Yesh. Its a PRIVATE rp. >_< Rain and Asriel walked through the meadow, the lond dry stalks tickling their legs. Asriel couldn't take the tickling, so flapped his wings and rose into the air. It was a clumsy flight, but a flight non-the-less. Rain grinned, cheering the young gryphon on. Asriel squwacked, puffing up in chest in pride. As he rose, his large orange eyes spotted a figure not far off. He screeched a warning note, fluttering down to Rain's side. He was ready for anything. He would protect his mistress at all costs.

Kaju skipped around, she was walking through a thick meadow. She couldnt help but grin as she watched Taka try and attempt to fly. She continued to walk, not noticing they wernt alone. The brown Gryphon named Taka, jumped every few steps and flapped his wings to try and fly. He would only raise a few centimeters then come crashing down but only to repeat the whole process again.

Asriel let loose a volley of screeches. He flapped his wings, rising into the air quicker than before. His mistress was in danger, an intruder was approaching! Asiel extended his razor sharp talons to full length, watching them gleam in the light from the sun. Letting loose another ear-shattering scream, he launched toward the figures approaching. "ASRIEL! DOWN!" yelled Rain, sprinting after him. Rain panted as she ran, it was miserably hot, and her long hair was thick on her neck. Asriel pulled up from his dive when he heard her, rushing over to her quickly. He landed gracefully, coming right next to her, winding his tail through his legs. "Asriel, what has gotten in to you?" Rain murmured, stroking his head. Asriel purred loudly, swishing his tail. Rain looked up to find the girl not far away, a brown chick at her side. Asriel's feathers rose again, and he hissed loudly. "Calm down," muttered Rain, flattening her hair to make herself more presentable.

Once the screach was heard Kaju stopped moving. "Woah, what was that?" She said as she picked up the heavy Taka to take a look around. Soon out of the corner of her eyes she eyed another girl. "Hey Taka! Look! More people!" She said and grinned, she saw the teenage red Gryphon at her side. Take instictivly lifted his head, squirmed and once he was placed on the floor he growled and bared his claws. Kaju sighed. "Calm down, they look friendly!" She said and with a grin, she waved and looked back at Taka. Taka relaxed and started to try to fly again.

Rain relaxed. "Its ok Ace, they're friendly," she said softly, walking toward them. Asriel stayed close to her side, never moving to far unless a butterfly taunted him. Rain came up to the girl, grinning broadly. "Um, hello," she said, putting out her hand to shake. Asriel lowered his head in greeting at the chick, raising a wing.

Kaju closed her eyes and grinned as the new girl came up to her. "Hiya!" She said and grabbed her hand softly and shook it. "Im glad to have finally seen someone out here for a while! It has been lonely, right Taka?" She said, and looked down at the chick. Taka was too busy to notice, he cocked his head and mirrored Asriel's movements. He squaked happily as he saw that Kaju seemed satsified.

Asriel clucked a small hello to Taka, fluffing up his breast feathers. He nipped playfully at Rain's hand, searching her for traces of the all-powerful jerky. "Stop that," said Rain, pushing hia beak away. Asriel shyed away quickly, turning back to Taka. His the language of clucks and sqwacks, he introduced himself to Taka. "I am Asriel," clucked Asriel.'
"Well, I'm Rain," said Rain quietly, blushing. It had been very long since she had talked with someone, and she was a bit flustered. Not to mention this girl seemed familiar to her, but she couldn't place what exactly was.

Kaju's eye brows raised. That name... Have I heard it somewhere before? "My name is Kaju." She said with a shy grin. She has been away from her family for a few years now and she hasnt seen anybody for a few days. It felt nice to see someone.
Taka fluffed his chest feathers. He was now too big for Kaju to carry and stronger, definatly. His wings had fadded to a light brown and his beak now faded from black to yellow. He was a very handsome Gryphon. He answered in quiet clicks and chirps back, "Hello Asriel. My name is Taka!" He answered shyly. "Might I ask... Can you use your feathers?" He sounded slightly nervous, and truth be told he was, he ment to ask if Asriel knew how to fly.

Asriel clucked his beak, grinning broadly. "I do. But since I am only a fledgling, I have not perfected it..." said Asriel, stretching his right wing out so Taka could see the growing flight feathers. Once his flight feathers were fully developed, he would rule the sky! And perhaps find a suitable partner.
Rain stopped in the middle of forming a word. Kaju? Kaju? Where had she heard that before? Rain nodded slowly. She could see her one expression mirrored on Kaju's face. "Well, it seems that I remember you from somewhere, but exactly where has escaped my memory..." she said, twisting her long blond locks of hair into a thick braid, tying it with a dried piece of grass. Asriel chirped as she did this, plucking on of his feathers and sticking it into her hand. Rain blinked, then realized what he wanted, and stuck the feather into the braid. Rain giggled, fingering the long red feather. "Thank you Asriel," she said, scratching him behind the ear.

Taka looked confused. "Ahh, so you do not know how to touch the clouds then? I was hoping you could teach me the ways of taking flight since I am only but a young-ling." He said and grinned as finished his little sounds of clicks and chirps, mixed in with some movements as well.
Kaju lowered her eyebrows. "Same for me.... But where have I met you?" She said as she stopped to think. Kaju has a very poor memory but sometimes she could remember people. She grinned when Asriel gave Rain a feather. "I wish Taka would do that. But he likes his feathers on his body." She said and chuckled. "Besides, my hair is on the short side." She said and admired Rains long blue hair and began to envy it.

"I took Asriel from his nest before he hatched, because his mother had been slaughtered by a demon....So he was very adoring when I began to take care of him, mostly because he had never known his mother...." said Rain sadly, toying with the red feather.
Asriel sneezed loudly, shaking his head. "You have me wrong. Of course I can touch clouds! I have only to perfect the flight patterns. I will teach you if you want me to," clucked Asriel, swishing his tail. Taka was like the brother Asriel never had. Well, Asriel remembered as an egg that he once had siblings, but then the awful shattering sound of them all smashing when the demon gryphon barged into the nest. Rain rescued him from a horrible death. He was the only living one, or so he thought.

Kaju paused, where had she heard that before? Had someone told the same story about something... or someone? "Wow, thats so brave of you. I just found Taka abandoned by his family. He was the youngest and the only one who survived, I mean the eggs. I have never seen his mother or father. All I found was a feather..." She said and reached into her big coat pockets and pulled out a medium feather. It was the same shade as Taka and had small white prints in it, like Harris Hawk prints. There was a tiny bit of blood on the feather but Kaju had never noticed.
Taka perked his head high. "You will? Really? Please, great Sir. Teach me the ways of touching the clouds." He said and bowed his head poliely, he wanted to learn how to fly so bad!

Asriel chuckled, outstretching both wings to their full extent. "Then let's go find ourselved a cliff," said Asriel, bounding away, towards a small little clifff that overlooked an outstretch of forest. He stopped someway before the edge, motioning for Taka to follow. "Stand here and watch," said Asriel, pointing to the spot with his talon. With a huge burst of speed, Asriel was sprinting toward the cliff edge, his wings outstretched. With a huge leap, he was over teh edge. With a huge flap of his wings he caught in updraft and came to soar over the meadow. After a couple loops and spins, he landed next to Taka. "Right off that cliff, there is a nice upraft. You should be able to catch it and ride it up. Just remember, during the first moment it is crucial to flap your wings! If you don't, the updraft will not be able to carry you," instructed Asriel.
Rain stared at the feather, and almost fainted. That feather, she had seen it before! Rain dived into her bag, searching frantically. She pulled out a feather, identical to the one that Kaju had. "I do believe that our grpyhons are related," she said quietly, twirling the feather between two fingers.

Taka cocked his head and clicked his beak in excitement when Asriel landed down. "Woah! I wanna try!" He said. Soon he also outstretched his wings and ran to the cliff edge, soon he jumped off and flapped his wings like crazy. He lowered a few inches but was soon flying around. "WOAH!" He said happily as he looped and circled around. Soon he went over to Asriel and almost crash landed head first into the rocks, he tumbled and somersaulted until he rammed into Asirel. "Oops. My apologies." He said and began to laugh.
Kaju's eyes widened. "Seriously? I didn't know Taka was related, I thought he was abandoned or something. Wow..." She said and began to think. She looked at the feather and put the long feather into the little messy bun she had on her head so it stuck strait out. "Thats amazing!" She said and sat down on the floor and flopped onto her back and sighed. "Taka will be so happy to learn he has a brother!" Taka wasn't born when Asriel was, so he doesnt know what happened to his family.

Asriel couldn't help but smile. He remembered the feelings of his first flight, how wonderful it had been to be free of earthly bounds. Taka was going through the same thing. Asriel chirped happily, leaping into the air without the help of the cliff and climbing into the air with swift flaps of his wings. Soon, he was soaring above the meadow, chirping out his happiness.
Rain looked over at Asriel and Taka, flying together. "They're perfect brothers. Seperated only by age. When I found Asriel, his father was no where to be found. His mother lay dead along with one smashed egg. His father must have taken Taka and perhaps another egg. But Asriel's mother was killed, so I took him in. Same must have happened to the father," she said, deep in thought.
