsty, more because she just needed to cool herself down. It was even hotter than the day before, and she wasn't sure why they were waiting around, but she didn't question her partner.

Starry trotted into the training area at a slugs pace, it was burning outside.
DRAT THIS HEAT!She thought to herself, whiping away some sweat droplets from her forehead. It looked as though she'd collapse, whether dramatic or not otherwise. Thankfully though, since this was a training area to simulate the outside environment; there were trees and whatnot.
" Gott! Ich werde an der Hitze sterben! " Starry exclaimed somewhat loudly. She'd forgotten that someone was to be already here. Starry looked around and saw a unshirted Syam. You couldn't tell she was blushing, since her face was already red from the heat.
Nanaki was carrying Zef on his back. The heat was greater than before, and the fact that he bore more heat than was usual; he was starting to slow down. He nudged his owners' arm gently and squawked. Nanaki desperately wanted some water, and he was sure that even the little one would enjoy a drink as well.

Syam blinked his yellow eyes open when he heard a loud exclamation. Seeing Starry he smiled and stood. Stretching, he was oblivious as to how low his breeches really were on his waist, he straightened and offered her a half-smile, "Ich weiß, ich hasse die Hitze auch." Cracking his knuckles he nodded at Nanaki and Zef, "Still, some tournaments are this hot. If you want, I've got some fresh water in the tub by Circe. Do you need something to drink?" He asked, noting how flushed she looked and giving credit to the heat. He didn't find himself good looking, but he knew he was in good shape. Being a true warrior it wasn't about appearance, but ability and that was where his confidence lay.
Circe watched her partner stand up, then her orange gaze traveled to Starry, then she saw Nanaki. Standing up quickly, despite the heat on her black feathers, she trotted over to him eagerly, making a happy purring growl she nuzzled against him affectionately.

" Wirklich? OH-, süsses süsses frisches WATER~! “ Starry said gratefully and trotted over to the tub of fresh water. On the way she glanced backk at Syam, taking quick notice that his pants were riding low on his hips. Her gaze lingered for alittle bit, until she noticed the twing lines. Man lines. She blushed even redder, gulped and looked away quickly. Once she got to the tub, Starry splashed the water upon her face.
Nanaki gave a nod back to the human male that Starry had hung around with before. He looked forward in time to see Circe trotting up and nuzzling him. Nanaki purred deeply and nuzzled Circe back with equal affection. His tail wagged furiously despite the dreadful heat. Zef was sleeping on the Red males' back. Tossing and turning because of the heat.
A green fluff was sleeping by Zef peacefully. The heat made the young little chick everso tired.

Syam chuckled as she headed off, admiring the snuggling adults, "Come on guys." He said, calling to them and turning to lead them to the water. Spotting the green furball he raised an eyebrow, "How did you get a chick between yesterday and today?" He asked curiously. He became concerned. It was too hot out for a young one, they were very fragile. He had been worried about Zef, but there was no way he'd let the young one be out here for training.
Circe didn't hesitate to lead Nanaki over to the water, knowing that he must already be really hot. She still leaned over to groom him gently every few steps until they got to the water. Taking Zef by the scruff of the neck in a matronly way, she lowered him to the ground, then did the same for the green fluff, though she didn't know him.

Starry turned her head in Syam's direction, " I found the lil darling wandering about. Or.. maybe she found me. I don't really know who found who. I opened the door to my home this morning and the lil green fluff was curled up on my doorstep. It was a good thing it wasn't chilly lastnight though..." Starry watched as Circe gently lifted Zef and Kiwi off of Nanaki's back. She figured the two of them couldn't really be too into their slumber, but she knew they were hot. Her hands were still alittle wet, so she gently gave the both of them a well deserved petting. Via refreshingly cold hands. Starry knew not to overdue it for both Zef and the lil green one. ESPECIALLY the lil green one.
Nanaki was led to the tub by Circe. He was very grateful, and started to drink. His tail swishing gently side to side. He was happy to be with Circe again.

Syam frowned, "Well, it's best that we get indoors. Heat like this is bad for a chick, and training or no, we have to consider the weakest first." He watched as she appropriately wetted the young ones down, "Do you want to just go get a late lunch instead? I haven't eaten yet." He reached across Starry to grab his shirt and he shrugged it on, despite the heat. His skin shone, reflecting the sun and making him look oiled down.
Circe dipped her beak into the water, then groomed Nanaki. She did this several times, imbuing the water with his feathers to help him cool down. She was oblivious to everything else except for taking care of her favorite male gryphon.

Starry nodded in reply. " Even the weakest need to be taken care of..." Her stomach growled somewhat loudly. Starry made a bit of a funny face because of the noise that had emitted from her abdomen. She held the lil green fluffball. Zef was big enough to walk on his own, and seemed to have alot more energy now, considering he slept for most of the time. The wet petting most likely did the most help to him. Zef chirped his thanks. Starry had glanced over at Syam as he slipped on his shirt. The oiled down look did him good, and gave Starry a shiver that went right down her spine.
Nanaki drank his fill, taking notice that Circe was dipping water between his feathers. He twitched his ears and did the same to her. Nanaki felt that she needed it more than he, because Circe had much darker colouring thanhe himself did.
The little green chick fluffed out slightly at being all wet. She gave a cute, but pathetic purring noise.

Syam took a towel out of his bag and wiped himself down, wondering if he should go back to his inn to take a shower first. But the grumbling from Starry changed his mind. He offered a half smile, "Let's go then. I know this really neat little diner near the inn that I'm staying in. They have stables that will feed gryphons too. I know Circe likes to hunt her own food, but you can get Zef and the little fluffball there something to munch on." He winked at Nanaki and Circe, "I'm sure those two will disappear together."
Circe affectionately nuzzled against the now damp Nanaki, feeling good because of the water that he was grooming into her. The slightest breeze helped her keep cool because of it. She blinked at her partner as he spoke, mentioning her name then winking at her and her companion.

" Sounds good to me " Starry said smiling back at Syam, her bangs covering the right side of her face. " yeah, I'm sure they will. Nanaki likes to hunt on his own as well..." Starry peered down at the green sleeping fluff in her arms. "..I think I'll call her..Kiwi... " Zef chirped, his own lil' stomach growled.
Nanaki nuzzled Circe quite affectionately. His ears twitched when his owner spoke his name. Either way, Nanaki kept purring despite his hungriness. He was quite content at the moment.

"Alright, let's head over then." He picked up the saddle that he used with Circe. Walking over to her he set it loosely on her back, but didn't strap it in, knowing she wouldn't dump it. Taking his own bag and weapons he slung it across his own back then began leading the way over, "Kind of strange, this heat wave. Then again, I haven't been in this country for a long time, so I probably just don't remember. Do you live here?" He said, trying to start a conversation with the attractive female.
Circe purred, stopping for a moment as the saddle was set on her, surprised by the sudden weight she looked back to see her partner getting ready to leave. Straightening up she flapped her wings a bit to get her balance and adjusting the saddle so it was comfortable, then followed after her partner, looking back to make sure Nanaki followed.

Starry adjusted the small pack on he shoulders and followed Syam and Circe. She looked down at her feet to make sure Zef was following her, and thankfully he was. As was Nanaki. Well, he was more or less following Circe. She snickered at the two adult gryffins. Starry thought they looked cute together. Every now and again she'd lightly pet the green chick in her arms. " Yeah, it IS alittle weird. But sometimes it just gets that way. I've lived here for abit...."
Nanaki loyaly followed his owner, as well as the female Gryffin. He purred to himself, swishing his tail contentidly.

Syam led them to a place on the outskirts of the village. It looked like someone's home rather than a place to eat, with stables in the back for anything from a goat to a gryphon. There wasn't any advertising anywhere, but the place survived on personal farming and travelers, rather than the villagers themselves. Syam knocked on the door and a pretty brunette in her early thirties answered, smiling as she recognized Syam, "Hello Anne, you got a spot for me and a few friends today?"
Anne smiled back, flirtaciously, "Well we've always got a place for you sweetie." She stepped out of the door and began leading them toward the stables, "You look like you worked hard today, handsome."
Syam winked, "It's my job, work hard, fight hard, look good, earn money." He joked then chuckled as he took a seat in front of the stables and in the shade.
"What can I get for you to drink to get ya started?" She asked, taking a notebook and pencil out of her apron pocket, acknowledging Starry for the first time.
Circe stepped next to Syam and deposited the saddle there, shook her feathers out then headed to the middle of the street to take off flying, so she could hunt. She chirped curiously at Nanaki, as though asking if he wanted to come along.

Starry followed Syam along to a old looking place. It gave off a homely atmosphere. This was odd for her. She'd lived here almost all of her life, and she never even knew of the place. She sighed. You learn new things all the time. She watched as Syam curtly knocked on the door, and a brunnette answered the door. The woman, in her late 20's to early 30's, spoke only to Syam, completely ignoring Starry's presence. Starry, took a mental note, and she did NOT like being ignored. Let ALONE by a flirty lil brunnete. She followed Syam again, as he took a seat infront of the stables. Once Starry had seated herself, the woman had finally acknowledged her. Starry had giving a look that said ' oh-NOW-you-finally notice-me '. She never cared for flirts. Though, why she was feeling alittle...jealous. Wait. Jealousy? Oh dear. " I think I'll just take some water..."
Nanaki perked up once he heard Circe's chirp of curiousity. He took notice that she was in the middle of the street. She was going off to hunt! And wanted to know if he wanted to go along. Nanaki chirped back as if to say yes, and trotted up by her. It'd been a good while since he'd been on a good hunt.

The brunette frowned at the expression Starry shot her, but wrote down her order none-the-less, then turned to Syam, all smiles, "And you honey?" She asked, really laying it on thick now.
"I'll have an iced tea." He smiled at her, elbows resting on the table and fingers interlaced as he leaned forward in his seat.
"Would you like sugar with that, or lemon?" She asked, placing her hand lightly on his shoulder. It could have meant nothing if it weren't for the look she shot Starry."
"Just lemon, thanks." He nodded, at her.
"Alright, I'll be back." She smiled, then walked away from their table.
"And something for the young ones!" He called back. She waved in acknowledgment then disappeared inside the house.
Seeing Nanaki coming toward her, she lowered her body then sprang into the air with practiced ease. Her body was light for flying, wings powerfully pumping as she gained height and wheeled around in the sky, looking around for her preferred companion.
