Book:
-The Area of my Expertise ~ Is just very interesting (The entire first chapter is written on the cover)
Movie:
-Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ~ Shows the effects of drugs very well
-Thirteen ~ Is a story about a girl who starts abusing drugs/alcohol and ruins her life
-Requiem for a Dream ~ A very graphic movie about 3 people who intend to get rich by selling drugs and end up ruining their lives.
-One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest~ The film portrays the horrible truth about how patients were treated in mental institutions back then, and tells the story of someone who desperately wanted to break out, to rebel, to change things, for himself and for the others.
-The Good Shepherd ( not out yet )~ Shows how the CIA was formed
-Clockwork orange~ This film brilliantly satirises this world, showcasing pure evil and people who ordinarily do not perform such evil are forced to laugh and observe what we all hate to admit is the truth. It's sick, but at the same time brilliant.
