If you don't like anime, should you even be on Gaia? I mean, yeah, if a lot of your friends are here, I guess that's a reason. I just don't think there's any point to being on gaia if you hate anime. I know a person that probably can't even name two animes that goes on gaia. ::cough:: Nicole ::cough::. And, she doesn't have any friends on here, so what the hell's the point?

When I first started on gaia I straightly hated anime, then one of my real friends showed my sailormoon(movies) I started liking anime better. Now I straightly love anime

i'm kinda indifferent to anime
i don't love it but i don't hate.
this has never affected my time on gaia.
there are so many other hings to talk about that i don't think it matters if you don't have a strong interest in one area.

Gaia is supposedly an anime-based community (I even have a Manga-drawing-skills book with Gaia Online listed in the Art Communities section) but really, there's only one forum about it (and a load of guilds) so you could join Gaia if you like Anime or not.
But if you hate anime, you shoudn't make threads saying how much you hate it, because that just annoys people.
I love manga/anime! Ever since I saw Cardcaptors when I was nine I've been drawing/watching/reading manga. So, um, yay!

I see where your comming from on that. My friend on gaia doesn't really like anime, all though she did like peach girl from the Gaia cinema.
She goes on Gaia because I told her too, and she liked it, cause everyone knows its addicting.xP
Some people see this and thinks its cool because it's like myspace in some ways; making cool profiles, talking to friends. Plus you can play games as well.
As for me, I've loved anime for 3 years so far, and thats the reason I like Gaia so much, even though when I first joined it was becaue my little cousin showed me it. xD

well I think that it's ok to not like anime and still be on Gaia. Gaia was originally just a site to role play and meet people. But I do somewhat agree with you about not having a point if you don't like anime.
I adore anime... but some people come to gaia just to make friends.... I think that's ok since it does no harm.
