About halfway up the mountain was sat a man, his face turned torwards the sky.Yellow eyes, clouded by blindness, stared unseeingly upwards as a dark figure soared in circles, though he couldn't see it he could hear the faint jingle of bells.He ran a hand over his short, black hair, yawning lightly.
The dark figure continued to soar in circles, doing small dives and twists every now and then.

Shayne gasped for breath as he chased after the small chick that had taken off at the sight of the wheeling figure up ahead, "Phineas!" The young boy called out, desperate to stop the young chick. The attempts were futile though. Or so he thought until the chick suddenly stopped and he tripped while trying to avoid crushing the baby, landing on his butt on the ground next to Phineas.
Phineas had stopped because he suddenly saw the human male with his face turned up at the gryphon above them. With a baby screech he fluffed out and took a defensive stance, not used to strangers.
Phineas blinked at the chick, wondering why his was acting in such a way. But when he looked up and saw the human he immediately went into action, grabbing the baby and holding it, he looked apologetically up at the man, "Ah, I'm sorry! He just got excited!"

Cecil turned his head torwards the boy and his gryphon as he heard them coming closer, chuckling slightly at the soud of the chick's screech."No need to apologize."He turned slightly on the rock he was sitting upon, to face them better."Might I ask what you are doing up here?By the sound of it you are both rather young, and it can get dangerous up here."
The flying gryphon, noticing more movements below, went into a sharp dive.She pulled up as she neared the ground and landed lightly beside her owner, the bells on her many accessories jingly madly.She puffed out slighly, eyeing the two stranger with a mix of suspicion and curiosity.

Shayne blinked as he realized that the man was blind, "Ah, I know. I don't like coming here alone, my chick just took off." He said apologetically, unsure why he felt bad about being caught in the mountains. He didn't have long to ponder though.
Phineas saw the other Gryph and puffed himself out aggressively, looking pompous, even for a baby as he stared haughtily at the full grown female. He liked the jingle sound she made though, not that he showed it.

Cecil turned even more so he faced the boy completely."I see, well atleast neather of you were hurt."He smiled."May I ask your name?Mine is Cecil."
Mia cocked her head to the side, quite amused by the small chick.She took a couple steps forward and bent down, cocking her head to the other side to stare at the chick through her blue, right eye, Tail flicking upwards as she did.

Phineas clawed his way out of Shayne's arms and held himself proudly, watching the female. He leaned forward to sniff at her. He tried to contain himself, but he couldn't stop his tail from twitching excitedly. He hadn't seen a full grown Gryphon before!
"Ah, my name is Shayne." He said shyly. The blond boy wasn't a very outgoing person and he couldn't help but wonder if this blind man was lost. He couldn't see where he was going... but he did have a gryphon guide, so maybe he wasn't as bad off as Shayne had assumed, "Nice to meet you Cecil."

Cecil set his elbows on hs knees, lacing his fingers together and resting his chin atop them."It is nice to meet you as well."He smiled, eyes focused on the boy, despite his lack of sight.He fell silent, brow furrowing slightly in thought.
Mia puffed herself out and stood up straight, staring down at the chick, though she only did this to see the reaction it got from the smaller gryphon.Her tail twitched slightly, it had been a good while since they had seen another gryphon, so he was quite happy to have come across one, even if it was so..small.
