nothing much jsut relaxing after work, and getting ready to start writing about why captive animals cannot be free after about 10 years or more in captivity.

actually some animals are quite happy to be with humans.


Like guide dogs, some of the dolphins I met, rabbits, chinchillas...


its a good thing because the ones in captivity/human care seem to do very well, in fact some live longer than those in the wild but they also teach us many things. its a pretty cool topic.

actually they only live a long life if they are well cared for and happy overall. like dolphins. I know one who is in her mid 50s and the average life span for a dolphin is 30-50 years.


in the wild I know animals like the orca tend to live anywhere from 50-80 years. And females usually live that long. however in captivity, they live to be anywhere from 10-30 something. so it cuts their life span in half or less.

and in other species it depends. some that were born in human care seem to do well because they are fed and have loads of vitamins too.

yeah im rambling now... I need to get to work.
